The entire process went very well. Ed showed up on time and was very courteous and professional and clearly knew what he was doing. He got right to work and finished the job quickly. Ed was respectful of the house, always wearing protective covers on his shoes when he came inside. I would definitely use them again.

Sparrow has been responsive, thoughtful and very effective at their jobs here. I had a plumber that put all my plumbing into my new house and came through my builder. After a few months he decided not to respond to my requests to come out and fix problems that were caused by their work. It seemed like something was going on with that plumber and my builder but I can not confirm that right now. Regardless Sparrow came highly recommended by Fergusons. They told me what to expect, followed through and the problems were eliminated. They will now be our plumbers from here out.

I think that they are not quite as available as some others might be because I guess they are well established and so usually you can't get them right away unless it is a huge emergency thing, but they are a good company to work with. I think the price is reasonable, it's high but I think it is pretty much the going rate and there is a certain amount just for coming out.

Despite a very busy day was able to come and quickly fixed the problem.

Arrived on time, called to say they were on the way, was patient with my looking over the shoulder and asking questions. the guy worked efficiently and clearly knew what he was doing and did it quickly over came problems of recalcitrant bolts. Interesting person to talk to.

I just read what was written on the Angie's List about them. The plumber who did one of the kitchen, I had a question about something that doesn't seem to be quite right with the water filter and he came back by to check it out on his way home. Their customer service is good. I am new to the area, so I don't know if the price is fair or not. I think they are competitive in the area. I can't compare them to anyone in the area.

It was really quick and easy. He did a great job. He had to come back not too long ago because the faucet was loose and he fixed it for no extra charge.

.Lester the plumber was excellent. He was able to diagnose and correct the problem with no difficulty. An A+ score for the work done and how it was done would not be an exaggerated rating. I know who I will call for any future plumbing needs.

Woke up one morning to a loud "bang" under the house, in the crawlspace and NO hot water. Upon examination the power module on the side of the hot water heater had basically shorted out and exploded. Made a call to Sparrow and they had a technician out that afternoon to see if the water heater was repairable. Based on the age and condition of the old heater, the technician suggested a replacement, which made good sense on multiple levels. Two technicians came out the next afternoon and installed the new hot water heater and carted away the old one. The process was smooth, seamless and efficient.

The serviceman had a cancellation and was able to arrive a day earlier than scheduled. Yea! Tommy was professional, courteous, efficient a!d delightful. I'm very pleased to have found a plumber.

No one answered the phone and no voice message available so did not engage the company for a service.

Excellent service, this is second time they come to the house. Very responsive and professional. They will be our regular plumbing service and we will certainly need them again since we live in an old house.

scheduled work got dropped at last minute and later rescheduled - shower rough-in set one elbow too close to surface - homeowner had to redo since plumber never called back to arrange time to fix- closet bend installed at wrong height and not level - homeowner has to find different plumber to have fixed UPDATE 8/6/13 - John Sparrow called to apologize and offered to talk about what it would take to make me a fully satisfied customer. This level of concern changes everything and I have updated my ratings because of this. No doubt I would like to have had it right the first time, but Sparrow does show care for customer and I'm sure this will help them be successful.

My husband called and within 2 hours they were at our house. They cut the old pump off the uphill line to identify what kind/size of pump and then they went and got it. They replaced it and used clamps instead of gluing/cementing it to attach the pump to the line pipe. They said they were doing that so it wouldn't have to be cut to remove the pump the next time it goes out (which hopefully will be a long time). They tested it (there was no water in the uphill line so no pressure) and it worked fine and they said the company would send us a bill. The only problem was that once there was water and pressure in the uphill line, a few days later (on a Saturday), one of the clamps came loose and the alarm came in again. However, my husband was able to fix it so we didn't have to call them on the weekend (although I don't think they would have charged us). It has been working fine ever since. (Knock on wood - don't want to tempt fate). If it comes loose again, we will call them back to come and glue/cement the connections. I still gave them an A on the quality as it wasn't really the installers' fault that the clamp came loose, but hopefully, this review will help them know what to look out for on future jobs.

The plumber arrived on time, quickly got to work, using a drain cleaning machine. There were apparently clogs in several places beneath the basement, so he needed to several passes through the pipe before the drain ran well. He worked over an hour on the job and did not stop until I expressed full satisfaction with the rate of drainage. He was polite and professional.

I originally contacted this company to complete some rather minor plumbing repairs; needed to have two leaky bath tub faucets fixed. I called their number to set up an appointment which went smoothly (we were able to get an appointment quickly). Thats the only thing positive I have to say about this company. The gentleman that came out to make the repairs was friendly but was not even able to complete the repair. He advised that he could not remove a part and didnt want to break it since he did not have a replacement part, which was appreciated. He told us that the part would be ordered and that someone would contact us to schedule the repairs...we are still waiting on that call a nearly two months later. I also noticed that he damaged one of the faucets taking it apart. Thankfully we were able to find someone else to complete the repairs and ironically they were able to remove everything and make the repair without any problems.

They were quick and the final result was excellent. They hauled away the old unit and the area looked as good as new. Job well done.

Sparrow and Son did a great job for us as usual. They arrived on time and quickly and cleanly opened a small hole in the ceiling so they could inspect the problem. They showed and informed us of the issues and made very specific recommendations of the work that needed to be done and which service provider was " the best" in the area to coordinate the work with them. Indeed the other service provider has been by already. We are on a schedule and expect the project to be done correctly and professionally.

Overall, I had good experience with this company. And they fixed the pluming problem promptly and professionally.

Showed up on the promised date and installed the water heater quickly and professionally. Coordinated installation with our electrician.

The repair man actually came a few minutes early. He was very courteous and knowledgable. There was really no choice in options. My water heater needed to be replaced. He told me how much it would cost and asked if I wanted to proceed. He took care of everything: disconnected the old water heater and hauled it away and replaced it with a brand new water heater. He explained what had happened. He described the new heater and how to take cae of it. Overall I was very happy. A couple drawbacks: I had to wait a day to get the service, and it was expensive.
