Description of Work: Replaced a very difficult to reach water heater. By chance, I noticed water heater leaking into its safety container. Called Sparrow and Sons (who I have used before) and they came by in a couple of hours. Got estimate about an hour later. Replacement water heater installed next day. Very Happy.

Description of Work: We had this provider replace all of our toilets, check our hot water heater and whole house plumbing. They are currently set up to put a filtration system in for us in the future. They are totally professional and have good, experienced plumbers. If you are looking for a plumber to do all of your general plumbing work, we would recommend them highly. They also have done work for our daughter and she was very satisfied as well.

Description of Work: Replaced guts of a running toilet. Failed to notice that the valve that controls the water flow rate into the toilet had developed a leak while he was servicing the toilet. A lake of water had accumulated on our bathroom floor by the time we noticed the problem. Perhaps this was not the plumber's fault, but I'm not the kind of consumer willing to be burned twice.

Description of Work: We've had to call Sparrow twice for emergency work on Saturday and the were quick to respond both times. Once, our house line to sewer clogged and they routed the issue. The second, the main on/off valve to the water in to the house broke after we turned it back on, after being off for week during travel. I texted photo of the issue to Sparrow and they knew the issue and fixed it within 3hrs of call.

Description of Work: We have used Sparrow and Sons on two occations in the past year. We first had them install a tray and safety feature under our hot water tank because the tank is in a closet on the first floor and we feared if it leaked, our home would be flooded. They did an EXCELLENT job, arrived on time, were friendly and professional and cleaned up everything before they left the house. The second time we used their services was to install an overhead flood light in our kitchen ceiling. Once again, they were EXCELLENT. This is a company that has excellent workers with many skills (plumbing, electrical, etc.) and we would most definitely call them again.

Description of Work: We suddenly had no hot water. I called Sparrow after reading the recent ratings on Angie's List. Seth came out and determined that the water heater had tripped itself off, for some unknown reason. He adjusted it, it came back on, and he said this happens occasionally. He added that if it happened again they'd explore the problem in more detail and we could call them anytime and they'd be right back out. He was kind, courteous, and well spoken - a gem. And he did not charge us for the visit! What more can you ask for? We will definitely use Sparrow again.

Description of Work: An employee of Sparrow plumbing went to my mother's home to investigate a leak in her basement. He found that her sump pump was not working due to a tripped breaker. After resetting the breaker and checking for other problems, he did not charge her for the visit.
