Overall, a great experience, I thought their prices were a little bit high, but their service and punctuality were outstanding, glass was ready when promised and while this work was done almost a year ago, I had trouble with one of the pieces, and dropped by their office and they fixed the problem without batting an eye. Would definitely use them again.

We went to their showroom and bought a mirror from them for the bathroom. They did a really good job. They went upstairs and bought the mirror down for us. I use the wheelchair and could not go upstairs. They were very accommodating. They even cut out the mirror into a circle that we were interested in. We then brought the mirror home to see if it fit and it did fit. They are very willing to work with you in finding what you need. They directed us to go on the website and look at different kinds of mirrors.

I was delighted with the service and the mirror. It was easy to contact Rice's, the lady on the telephone was very helpful, and they gave me an estimate right away. They forewarned me that there would be a smal delay because of the bevel. About 5 days later, they called to say they were ready to do the installation. I was not available for a morning installation, so they scheduled my installation for the same afternoon. The technicians called my cell phone when they were on their way to my house, and they were waiting when I arrived. The installation took about 15 - 20 minutes, and I'm very happpy with the results. The mirror was perfectly positioned on the wall and looks great. The technicians were very professional and knowledgeable, and I particularly noticed that they were very careful to close the front door when they went in and out for supplies.

They are a local company that stands behind their work 100%. They've been there a long time and they aren't trying to expand, they are just trying to stay the same and be a company that everyone know's about. I've been here for 20 years and they've been here at least that long. I think they are very trust worthy and they will give you honest advice about anything.

Rice's was very responsive throughout the process. I decided to go to the shop directly instead of using the mobile repair service option because they explained that the shop environment was a little more controlled and one might get a better adhesive performance as a result. They were punctual and answered my questions thoroughly. I could have gotten a Safelite repair for $345 right in the parking lot where I worked, but was happy with Rice.

Called late on a Fri to see about getting windshield replaced. Provided estimate over the phone and said they could do it first thing Mon. Dropped off car, they did a great job, decent price. Provided dropoff and pickup without a wait. Excellent work (cannot tell the windshield was replaced; integrated into frame v cleanly), very clear explanations of what I needed to do as follow up. They even saved stickers on my old windshield without me needing to ask (that is, I forgot to do so). Price was as estimated, no surprises or pitches for upcharges.

It was impressively professional. The two men went about their business efficiently but also were willing to explain their procedures. On all counts a satisfying experience.

They were quick to get me an estimate and they stuck to that estimate. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. When there was a problem refitting one of the windows they kept at it till it was done right.

They were wonderful. They were extremely professional and did exactly what we asked. It looked fabulous. They even scraped off the decal that we are required to have for the recycling center. I was worried about that and thought that I was going to have to buy a new one. They were able to put it on the new windshield. I was very happy.

There was no appointment necessary for this type of service. I was quoted the price and the time it would take to complete the job beforehand and both were accurate. Only had to wait 30 minutes for the job to be completed. Staff was professional and courteous.

I was given an estimate one day ater the window was reviewed (Tuesday) and Rice Glass was able to complete the replacement 3 days later. Overall, I was pleased with the quick response, effficiency and professionalism of their workers. I would definitely call them in the future for similar services.

Overall it was an excellent business experience.

The crew of two arrived actually a few minutes early. The dreaded yellow pollen had started and my wife expressed concern that it would get in our house during the exchange. The workers agreed they could actually install the new window before taking the garden window off from the outside. They worked quickly, quietly and efficiently and picked up every bit of debris before they left. We have used Rice's glass before but this crew was exceptional.

A company rep came out and measured, giving us what we thought was a fair estimate. Wait time from start to finish was about 3 weeks. We were called the day before to let us know they were ready to install. The workmen were prompt and courteous. They took great care in making sure that the screen doors and window were properly mounted and adjusted so that they opened and closed smoothly.

I contacted my insurance agent before I went to Rice's and was told that I had a deductible for both repair and replacement of the windshield. Since it was unlikely that my insurance company would pay anything because of my high deductible, I went on into Rice's to see if the windshield could be repaired. David Wright at Rice's told me that it would be worthwhile verifying the information my insurance agent had given me. He then contacted my insurance company only to discover that the information I had been given was incorrect and that the deductible would be waived for a repair. He then proceeded to file the claim for me. Five minutes later he began the windshield repair. Forty-five minutes later the job was done and all the claims paperwork completed. I didn't spend a penny for such outstanding service.

Initial visit to the showroom was not productive. I called earlier in the day to see if I needed to make an appointment. They told me to just come in and someone would help me. When I did arrive, an elderly woman 'helped' me and took me to the showroom. She did not have even the basic information on the products (for ex, which products were less expensive than others) and was quite rude when asked specific questions ("Well, naturally...) as if the question about the products was a stupid one. After the measurement was done, I called back to talk to the sales rep that I was told to call by my contractor (GC). He referred me to Alton Rice in the office and told me that he had my paperwork. I called Alton and left a vmail for him in the morning. After not hearing back from him that day, I called back the following morning and spoke to him. I explained who I was and that I was told to call him. He said he didn't have my paperwork and that he would get it and call me back. Nearing the end of that afternoon, I still hadn't heard back from him so I asked my GC to call, thinking he might get more responsiveness. Alton did call back after talking to the GC and said the reason he didn't call me back initially was that he wasn't sure he had 'permission' from the GC to talk to me. I found this explanation ridiculous since he hadn't made any attempt to confirm with the GC whether he could call me directly, but simply didn't do anything until I initiated contact (for the 3rd time) through the GC. Apparently he was lying when he had told me by phone that he would call me back as soon as he located the paperwork. After the order was placed, the installers arrived (very professional, courteous and on time). There was an error in the order and a piece was missing. I called Alton to let him know and he said he would order a new one and send someone out after several days to reinstall. He did not offer one apology for the error. When I told him that it would be appropriate to also give an apology in this situation, he argued that he couldn't apologize if he didn't know what had caused the error. I said it didn't matter, that basic customer service required the courtesy of a general apology to the customer when an error occurred. He then raised his voice and said he "didn't deserve" to be treated like this and that it was ridiculous for him to be called "out of the blue" and treated like this. At this point, I saw no other option but to cancel the order and installation. As a customer, I certainly should not be yelled at. Asking for an apology for an error, regardless of who caused it or why it happened, it not at all unreasonable. Unfortunately, this business has an appalling lack of basic manners and customer service in its office personnel. The field personnel, however, are very courteous.

They gave me an estimate and did the measuring within 24 hours. They had everything done and installed within 10 days. They do excellent work. They are punctual, efficient and clean up after themselves. I highly recommend them.

They worked quickly. The price was fair. Most of the cost was getting the part from the dealer. The labor was cheap and efficient.

The work was sloppy. Their supervisor was rude. I would not use this company again!

I think that the work and the price were wonderful. I am happy with them and the quality of the window. They were very careful and did well getting the old window out with no problems. I would highly rate them among others because they were so good. I have no complaints about them and I appreciated the fact that they were very responsive when I called.

They fixed the 3 windows the next day. The door took an extra 2 days because of the tempered glass. They replaced the picture windows in about 1 week after coming out to measure them. They did a good job on all the windows, and I saved money by taking the 3 casements and 1 door to their shop.
