Description of Work: We wanted to have glass table tops for our office desk and four other tables. We called them in their Durham office on 09/04 and talked to Mr. David who took our contact details and promissed to send their representative Mr. Lane the following day to take the measurements and give us a quote. Since we did not hear from them for another two days, we called them back on 09/07 and spoke to Mr. David who said he had already passed on our request to Mr. Lane and that he would remind him once again to visit us that day. But again no one turned up and we called them a third time on 09/12 and we got one Mr. Chad on line. We explained to him the story and Mr. Chad promissed that he would ask Mr. Lane to visit us that afternoon and give us a quote. Later that afternoon, Mr. Lane showed up seemingly little upset and declareded that he never got any of our earlier requests. Then in another five minutes he took the measurements of the tables and gave us an exorbitant quote. While handing over the quote to us, we asked him whether there was any discounts for Angies List members and he blasted out saying that he does not know angies list and he or his company did not put their name into Angies List and there was no reason for him to give any discounts to such members. We were very keen to place the order with Rice's Glass Co as they were one of the top most rated in their field according to Angies List and in that process we wasted a lot of valuable time. Since we were extreamly unhappy with their performance and interaction, we decided to try our luck with Durham Glass Co, Durham with a much lower rating in Angies List. Ms. Edith who owns Durham Glass was very prompt in calling us back and she promissed to send some one to measure the tables next day. Next day Mr. Josh came in and took the measurements and by evening Ms. Edith called back to give us the quote. Later that week the glasses were delivered and even cleaned and placed them on to the tables. A superb job at two third of the price that Rice Glass quoted. We thought other Angies list members who are paying for their services with Angies list desrve to know the story. Thank you

Description of Work: I had them rebuild two screens which they did right on time and for a reasonable fee (not cheap but reasonable).
