On time...under budget....sheetrock going in today. Bob did NOT do this although he could if asked. Great job!

We only received a quote. Wood Peace did not do the work for us.

They came out; they were prompt, saw what we wanted to be done and gave us a price. I have not yet decided whether I will use them again in the future.

We had a general idea of what we wanted and Bob took our ideas and created one gorgeous enclosure. On the exterior, he matched the siding exactly to our existing structure. He suggested four windows that matched beautifully. I hadn't thought about an exterior light and Bob suggested one above the door that comes on from dusk to dawn. On the interior, he insulated the wall and installed sheetrock, sealing everything so that I can use the space year round. Since he had to run electrical conduit for the garage opener, he suggested additional outlets which is a real plus. Below the windows he created a shelf the width of the wall and above the door he created another shelf for additional storage. The completed project looks so much better than what I had envisioned. The work looks so professional and all the little extras really add to it. I can't say enough about how satisfied I am with Bob's work. I would definitely recommend Bob for any remodeling project. He goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied.

The job went smoothly, and finished ahead of time ! Bob had practical and beautiful suggestions. All turned out BETTER than expected.

In short, Bob had to come in and fix a poor job another contractor did on a basement wall, He made very creative suggestions that I am happy we went with. Included was building a few basement walls using 2x6 rather than 2x4 to make sure the above floor joists had appropriate support when 2x4's would not work. Additionally he built a cabinet quality bookshelf that is like a piece of furnature. Bob also had to cut a whole out of a brick wall which he did very effectively with no mess. Bob was exceptional in his willingness to work within unusual constraints and I would recommend him strongly to others. He worked very quickly and his work exceeded my expectations. He also stands behind his work.

Having worked in remodeling years ago it wasn't long after meeting Bob for the estimate that I knew he had the skills and experience for this job. This was a bearing wall that required removal of siding, installation of structural headers, relocation of a/c lines & electrical as well as relocation of water lines. Besides the "rough" carpentry there was also all of the finish carpentry associated with the interior windows, wall and baseboard trim. Bob's knowledge and work is superb and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Bob never left without cleaning up the workspace and making every attempt to make us comfortable throughout the project. My wife and I are retired so we were home throughout most of the project and Bob's personality was such that we looked forward to seeing him each day. I highly recommend this contractor's work and professionalism.

Bob came to give me an estimate, and spent a good deal of time suggesting ways he could do the work so as to accomplish my objectives. I was impressed with his ideas and satisfied with his very reasonable estimate, so I signed a contract covering the materials and all of the work to be done. Bob is highly experienced in all remodeling tasks. He brought lots of enthusiasm to the project, making all sorts of useful suggestions concerning the design, size, and location of cabinets and fixtures and advising me on which materials would suit me best. I found most of his suggestions excellent and I accepted them. I had some definite ideas, though, and we sometimes disagreed (in which cases he willingly did as I wished). Overall, I am thoroughly delighted with my new bathroom and very impressed by Bob's skilled and thoughtful remodeling work! Bob was eager to do every part of the project very well, and he succeeded. Bob had estimated that the job would take three weeks but it ended up requiring six. I eventually became somewhat tired of being without a full bath for that long and I was bothered occasionally when Bob left some trash in a room or on the deck. However, I always had similar irritations in past remodeling jobs in a different house, and I believe that Bob worked steadily and generally did a good job of cleaning up the work spaces he used. I also appreciate that Bob kept to our original contract despite needing to spend several additional weeks to complete the project. I highly recommend Bob Forkish to anyone who wants a remodeling job done, especially if he or she would appreciate Bob's many enthusiastic ideas and suggestions. I will certainly call him if I have a remodeling project in the future.

It went well. Bob does everything himself, so it takes a little longer but there is no passing of the buck. All the plumbing and electrical and everything else was well taken care of. He is very competent at what he does and his ideas added a great deal to the project. This was an old kitchen in a very old house, so you know you are going to run into suprises once you start tearing everything up. We did, but there was nothing Bob couldn't handle. He told me the job would take two to three weeks and it took two and a half even with several additional things we had to do along the way. He is very clever about finding ways to make everything work in the space allotted. I could have had the job done in a much shorter amount of time by a contractor who used four guys, but I doubt very much I would have been able to get the quality of work I got. Was a good price too. . I have some pictures I will try to add later.

We are absolutely thrilled with the result. Bob is quite the craftsman and he takes a lot of pride in his work and it certainly shows. I would highly recommend Bob for any renovation project you are contemplating.

Have used Bob previously and this time was no different. Showed up on time, workmanship is excellent, and price was fair. Bob is meticulous and his work reflects his commitment to making us happy. We love our new windows and doors. I should note that we were having a termite treatment also recently, and the inspector noted that the foundation work and repairs that Bob had previously done were some of the best work he had seen. He commented that he sees a lot of shoddy work and it was refreshing to see a first class repair job.

It was quick and easy. There was nothing remarkable about the company.

He seems to be a reasonable man. This is a bigger job, and I'm not sure that he would be able to handle such a job. Other companies seemed to have more experience.

We would recommend him very highly. He really works with people and follows through. He keeps in good contact with you.

I drew up the plans for the building and assisted every day of construction. We hired day workers when needed. That fall was dry and we missed very few if any days of work. I would hire Wood Peace for the following reasons: Honesty, Craftsmanship, Knowledge, Reliability & Reasonable Pricing.

The job was completed in a professional manner. Upon removing the old faucet, he discovered a small crack in the cultured marble sink and pointed this out to us. He took care to ensure there should be no water leak at this point in the installation of the new faucet.

The original estimate was that it would take 3-1/2 to 4 weeks to complete this job, but there was a delay because of several errors by the manufacturer and installer of the cultured marble shower stall and vanity top. Otherwise, Bob Forkish completed the work quite professionally and competently. Because Bob was on the job when the cultured marble was being installed, he was able to catch the errors and ensure that they were appropriately corrected. Bob did an excellent job of installing the 12" tile floor. The ceiling repair -- even though this is a "popcorn" ceiling -- was done so carefully that one cannot tell where the repair was done.

Bob did a fine job installing the new vent. As always, on time, responsive and helpful.

As always, Bob did a fantastic job on out stair treads. He is always timely and professional.

Bob Forkish is a highly professional and competent craftsman. He is meticulous, knowledgeable, and mindful of employers suggestions and needs. I paid $ 3900 for the work done, a price we had agreed on before work was started.

The project required that the walls, tile flooring, and ceiling be removed and replaced., moving the toilet to a newly built water closet, removing the garden tub and replacing it with a large shower. It also included replacing the vanity and lighting. Bob also suggested that we replace the current bathroom entry door with a pocket door - we love it. Bob also performed several extras for me. He cut down the large mirror we had and handmade two mirror frames that matched our current woodwork stain. All work was done in a timely manner. The quality of the work was first rate. Bob is pickier than I am when it comes to quality. I highly recommend Bob for any remodeling effort you may have.

So far, so good! They keep me updated and are very responsive. He is very good to deal with. It is in a reasonable price range. They have been doing the job when they are supposed.
