It worked out very good. They were fine and we were very pleased!

They were very quick in getting us a detailed estimate that was competitive to another estimate that we had received. We thought the work would cost a lot more and we were very happy with the final price. They showed up on time and day they said they would and completed the job in one day. We had seen good reviews on them and they are the reason we chose them for the work. They did a good job.

I have hired them a few times. They have done a real good job. John, the employee who came out, was always available and gave a great estimate. They were clean and tidy and didn't leave a mess. A lot of times they had to work with other companies and they worked seamlessly with the gas and electric company. They did a real good job. The last job I had to get a structural engineer who needed to certify the work. They were able to recommend me to a affordable, good guy who came out and got the job done. They professionaly took care of the structural problems of the property.

i.Carolina Foundation Solutions did a good job. The whole process from the initial quote by John Adams to the completion of the job was done professionally. John Adams who gave the quote was knowledgeable and he explained what needed to be done clearly. He followed up when they started the job. When job was not completed on the second day as planned, no payment was given until they returned and finished the job perfectly. Only glitch was that there was a wait of a week to complete the job, but it was worth the wait to have the epoxy completely dry and ready to smooth out.

They did an excellent job. It took them 3 days to do the job. The price was very fair. Everything they did was just excellent.

Carolina foundations came out twice to look at our foundation. recommendations were made the first time at no charge which we immediately implemented. The second time again at no charge we were told to hire an engineer to inspect the problem and for $325.00he stated that it wasn't that bad and nothing was done. After all that we paid Lowe's installers over $1400.00 to level our floor before they could install a laminate floor over our concrete foundation. we still have cracks in the ceiling, a sagging and dropping floor in our dining room, the laminate has been removed and we are waiting to have it reinstalled when the moisture level goes down and a townhouse that we couldn't sell if we wanted to. They basically didn't help us in any way, we still have problems with no solutions and we are walking on concrete and it's been over 3 months of frustration.

They arrived when scheduled and worked hard to complete the job in one afternoon. They were very professional and did an excellent job.

After doing a thorough analysis of our house, John was honest with me and told me he didn't think we had a foundation problem even though we were seeing all the other signs. He explained to me that the floorboards were firm and how he could tell they had not moved at all. He recommended we get an independent opinion from a highly recommended engineer in the area (Bruce Raymond with Raymond Engineering). We had Bruce come out and he also conducted a very thorough analysis of our house, crawlspace, soil, etc. He concluded that our home was on expandable clay and we were seeing so much movement due to the recent droughts and the type of soil in the Piedmont region in general. He took multiple photos and wrote up a document that explained why our home was structurally solid. Thanks John for giving an honest assessment and recommending Bruce. We had 3 other foundation repair companies come out (who had A Angies list ratings) and all of them told us we definitely had a foundation issue and gave us quotes ranging from $1,500-$6,000. I'm very glad we got in contact with Carolina Foundation Solutions.

John Adams of Carolina Foundations came out to give an estimate on foundation repair. He gave us an estimate of the cost to use helical piers to stabilize a portion of our foundation and also spent some time looking at the cracks and structure of our house in the crawlspace. In the end he suggested we monitor the situation longer before doing the work. His advice was similar to what a structural engineer suggested so I think he made a good, honest assessment. What I liked about his analysis was he actually provided a lot more insight into the problem we were having than the engineer and advice on how to monitor the situation. He was also honest about not recommending a solution that would cost us a lot of money but that was not necessarily needed.

They were very easy to work with, in terms of scheduling. They accommodated my request to have them schedule directly with and coordinate with the contractor performing the drainage fix. I was very pleased about that. They also made their own arrangements to have a HVAC contractor remove and later replace the gas water heater, so it wouldn't be damaged. The day of the work, the crew suffered a flat tire and were delayed arriving by 2.5 hours. They worked diligently and got the project complete by the end of the day, as promised. I'm giving them a B on Quality and Professionalism for 3 reasons: (1) the garage pad was elevated as desired, but is slightly uneven. I was not informed this could happen. (2) The concrete mix splattered the front of the house and 1 shutter, and I had to call them to come back and scrape it off the next day. (3) One of the guys on the job showed a lack of professionalism by hocking and spitting on my driveway while we were standing within 3 ft of each other, talking. I called him on it, and he said it was no big deal because they have to hose off the driveway anyway -- missing the point. I will say that the owner and office manager responded very well to my complaints when I called them. Sent the crew over the next day to scrap the concrete,etc.

Cleaned up fairly well. Left some work for me to landscape but they did as the proposal stated. Make sure you understand the type of work they do will require excavation in the footing which requires the home owner to incur the cost of landscape repair. But on the plus side, because they only installed the necessary minipiles, they did not damage as much as another proposal (competitor) would have. Excellent experience because they solved the problem.

From the onset Ken Mayo @ Carolina Foundation Solutions was upfront about everything. The cost, "what to expect", work ethic, puctuality, and response time were just as I was told by Ken. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to do business with

I thought that they were good. They were on time, professional and competitive in their pricing. I talked to a number of companies and they came in number two out of all of them I talked to.

Unfortunately they were only able to move the chimney about 1/2 inch of the original 5+ inches it had moved over time. And to their credit they told us in advance this was possible. My warning is less about Carolina Foundations Specialists and more about fixing chimneys. We spent a lot of money to get a guarantee if will never move again - hopefully it won't.

Chris came to the house and gave a estimate. Office lined up a work date. Crew showed up and did the work.

I am getting estimates from other companies. If he didn't want the job it would have been better to say so instead of leading me on causing me to lose time.

I'm well-satisfied with the job they were hired to do, but huge problems arose when they unknowingly drilled into my sewer line, collapsing it and causing raw sewage to flood my basement days later. They refuse to accept responsibility for what eventually cost me $2,631 to repair. It's come down to a dispute over whether I should have hired a sewer line locater service once it was determined the water line to my house was in the vicinity of their work. But my wife offered to hire the locater service when the job foreman informed her of the water line and he declined, telling her he thought they'd be okay! Therefore, we feel they waived any liability limitations in their contract and assumed the responsibility for any consequences of going forward. We certainly felt entitled to rely on the experience and expertise of the job foreman, but had to pay for his error in judgment! (BTW, the sewer line was directly beneath the water line, about 7 or 8 inches below.)

BEFORE GIVING US AN ESTIMATE, THEY RECOMMENDED WE MONITOR THE CRACKS BEFORE INSTALLING THE PIERS. THIS WAS HELPFUL TO US BECAUSE THE CRACKS COULD BE TO REGULAR SETTLING. HE EVEN RECOMMENDED US TO GET CRACK MONITORS. HE WAS MORE ABOUT HELPING US OUT THAN MAKING A BUCK. WE TRUSTED HIS OPINION, AND WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS KNOWLEDGE.

I believe they did a great job but they didn't give us same names of people who could fix the mortar as we requested.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE ATTENTION AND ADVICE WE WERE GIVEN.

REPRESENTATIVE WAS PROMPT AND POLITE. TO THEIR CREDIT, THEY DETERMINED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. I WAS AFRAID I WOULD BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF SINCE I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FOUNDATION REPAIR. IF I EVER NEED THAT TYPE OF SERVICE, I WILL CALL THEM AGAIN.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK, THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT CAME OUT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NICE. IT WAS NICE WORKING WITH THEM AND IT WAS GREAT THAT THEY HONORED A WARRANTY ON WORK PERFORMED BY A COMPANY THAT THEY BOUGHT OUT.

JOHN, THE CREW LEADER, WAS AN EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR AND ALWAYS PLEASANT. WORK WAS COMPLETED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE.
