Description of Work: A/C check, tune up. All went well, representative was on time and did a thorough job testing system parameters and cleaning coil.

Description of Work: The provider refused to service my home because of location for the deal price even though we are in the advertised area. Our credit card was charged and took several days to be approved by angie's List for the refund.

Description of Work: Custom Air did routine maintenance on my two HVAC systems. Custom Air installed both of my systems for my home. I have been very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: He found a problem in one unit where mice had chewed almost through the wires. (A corpse was still there.) The part was replaced, so I avoided an emergency call at a later date.

Description of Work: Well showed on time and I think he did the cleaning he said; however, he showed me 2 parts that he a said needed to be replaced... And the price he came up with was of the top of his head... He then proceeded to do the work which seemed to take 15 minutes which is why I don't believe he did... When he presented me with a receipt and asked for payment the parts were not itemized the labor was not either there was no tax included and i felt completely or lied to and taken advantage of... It felt like I was being singled out for using an Amazon local deal... The price I was charged was the price he came up with of the top of his head earlier... I looked up the cost of the parts on the Home Depot website end they were only together about $30... so in all it cost me almost $400 for a $38 visit to clean Antoon up my AC unithe didn't even look under the stairwell where the other half of the unit was end said all will get around to that when we come back in the fall....

Description of Work: They did a complete check of our air conditioning and furnace system. It went well but since it's so old and is pulling crazy amperage they recommend replacing the system. We're thinking about it.

Description of Work: I purchased a 20-Point Air-Conditioning Tune-Up. The tech was courteous but seemed a bit rushed. He didn't take the time to explain much. I can't really verify that he did the entire 20 point tune-up because he was in and out so quickly. He did alert me to the fact that our compressor was drawing more amps than it should.

Description of Work: Byron and David installed a new heat pump; working non stop for 5 hours. They were very efficient and knowledgeable.I couldn't have had more professional employees.I have already recommended Custom Air to several friends.

Description of Work: I am a retired widow and did not realize batteries were dead in thermostat. He put in new batteries, checked and removed old filter and provided specifications for buying and replacing filter. Also told me if I could not install filter to call the company and he would gladly swing by to do it for me. ( I had rotator cuff repair surgery and still limited with movement in one arm). Purchased the filter and will attempt to install today. If I cannot manage I will certainly give them a call.

Description of Work: They missed their first appointment, and apologized and made the second appointment punctually. I told them there was both an inside and outside unit, the inside in the attic. I asked the renters if they left a chart or report on what they did, which they didn't, and I asked if they went in the attic and he said no, and that the tech said they didn't need to check the inside unit. This has not been my previous experience with anybody doing AC maintenance.
