I've come to Angie's List three times previously for handymen services and been less than impressed. Just when I was about to give up, I saw the Angie's Deal for Rowland's and decided to check them out. Once I saw their work on Tim's Facebook page, I decided to give it one more shot. Tim contacted me the next day and gave me some scheduling options. I bought the supplies and confirmed with Tim the day before he was scheduled to come. He and his employee arrived promptly when he said he would. He even let my dogs sniff him out to make sure he was OK to be in "their house." After going over the list of tasks, they got right to work. I had purchased what I thought was the correct part to fix the toilet, only to find out that the flapper wasn't the problem after all. Since he didn't have the part in his truck, he made a trip to Lowe's to purchase it; however, before he left, he checked to see if there were any other parts that would be needed for thte other tasks. Sure enough, I had forgotten to purchase a piece for one of the shelving units. He also picked that up at Lowe's. All tasks on the list were handled well within the 3 hours they were scheduled to be there, allowing them to do some other repairs that I wasn't expecting. I can't tell you how relieved I am to have my garage in usable shape now and my shower looks 10 times better with the new caulking. I have finally found a reliable handyman and I will definitely be calling him for any home repairs I need in the future.

He was very nice and professional - did everything I asked him to and in bad weather too. He was cheerful and helpful even though it turned out I was way out of his typical service area. Since this was an Angie's List Big Deal, I didn't include my cost since it was not a fair representation of the work performed.

Tim called promptly to make appointment. On appointment date, he called ahead to advise arrival time. Two man team arrived to do the work we had discussed. They finished so quickly, I found other items that needed some attention also. They work quickly -without "cutting corners"- work done right. They are clean & polite. Tim very clear on rates, and explaining how he likes to work. No surprises. Will definitely use Tim Rowland again.

They were thoughtful, hard working, and didn't slack around on the job. I had them doing faucets, lock sets, pactching etc. They were true handymen and did excellent work. They were well equiped and were able to do anything I asked of them and dilligently.

He's great! He saved us a lot of money: I was going to replace a set of attic stairs, and he fixed them. I was able to return to $200 item to pay the deal. He also painted the front door and he did a phenomenal job. We plan on having him back for some insulation work.

Right from the beginning Tim was very thorough. He and Kevin came on time and got right to work. He made what could have been tedious and time-consuming a breeze! I even had him come back that same day because I forgot a repair and he made it happen! Great customer service!

With my permission the two-man team showed up early--two hours early--and operated with unbelievable speed and efficiency. They had every part they needed, and the four projects I had planned were done in two hours, so I gave them three more, and they still finished under the allotted time. I hope to use them again and again. I did send them a good description of each planned job, so they could bring the right hardware and equipment, and I cleared the space as much as I could in each work area, but they pitched right in with anything too heavy and educated me on what they were doing and why. It was a happy experience.

This installation went flawless. Rowland's Maintenance and Repair was in and out in 1 day and on the second day came back to clean up. When completed, there were no signs what-so-ever of left over trash or debris. Very quick, clean, and most importantly consistent operation here! Floors looked great and were done just in time for me to begin showcasing the place to potential tenants. The job done here, has allowed me as a landlord to earn more monthly rental income than before. I also want to add that Rowland's also tackled some very small odds and ends for me while onsite that had nothing to do with the flooring job. They did not charge me at all for their assistance and consultation in these areas. Overall great experience here and I've got Rowland's on speed dial for all necessary repair needs!

He was extremely friendly, professional, personable, great with my dog, and willing to do any project I threw at him. The biggest things for me were that he showed up on time and did what he said he was going to do! Two qualities that are extremely hard to find now a days!

Tim was available immediately, was on time and did the repair with professionalism, and it looked as if damage was never there. Replaced broken support beam, applied metal corrugated siding, cemented in post and cleaned up. Looked like no work was done when he left. Did an excellent job! I would highly recommend Tim for any project you have.
