PRO TREE CARE

John and Ross came promptly when they said they would with their machinery and tools. They put down plastic mats to protect the lawn from the track of their tree moving machine (cool piece of equipment) and were able to fit it in our 4 foot wide gate. They were quick, efficient and friendly throughout the entire process. There was never a time I was worried about the operation putting our home in danger (two trees were 80 ft. tall and 20 feet from our home). The trees were removed in pieces and taken to the chipper to be discarded (no mess!). We used the chips to mulch several areas around our home (around raised beds, in a firepit area, etc.) and our neighbors used them for a play area for their kids. We had plenty of chips to do everything we wanted to do with them!When the trees were removed (3 trees total), John used the stump grinder to remove the stump to 6-8 inches below the surface of the ground. JoAfter finishing with the trees John and Ross cleaned up by raking the yard of all sticks and debris. Before putting the equipment away John asked if the job was to my liking, further demonstrating his thorough and detail oriented approach.His quote was very fair and based upon all the glowing reviews from Angie's List, he uses care in all of his jobs. I highly recommend Pro Tree Care and am very happy with the work they did!

Overall it was a great experience. From start to finish we received outstanding service. Walking the property with John was comparable to attending a lecture about trees and tree care. He is probably the best contractor that I have had in my house. He took out the tree in 45 minutes. He charged me $100 for that. I would use him again in the future.

He was the least expensive of the 3 estimates I received and the most professional of the 3 companies. I don't think I've ever seen a service provider who was more professional than him. He kept me posted on when he would be here based on the weather and I always agreed with the decisions he made about coming or not. He was in at 8:30 AM and was out at 2:30 PM. He cut down a humongous pine tree and chipped up all the roots. I'm amazed at how good and thorough of a job he did.

I live in South Florida and have property in Asheville. My tenants informed me that two large trees were dead on the property and large pieces were falling off of one one the trees. I obtained several quotes. However, ProTree ( Mr. Parmenter) was the only company who was able to determine that one of the trees died due to a lightning strike and , therefore, my insurance should cover a portion of the removal, which it did. beat all competitor's prices and did an excellent job!

,We have had two other companies remove trees for us. Both times they were harrowing experiences (hoping that the workers would be safe and would not allow a tree to fall on our house, etc.). Pro Tree care educated us about our trees, the health of each, etc. and removed the selected trees expertly and professionally. Removing trees is costly and this procedure was no exception. Pro Tree Care helped us prioritize which trees really needed to go first.

This company is exceptionally professional. They were very safety conscious, responsive to requests, and did not leave a scrap behind. It was amazing to see how thoroughly the area was cleaned up. They knew just how to tackle the job and were very efficient. I also like the fact that they donate the chips and wood to Warren Wilson College.

The response from the company was very quick from my initial call to when the work was performed. It was done in a professional and timely manner. You can't go wrong using this company.

Couldn't have been better. Excellent work. Very professional. Did everything carefully and safely. Left the yard incredibly clean. If/when I need tree work in the future I will definitely call them again.

Could not have gone better. I called two weeks ago for an estimate. The owner, John Parmenter came the next day and gave me the estimate, then a week later he came with one helper and took down the tree. Not included in the estimate was removal of four smaller trees from behind the house. He did that at no charge. We've lived in the house for 13 years, and I don't believe we've ever had a more professional contractor working here. They had all the correct gear, and worked perfectly as a team. When they left, Tom said "Looks as though we were never here". I said that's not really true. You cleaned the place up far better than it was before you came.

All went well. We were very satisfied.

This was shortly after we moved in and we had a small wood lot in our back yard. They came in and assessed the trees for their health and they found six to ten that needed to be removed due to possible danager to our home or other trees. They removed those trees and not only did an excellent job but they also explained everything to me as to which trees were causing specific problems. It worked out very well and our trees have behaved very well since. They are due to come out again to check to see if we are okay for the upcoming winter. They also chipped the wood on the spot and they took the chips over to Warren Wilson College to use for their own purposes.

It all went very well. It took two men including the owner most of a day to do this job. They were careful, efficient and neat. Everything was cleaned up. We added some pruning that had not been quoted and he added a reasonable price for this.

Free estimate ($1100) was right in line with the competitors. Came while we were at work, left a few feet of the trunk chopped for us to use as firewood. They did snap a grounding cable that was attached to an electricity pole (we assume- it was broken when we got home they day they were there)... and we never heard anything about it.

Absolutely wonderful, professional experience from start to finish. John Parmenter (the owner) showed up on a rainy day to look at our site. He suggested the best way to accomplish our goal at a reasonable cost. He was very low key but informative and helpful. He arrived promptly on the day we scheduled the work along with 2 employees and a full compliment of equipment. The work proceeded without a hitch and he made sure that we were comfortable with what he was doing. We made several suggestions and he was very accommodating. He and his crew maintained steady progress throughout the day and were highly productive. Our site was moderately steep and heavily wooded which presented a challenge at times. They worked for 8 hours and accomplished everything we wanted done. Logging is a dangerous business but John maintained a high level of job site safety. All in all an excellent experience and definitely recommended.

Job went very well. Crew showed up on time. Completed job per our agreement in a timely fashion. Left property in good shape, cleaning up after finishing the job.

He was professional, courteous and above all safe and respectful of our neighbors. John took the additional steps of contacting our neighbors to let them know of the traffic disruption on the day of the work. He arrived on time and finished the job earlier than I would have thought possible.

Great!! John is very knowledgeable about trees and their habits. He can identify most trees and is aware of what ails them. We had to remove two large and several smaller trees. John is insured, his crew is neat and tidy and they worked very, very hard. The job was done with stumps ground and our yard cleaned up.

It went excellent. They were professional. They show up when they say that they are going to. They leave the work site clean. They do a good job in that they do.

They were on time and did a great job for a good price.

Very well. John Parmenter, the proprietor, is very knowledgeable. He gave estimates that were very reasonable (for free) and returned at a later time to do the work. He has done work for a lot of folks in my neighborhood, all of whom are very happy with him.
