Higher Ground Rainwater Systems

Description of Work: The Higher Ground folks repaired a gutter on our garage that had been damaged by a tree falling. They installed some new gutter where the other one was damaged. They also cleaned out our gutters on our house (which was a separate expense, not part of the $200). All went well!

Description of Work: They were here right when they said they would be and cleaned the gutters, inspected gutters and roof for needed repairs. Additional work that needs to be done was quoted at a reasonable price and we will be using this company to do those repairs.

Description of Work: Partial water damage occured to 2 floors of my tri level home. Their knowledge and ability were great drying up those areas. The repairs portion was little disapointing with the carpentry portion. I noticed some things after my final inspection with the contractor/job site manager who by the way was excellent also. He had some things redone. |

Description of Work: I did a more detailed review on this company back when the service was performed which apparently was lost. This is the third request for a review, so I'll send another. The service was done so long ago I can't remember exactly when-probably a year to year and a half ago. I'll do the best I can. This is a quick review. | |I called them in response to an A.L. "Deal" to pressure-wash the siding. but then I learned the cost didn't include the gutters and downspounts. To me this was ridiculous since they are attached. I believe I either negotiated a price for the rest, or they eventually included the gutters in the price. | |This company doesn't believe in mildew-removing chemicals, or even soap because of the "environment". While I understand and agree with the need to protect my landscaping, I believe there must be a middle ground somewhere when a product can be used that will both clean and not hurt the environment, so I will probably look elsewhere next time. | |The owner sent two young men to do the work later in the day after the first appointment wasn't kept. The men were polite, and did the whole outer house, but left my yard a mess because none of the lawn furniture, grill etc that was moved wasn't replaced. I was nearly blocked from getting to my deck because furniture was pressed against the door. I think they helped return some of the furniture, but it was getting late, and it was obvious the guys wanted to leave so I told them they could and finished the work myself. | |Personally, I would seek out another company the next time, (which by the way), will be soon. Mildew stains on the north side of the house have returned. |

We live outside the Asheville area in Greene County, TN and were having trouble finding gutters in the style we wanted. Jim is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and found the style and color of gutters we wanted at a very reasonable price. The crew installed the gutters neatly and professionally in just one day. Couldn't be happier with the service or the product.
