Excellent. The two guys they sent out were very easy to work with and did the job very professionally. I decided to have then do the drain in the backyard done while they were here. They gave me an estimate and completed the work in the afternoon. Walt came out the week before to give me an estimate for the initial work. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He gave me options. A pleasure to work with. This is the second time I used Higher Ground. They came out last year and did similar work. I highly recommend them. They propose solutions that are effective and reasonable.

There were a few obstacles to the extension. We worked together to find a good solution. They did a very good job and were pleasant to work with.

The employee arrived when he was expected. After we discussed the purpose of the appointment, he said the roof was too wet to apply caulk if it was needed so an additional appointment was needed. The office called to schedule it and the employee actually arrived a few hours early, which was fine with us. A thick layer of caulk was needed as he explained there was a wide gap. Had the caulk not been applied, we may have faced water issues in the house.

Mostly went very well. The gentleman who came out to do the initial estimate and evaluation was extremely pleasant and professional and gave me lots of helpful advice. Took a little while to hear back via email, when I had some follow up questions. Very nice folks who take calls in the office. I did not get a call or email from the office, however, letting me know the day the crew was coming out. Thank goodness I happened to be at home so I could run out an extension cord for their power tools. Some confusion in the office - I accepted the full, original bid to replace both gutters and guards but the crew came not knowing they were doing guards, as well. Thankfully, they had enough stock in the truck and were able to do it. The installation crew was pleasant and professional. They did forget to remove two old lengths of gutter still attached to the siding and also forgot to put up the spill over guards. I had to call back and ask them to please come out one more time to do that, before I was comfortable paying the invoice. The bid was significantly higher than the competition but .... the one year guarantee on labor/installation and the 5 year guarantee on materials was important to me. Plus, the nice, detailed, straightforward conversation I had initially with Mr. Childs, who directs the Asheville branch.

Crew arrived promptly and worked efficiently. They were amiable and courteous. Left nothing undone.

Professional , they are skilled with repelling with ropes and have no problems climbing right up to the top of your roof. They delivered on time, they can just about fix everything.

We got what we paid for I guess. The cost covered what he did. He didn't go out his way and obviously we still have a leak. I expected a little more than just spraying something on. My son was real impressed with the way he acted. It would have been nice if the leaks were totally done but it did.

I called them and Walt came out to give me an estimate. He was conservative in his approach. He was not trying to fix things that were not a problem. He sent me an estimate. I called him back to give me an estimate for the other side of the house. Once I received the total estimate, I asked them to proceed. It took a while for them to schedule me, probably because of the rain. The communication during the scheduling process could have been better. The crew spent most of the day here. They were very professional and helpful. They explained all what they were doing and were responsive to my concerns.

The guys promised me a time they would be at my house and they were on time. They called in advance to let me know they were on the way. They did an excellent job and were very fast. They cleaned up all the debris and left nothing on the ground. I was very pleased with their work.

Walt was a pleasure to work with. We had water in our crawl space when it rained. He came out and diagnosed the problem right away. They came out and completed the job quicker than promised. We had no water in the crawl space during the recent heavy rain that lasted several days.

Excellent! Billy and Chad arrived on time, and without getting lost. Despite the overcast skies, they were careful to inspect and found the causes of my roof leaks and took care of them quickly, and informed me of the issues they addressed. They are very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend Higher Ground's services if you have a need they can fulfill.

The representative was prompt and responsive. He made recommendations that the installers were able to complete and thus solved my overflowing gutter issues. The company followed up with a call to determine satisfaction. I highly recommend this company.

Had a pleasant experience. The quoting process went well. Higher Ground even checked back with me to verify that I had received the quote and to determine what our decision was. We were originally going to go with another company before finding out that the other company quoted on the wrong product. Higher Ground got the job. Walt came out one last time to be sure we picked the color gutter that would go with our final paint choice. Tear-down happened when I wasn't home to observe. Crew was to remove and take away the old gutters. Initially it looked like they had done a great job, but after walking it, we found several gutter spikes and hardware still in the house that we removed before the house was painted. They'd also missed part of one downspout. After our house was painted, Higher Ground returned to install and they were done amazingly fast. They took away that forgotten downspout and left the yard looking good. Laura made sure to contact me when they were sending me the invoice and made sure I knew the several different ways to settle my account. We are really happy with the look of the gutters...now I actually am hoping for a little rain to be sure that they're working properly!

Excellent! I wish I'd had this done months ago. The windows sparkle. It took a 16-foot stepladder to change the track lights, and the workers were very careful in setting up and taking down the ladder. They were prompt and very professional. The person doing the estimate prior to the service was careful to listen to what I wanted done, and the final bill was exactly what he quoted me.

Went fine. Thought price was rather high for the work performed.

The Regional Manager came to our house on May 4, 2015, inspected and measured the gutters, and discussed a plan to correct our problem, which was that the gutters regularly overflowed, came loose from the house and were difficult to clean because of the steep pitch of our roof. He was knowledgable, friendly and professional. He sent an estimate of the cost the same afternoon. After we decided to proceed with the work, the Sales Administration Manager scheduled us for the following Tuesday, May 12. The installers were punctual, friendly and professional, finished the work in approximately 90 minutes, took all the refuse with them, and even got a blower out to clean up the dirt that had fallen from the old gutters while they were working. The was a great transaction for us, and I highly recommend this company.

After a not very pleasant experience with another gutter company (also on Angie's List) last year, I called Higher Ground on the recommendation of a neighbor. Mike & Billy came out to clean out the gutters and install Micro-Mesh Poly-coated steel gutter guards. I have a very tall house with a steep metal roof, but it didn't bother them. They were punctual, efficient, and cleaned up all debris and blew off driveway and walkway when it was finished. That was not expected but appreciated. I plan to use them every year. Higher Ground has a very polite and professional crew and office staff.
