Five Step Carpet Care performed a miracle! We bought a house with a filthy off-white color wall to wall carpet. We had little hope the extreme stains could be removed. After the work was done (and it was done very quickly) the stains were completely gone and the carpet looked brand new. Even the carpet on the stairs looked new. We also had them clean two fine Oriental rugs. One was cleaned at our house and the other at their location. The rugs were cleaned to perfection and with much care. The colors are brilliant, again. Scott performed the work quickly and with much care and diligence. They were very prompt. Their green products were odorless and everything was dry in less than 3 hours. We will use them, again, to clean more Oriental rugs very soon and have already referred them to a neighbor. She was as pleased as we are. This business deserves an A+ I arranged to drop off the rugs the day after I called. The rugs were each pretty soiled by foot traffic at one end and special attention was paid to that area, particularly the fringe. Father and son greeted me when I picked up the rugs a few days later all clean and dry and actually gave me some leads on getting a sofa reupholstered! I'm guessing that because their cleaning process is done without harsh chemicals, my cat Choklet has taken over a corner of the small rug not under a side table as her comfy place. The video on their website is interesting and informative. Thanks Angie's List for helping me find this company and the 10% coupon was an added plus.

I chose to deliver and pick up my rug to save that fee. The times were determined by telephone calls. Very pleasant. The result of the cleaning was excellent with no remaining smell or mildew. The rug was ready at the designated time. The 10% discount for being a member of Angie's List was helpful.

We were looking for an ecologically friendly carpet cleaning service to do a thorough job before we settled into our new house and found Five Step Carpet Care who did a great job preparing our home for the move in. They also cleaned an oriental area rug for us. We later needed an emergency clean-up after our cat left some urine on a carpet and did not hesitate to contact Five Step again. Scott Finney and his team are friendly, efficient and affordable and we highly recommend them for any and all your carpet cleaning needs.

I highly reccommend their services and will surely call them again. They were efficient and professional. All the carpets and upholstery were vaccumed before cleaning which I have never had a carpetcleaning service do before. They left with everything looking wonderful and clean. Couldn't ask for more.

I contacted Scotty of 5 Step Carpet Care based upon his Angie's List reviews. 5 Step Carpet Care arrived promptly to begin cleaning my downstairs carpeting and upstairs hardwood floors. He and his son were able to remove pet stains that I thought had ruined the carpeting. Upon completion of the job, the carpets looked new and the hardwoods had never looked better. I was particularly impressed that the pet stains were removed. I had thought I would need to buy new carpeting. 5 Step Carpet Care is a professionally run and responsive company. I will use them again when the time comes.

I had a badly stained carpet. It had lots of coffee and mud and some dog messes in its history. They did a beautiful job getting everything clean and in a very timely manner.

Scotty and his crew came in and looked over our home and told us in detail what they would do and how they would handle everything. On the day of the service they came out and they carefully moved all the furniture as needed, cleaned the carpet and then replaced the item of furniture. After they were done you could hardly tell that any of the furniture was moved at all. Or that anyone had even been there. On another occasion we had a flood from a foundation leak which ruined all of our carpet, or at least we thought. I called Scotty right away and asked if he could help. We pulled our new carpet up that was soaked with red clay mud from the foundation leak which flooded our home. The guys from Five Step Carpet came out and took our virtually brand new carpet to their shop and cleaned them and dried them. The carpet installers thought we had bought brand new carpet and was amazed when we told them that we had just had it cleaned. I have used Scott and his crew from Five Step on multiple occasions and will always use them. They are top notch and they do not try to sell you on things that you simply do not need.

I am very chemically sensitive and i am also allergic to most fragrances. I spoke with the owner about my issues and he assured me it would not be a problem. They did a wonderful job, and absolutely no chemical or fragrance at all. We are thrilled to have found this company. We had put off getting the rugs cleaned for fear of the chemicals. Now we can get them done as often as they need it. They were very friendly and kind, really gave you the feeling of competence. When they delivered the rugs, they laid them under all the furniture as they were originally. Very efficient. Very well done.
