Description of Work: Asked for complete check of cooling system and repair of leaking condensate in the crawl space. Ben arrived on time, checked the system, replaced the capacitor on indoor blower motor and added refrigerant. He said that the condensate leak could not be repaired because it was from rusted coils which were part of the furnace. I signed a one year maintenance/tune-up agreement.I called the company for a second opinion regarding the leaking coils, which they readily agreed to and sent Tim out a week later. He said they could build a tray to catch the water and pump it to the outside, which they did, and to their credit, finished it the next day. The pump was also replaced. There were problems with the quality of work, discovered within a week of their departure:1. Ben's check of the cooling system failed to find an existing separation in the air duct, into which there are signs that an animal has entered and built a nest using nearby crawl space insulation. This problem was not only evident in the crawl space, but also in the vents, where insulation pieces were present.2. Not such a serious problem, but Tim did not dispose of the old pump, but unknown to me at the time, left it in the crawl space. The catch tray that he installed sweats water onto the floor, contributing to the moisture I was trying to remove. To their credit, the company showed a willingness to offer a second opinion on the condensate leak, but I would hesitate to use them again unless I could be sure that they could send someone who was more experienced and thorough.

Description of Work: SPLENDID service. They worked with us tirelessly as our schedule continued to change; the day of service, they were running behind with a longer previous call and kept us updated as to their estimated time of arrival – accurate, as it turns out. Their service technician, Ben, could not have been better. He was quick, courteous, knowledgeable. No hidden charges, no sales jobs – just good, good service. To sum up: as a previous reviewer wrote, they are a bit pricey – but worth it.

Description of Work: Routine maintenance check of furnace

Description of Work: In response to poor air conditioning performance, technician found that coils were frozen. After coils were defrosted(next day) technician found leak in a fitting. Leak was repaired and 13 lbs of R22 Freon were added following evacuation of the lines.

Description of Work: The technician had years of experience, wa polite and professional. There was a mix-up in the office, making the appointment, which was a hassle for me. The office staff seemed disorganized and unreliable, my appointment had to be re-scheduled due to their lack of follow through. I had my heat pump checked, that was all.
