Description of Work: I bought specific hardwood flooring to match what was already in my home, which I had purchased 11 years ago. They found the same company and exact same wood as I had; the order was ready in less than a week. They were very easy to work with.

Description of Work: Refinished floors within an older home

Description of Work: the provider's spokesperson, Eric N. decided to pull the quote and not do business with my husband and me. Eric came to the house in early April. He was prompt but a little too familiar for a first time sales visit. We rec'd our quote(est $2700) in about a week and we decided to negotiate by eliminating 2 bathrooms from the quote and we(not Blue Ridge) would move all the furniture and leave the appliances as is. We also requested that the travel cost be eliminated.. Eric came back with a revised quote of approx. $1900+. I told Eric that they could have our business for $1800. He said he would think about it and then he came back agreeing to the $1800 provided we would do any touch up baseboard painting(pre-taping and touch up painting was est at $42).I e-mailed Eric indicating that I would split the difference. we would take care of any painting and Blue Ridge would be responsible for taping meaning we would split the difference of $42. We would pay $21 bringing our cost to $1822. Eric sent a curt e-mail to me a day later indicating that Blue Ridge did not want to do business with us.

Description of Work: everything that was asked

Description of Work: Sanded and refinished hardwood floors in kitchen and removed bad paint from screened porch floors and finished with a pigmented stain. Overall a wonderful job.

Description of Work: Sanded, stained and applied two coats of polyurethane to a very aged and worn kitchen floor. They took great care in trying to match the stain color in the other rooms of the house, and there efforts worked. These people are very professional.
