Best Roofing Company

Of the 4 or 5 roofing companies that responded, Best Roofing was the most thorough and professional. Shane, part owner, took 2 hours on the initial visit to inspect our large old home's roof and explain the options, including the various brands and prices of shingles. His areal views done via drone helped him see some difficult areas around the chimney valleys that were missed by other bidders. Those other companies generally took only about 10-20 minutes; most simply did a "ground inspection," and had little or no discussion with me before bidding. Best's total price was also below most others. Their crew was fast, efficient, and polite. Done with tear-off and replacement in 3 days despite some dicey weather. We had quite a mess after tear-off but everything was clean and back to normal by day 3. Replaced rotten decking and beams. A supervisor made the final inspection with me and corrected some minor items the same day.

Even though it was only for porches, you expect that the new roof will not leak. Well, it does, in one place it did not leak before. I am disappointed.

Though it took a while for them to schedule it, the work was very quick and thorough. The roof is fixed and new shingles where they were asked to. I will probably go with them again when I am ready to have the complete roof done. One good thing, the final payment is less then expected. That is always nice!

Charge $250 to come out and do an estimate. I am working with my insurance and need to provide multiple quotes. Everyplace else I have called is willing to do free estimates. This is not a good business practice.

they were great. my neighbor recommended them to me and I recommend them strongly. having a new roof put on is kind of stressful, but they made me feel comfortable with the whole process.

After getting quotes from several companies in our area we chose Best Roofing for a complete roof replacement on our home. Our experience with the company was outstanding. Their representative was here within 48 hours of our initial contact, performed a thorough inspection, and made temporary repairs to resolve leaks in two locations in the existing roof. He gave a clear explanation of his recommendations for a new roof and left plenty of information for us to consider. We received a quote for the work on the next business day. Once we signed the contract, the work was scheduled in a very reasonable time based on bids from other companies. The 4-person crew arrived on time on the scheduled day and worked very hard for the next 2 ½ days, despite very windy and cold conditions for the tear-off of the old roof on day one. The weather improved the next day and was fine for the installation of the new roof. Tyler, the project manager, was a “hands-on” manager and did an excellent job keeping us informed. The final job looks great and site clean-up was excellent. The ability of this company to write a GAF “Golden Pledge” warranty was a key factor in our decision to select them, and we would highly recommend them.

They charge $250 to provide an estimate which goes against the first hour.

Best's quote was the middle of the three that I got. It was clearly presented and included a reassuring level of attention to detail. Their pre-contract communication was far and away the best of the three companies, so I was happy to pay more than the lowest quote. Scheduling was challenged by ice, snow, and bitter cold weather, but the work was done promptly once weather permitted. The supervisor was really easy to work with and more accommodating and respectful than anyone I have ever dealt with in the construction business. This is high praise from someone who is old as dirt and has built more than a dozen homes. One of the office folks was out sick so communication after the work was finished were less prompt and clear than before, but the questions I had were resolved quickly once Shane, the owner, was made aware of them.

Best Roofing Company lived up to their name for me. I needed to have the ridge vent on my house replaced, I called another company and when they arrived (late) they diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote without ever getting on the roof to take a close look. I called Best Roofing Company to get a second opinion and when their roofers arrived (right on time) they climbed onto my, very steep, roof and took a close look. They agreed that the ridge vent needed replacing, and put in some temporary safeguards (at no additional charge) until the vent could be replaced. To top it all off, their quote came $1,100 dollars cheaper than what the other guys quoted. The vent has now been replaced, and looks great. To sum up: Their roofers were punctual, professional, and efficient. The office staff was always responsive and easy to deal with. I found their price exceedingly fair. I wouldn't go with anyone else.

Shane came out for the estimate and spent about an hour with me going over all of my options and the small details. I needed some structural work done and they were the only ones that were willing to do it themselves rather than have me find a contractor and try to line up schedules. You can tell Shane truly cares about the customer. He even line items out the bill which is nice so you know exactly what you're paying for. Tyler and crew did a great job over the course of three days. They tore off three layers of shingles, repaired a sagging rafter, installed an attic fan, replaced some damaged boards, and put the roof back on. Eddie and the gutter guys came out a few days later an installed the gutters. The cost for the gutters were literally half of what everyone else quoted me. Everything looks great. The only minor complaint I have is that I've found about 20 nails, and my puppy has found about 10 more on the ground around the house. Regardless I wouldn't hesitate to hire Best Roofing again. I recommend them.

Great! At first when I spoke with them they said I would be on a waiting list but if they could get someone over in between jobs they would. They came like the next day and fixed it within 10 minutes. I am very happy with their work. It was also very reasonable. Everyone was very polite from the office staff to the roofers.

Shane came to the house to look over the work at the time he said he would. He brought a helper with him and together they took detailed measurements and also used a drone to take pictures of the roof. After we agreed to the price and terms, someone from the office came to the house with samples so that I could choose the color that best suited the existing color scheme of the house. The crew arrived when they said they would and got right to work. Each day everything was cleaned up and the waste put in a dumpster. The crew leader Joshua couldn't have been more professional or willing to do what it took to make sure I was happy with the work as it progressed. Joshua asked me how late I felt comfortable with the crew staying. When I gave him that time, the crew stayed each day until that time and never later. When I had a question either Joshua or one of the other crew members was there to answer the question. They kept me well informed about how the work was progressing, what they were finding as far as the decking went and in general were great communicators. The entire crew was courteous and very very professional. I had high expectations for Best Roofing given the other reviews I had read before choosing them. Best Roofing exceeded all of my expectations in every aspect of my dealings with them. That is hard to do with me and they did it! I highly recommend Best Roofing and will use them again should I need roofing work again.

It went great..they have a hard working crew who knew their job very well. The job Forman gave us updates on what was happening as they progressed. They cleaned up everything very well as they went and when they were done. The roof looks awesome! Would recommend Best Roofing to anyone.

I actually didn't have a good experience with them. The installation was done wrong. I had to personally called them out for the incorrect installation, to get it fixed. I actually had to research it myself, and read the manual, and he didn't follow the manual. I had to spend my own time, to figure out the job. I paid for the job, and shouldn't have to do my own work.

I would give the owner an A and the employees a B for professionalism. I think the price was high, the other thing that troubled me the most was it rained in the middle of the job and they didn't tarp the roof.

When I settled on Best Roofing Company they informed me that half of the cost would be upfront and half after the job was complete. I thought this was high, I was thinking a 10% deposit or $1,000 down. After the deposit it was 3 weeks before they could start the roof. When they started, they were there and working at 8 a.m. everyday. They would work until 5 p.m. everyday. It took a total of 4 days to complete and I am very happy with the result. The dumpster was delivered on the first day and removed on the last day with no leftover debris or trash. I have not encountered any stray nails or experienced any leaks.

Everything went very well. The men were professional and all the work was done in two day. Working with Best Roofing is a pleasure .

Overall experience was first-rate. The walk-through of project steps and materials during the proposal meeting was the best of three contractors being considered. Project scheduling and price were both better than the competition. The work crew was on site, ready to work every day by 8 A.M. The supervisor kept me informed on progress and issues that arose. Excellent communications (quick responses) with office and supervisor. Workmanship looks excellent. I would recommend Best Roofing be considered for your home re-roofing needs.

The experience was excellent! I was very satisfied. I called months later after my tire got a nail in it that was left behind. He immediately covered the cost of the tire.

Shane's crew did an outstanding job, they were considerate, professional and paid attention to the small details to include protecting our landscaping and clean up after the job.

The woman who answered the phone said there was an $85 charge for the estimate even though the web site said estimates were free. I challenged her and she was incredibly rude.
