We wanted $200 worth of work for the price of $99 as advertised. Their representative told us that their minimum work price was $400. We subsequently received an estimate for $1,475.

Asheville Arborists came to trim a tree in our front yard whose limbs were hanging into the driveway.We did not know exactly how to do this and we did not want to do anything to damage or kill this beautiful tree. Craig and his crew surveyed and discussed in detail how to cut each branch. Being careful not to cut any branch that Craig said would damage or kill the tree. Then for the tricky part: trim a tree in our backyard that was in a neighbor's yard but it hung over our fence and was a nuisance to us. It was a Willow tree with long tendrils that hung into our yard. UGH! We thought this would be tricky because those neighbors had just moved in the day Asheville Arborists were there. Once again Craig and his crew carefully cut only the affected branches. He even spoke with the neighbor and made sure he was okay with the work. Everything was done, all the mess down to leaves were cleaned up and hauled away. That was in April, now it's June and everything leafed out and looked great. The neighbor's tree is in-check and no damage was done to any trees. Asheville Arborists name may sound expensive but for the quality of the work done and the clean-up, too. Well, it was worth every penny.

It took a while to find a service that we needed and could be done within the budgeted amount. Craig was always professional and courteous. He worked with me to come to evaluate what was needed. He also came out a second time to reevaluate my needs and told me that I did not require treatment at this time for my many hemlocks as was originally contemplated. Since I had been waiting for some time, when we agreed on the work needed, he arranged for it to be done as quickly as possible after that. The tree climber did a fine job of trimming and was asking for my opinion of his work as he went along. Working with this company was a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Their minimum job is $400.00 so that was misleading. They did do the cleanup and they took the wood to a burn pile. They did a good job for the work and I did need more than the advertised $99.00.

Craig came out when he said he would. He did a thorough evaluation of the trees on our land. He reviewed the evaluation with us explaining in detail why he would/would not cut a tree. He gave us a reasonable price. His crew came out when they said they would, did a thorough job. TEHy answered any questions we had, and cleaned up well. They did a great job!

I called the provider who came out to my house and gave me an estimate sometime early last summer. He said he would get back to me in the fall, but he never did. Perhaps he sold a great many of these and was a bit overextended. I have since had the service done by another company. I have no complaints against this provider other than he didn't show up when he said he was going to.

It was fine. They did what I asked them to do. It took them a while to get here but when they finally got here, they did everything they said they would. They cleaned up after themselves. The work they did, they did well.

The job got done, but I felt they should have been more careful in the process. An adjacent healthy maple suffered significant damage, to the extent that I had to decide whether to keep it and hope it might come back or have them cut down what was left of it. A crepe myrtle was damaged in the felling or dragging process of one of the trunks; it was bent over and partially uprooted. Ruts still remain in the front lawn where the trunks landed and were dragged. Maybe the coupon deal overloaded their schedule. I know this is a good company and would consider using them again.

Asheville Arborists did a good job with my tree work when it was finally completed. Trees were felled safely. My job was very small and one of the trees was forgotten and it took weeks for them to return to complete the job. I had to follow up with multiple e-mails and phone calls to have the work completed. While they were very professional and eventually completed the job to my satisfaction, I would not use them again for a small job.

We hired Craig and his crew of Asheville Arborists to take down quite a few trees that were too close to the house, or dying. We were absolutely impressed with their professional work, expertise, total teamwork, and amazing feats of felling trees in exactly the right direction. All the best wood was cut into rounds for us, and they even blew off our roof and deck and the road in front of the house! I Highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again.

This provider was exceptional in all aspects. The job was performed exactly as discussed--- the crew went above and beyond to make sure everything was trimmed and perfectly cleaned up, no debris was left to deal with! I've had tree work completed previously, but this company really is knowledgable and professional.

The provider came out, gave an estimate. There was an immediate need for the service - his schedule was quite full - the projected date of service was too far out.

I never heard from him after calling him three times. I ended up getting a refund.

Provided an on-site evaluation and recommendation. Booked solid for several weeks, but came to remove the trees before they predicted they could. 100-foot-high pine was in the middle of several others. Four experienced, professional arborists arrived, well equipped with tools and vehicles to complete the entire job in a few hours. Went like clockwork. Cleaned up the site, and hauled away everything they removed. Great job!

They did a nice job, were curteous and did a good job of cleaning up.

The guy who came out to look at the trees that I wanted to have removed, he was very personable when we spoke. He also walked around my property and informed me of some other trees that were rotting and falling down soon. I need a lot of trees to be taken down and they quoted me about $3,500.00 - $4,000.00. They have not come out to do the work yet, but they will be out here in a couple of weeks.

Nich and his crew showed up when promised and worked a long hard day to remove all the trees that were threatening my property as well as my neighbor. They used mats on my yard to minimize damage and even called in more help to get the job done in one day. They worked very hard and more important, safely. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them to everyone.

They arrived on time and ready to work. They worked hard, steady and without breaks. They laid the logs down where we wanted them and chipped the wood also in a pile for us. Because of previous heavy rains, the front lawn tore up so they came back and remedied the situation and that was a great plus for me. They were men of their word. I would hire them again without a second thought and would also highly recommend them to anyone needing trees cut down or trimmed. I will use them again for the next few trees we need to cut down for sure.

They did a very skillful and professional job. They were well equipped and knew what they were doing. Both trees were close to our house and they removed them without doing any damage at all.
