Arrived on time. Went straight to work. Completed job quickly. Extremely satisfied with results.

John arrived promptly on time and worked efficiently to clean the areas above. The service was as promised and they even were able to get up a stain that we had been unable to clean ourselves. The carpets dried very quickly and were usable within a few hours of the service. We will call them again when we need them!

Arrived on time. Showed them where cleaning was needed. I had to leave for work but my husband was home and texted me when they left. Both of us were very pleased.

After searching through the Angie's List carpet cleaning companies I settled on Alpha-1 Carpet Cleaning based solely on recommendations by other Angies's List members. My previous experiences with a nationally recognized carpet steam cleaning company had been very disappointing and I was looking for a more professional and better way to clean my wall-to-wall carpet. I was not disappointed! From my first call to their office where I spoke with Sue Gull and learned about their cleaning method to the actual completed job were all exceptional experiences. Sue explained to me the "dry cleaning" method they use and the associated benefits over steam cleaning. I was also pleased with the telephone estimate of $130.00. After speaking with her I decided to take a chance and schedule the appointment to coincide with some other "heavy duty" cleaning I was having done at my home the following month. On the day of the appointment John Gull and his assistant called to let me know they were on their way, arrived at the scheduled time and immediately began evaluating and pre-treating spots on my carpet. I was impressed with the cleaning method they use since it starts with a cleaner that barely wets the carpet and then a series of mop heads do the cleaning. As the mops heads get dirty they are switched out to clean ones. I could actually watch as my carpet got cleaner. All the spots were removed including one in the dining room that had "survived" two previous steam cleaning jobs by another company. The carpet actually smelled clean, was not saturated and did not feel stiff or tacky from cleaning solution residue. Within two hours my carpet was completely dry and I could place my dining room chairs, coffee table, ottoman, etc... back on it without fear of staining. The entire process from beginning to end was done with professionalism, a caring for customer satisfaction and with quality workmanship. The following morning I received a call from Sue to verify that the job was done satisfactorily and to thank me for choosing Alpha-1 Carpet Cleaning. Overall, in my opinion, this is the best carpet cleaning I have had in 25 years of home ownership!

Their friendliness and thoroughness stood out. They reminded us that the carpets were wet. We have tile in the kitchen, and my wife slipped and fell. That was our fault.

From my initial phone conversation with Sue to the completion of the job today, everything was perfect. The price was very fair. I had gotten another estimate for $500 for the same job. After that I called another company from the yellow pages and when I asked why I should use him he said because "I really, really, really need the money". It was at this point that I joined Angies's list and am I glad I did. You steered me right, Angie. I was not home when this job was done, but my husband said the guys were very prompt, professional and polite. We are totally happy with the service and Angie's list. You provide a great, necessary service. Thanks so much.

It went very well. I like that they have a website (looks more professional) & seem technology oriented. Mostly talked with Sue, who has a smart phone, so responsiveness was almost immediate, when she wasn't available either by email or their answering service. That part is great! John actually arrived a few minutes early which was great b/c normally the trades type people I deal with are always late! He & his employee came in and got the job done VERY quickly. They were both super nice & accomodating & allowed me to ask any questions I had in regards to the job. They also pointed out something re: our carpets in relation to our gas logs that I would have certainly never known/noticed (nor did the inspector) so we are going to take that information & remedy it quickly. Being able to accept credit cards even if it was just VISA is extraordinarily helpful in this day and age vs. just check/cash. I will definitely be calling them again to clean the carpets at my old house upon move out and will likely use them to clean my furniture soon thereafter. I wasn't sure what to expect since their method of cleaning is different than the steam cleaners but our carpets look great so I don't question it! :)

They were excellent from start to finish. I received a quick response and quick scheduling. They listened to what I wanted. They were careful, and the carpet dried quickly. There was minimal smell. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Exceptionally pleased with service and professional demeanor. Since it has not dried (work performed this PM) I cannot comment on how well the stains were removed and if they come back. There were old pet stains in each of the rooms and after cleaning today it appeared that the stains were all removed. Although I thought the price was a bit high I have not had this work done in this area before so I have no frame of reference. For the value received, if the spots do not reappear the price was reasonable.

They arrived exactly on time (a rarity in Asheville). Completely professional and polite from start to finish. I have rugs rather than carpeting but I liked the fact that they were not "steamed" with the hose running all through the house. The rugs look like new. Needless to say, I'm pleased with the work.

My husband and I were very pleased with the results. They were on time and professional.
