Description of Work: Peter and Nelly refinished a couch, 3 lounge chairs, 8 dining room chairs and 5 outdoor furniture cushions. He told us 5-6 weeks and in 3 weeks he called and said they were ready. All items looked awesome! We supplied the fabrics and foam.

This was not a particularly difficult job but there are certain things that make a provider good: She answered the phone herself the first time I called. No hearing phone messages. It has become frustrating to get answering machines when you call businesses and they call back at THEIR convenience. This is important and makes the business owner look like they care about their customer. She gave me an estimated price over the phone and when it came time to pay, that was the price. She reacted quickly, doing the job in 2 days. She .was very pleasant. I would use her services again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her.

+ -1 moreNellie was available the day I called to re-upholster a rather large day bed cushion (size of a twin mattress) and 6 big pillows. She gave a tentative price over the phone which increased according to the detail we wanted to achieve. It was more work than she initially anticipated and the price rose a bit but was worth every penny. She finished in a record 4 days but didn't skimp on the detailing. Her work is superb and manner very professional. We are more than pleased with the results and will use her for all our future upholstering needs.
Description of Work: Nellie re-upholstered a very worn looking day bed cushion and 6 large pillows. I provided the material and told her exactly what I wanted. She made a few suggestions that would give the finished product an excellent end result. She is very skilled and for very little cost to me made the day bed look brand new.

+ -1 moreNelly was very professional. She listened to what I wanted. I took her a picture of my sofa and she told me how much fabric to buy. She offered suggestions and was very nice to work with. The sofa is perfect. She did a wonderful job. It is a beautiful custom sofa. Nelly went beyond by adding some padding to make it fuller and fluffier. Her pricing was comparable with other quotes I received. I was very impressed with her ability and professionalism. I AM using Nelly's Upholstery again and would absolutely recommend her.
Description of Work: I had a sofa re-upholstered. Two seat cushions, two back cushions and two throw pillows. We used two fabrics, one for the back and arms and a different one for the cushions and pillows.
