Nelly's Upholstery has the highest ratings in the area and now we know why! The quality of the work is second to none. Pedro was very responsive in phone calls and texts. The work was done within the expected completion window. The price is high, but upholstery generally is. We chose to re-upholster these pieces rather than buy new, because we really liked them. We found the exact fabric we wanted at Nelly's. We will definitely do business with Nelly's again!

This is my third project using Nelly's and once again, it is an excellent job with great customer service. I hated to get rid of perfectly good bar stools just because of wear. Pedro helped me find the right materials and proceeded to recover all four stools in a timely manner. They look great!

Beautifully done and so professional!

Upholstery was fine. Bedding was a duvet cover and shams. A disaster where they ruined 500$ worth of irreplaceable fabric. When I went to pick them up, the seams were raw and fraying and completely unfinished on both the duvet cover and the pillows. The corners of the duvet were bunched up and not even sewn straight. They told me they don’t have a sewing machine that can finish seams. And that they didn’t know what a duvet cover even is. Are you kidding me? I took it home and spent a full day finishing the seams with my $99 Singer sewing machine. Then when I laid out the duvet on the floor, I saw that they had majorly mismatched the repeat on the fabric. No way to fix it since, despite the fact I had left them 25 yards of fabric and a duvet cover takes about half that, they only returned 85” of fabric to me. There must have been mis-cuts wasting my fabric. I spoke to Pedro and this is a quote: “We shouldn’t take on projects we don’t know how to do and we had to learn on someone and I’m sorry it was you.” He then told me he hopes I’ll be back. When pigs fly. BEWARE in case they thinks it’s OK to “learn on you.”

Excellent. The service and workmanship was great. They repaired a wooden leg and did everything in the estimated time. We couldn't be happier with our experience there. We would definitely recommend and use again.

The work was done professionally and efficiently. Not only were the dining room chairs reupholstered but Pedro fixed the joints that were loose. The dining room chairs were done in less than a week. The family room furniture took a bit longer because extra material had to be ordered.

We were very satisfied with the outcome.

I thought about replacing the sofa cushion myself, and then thought better of it. It was in December a couple of weeks before Christmas and I expected Pedro to tell me that I would have to wait until after the holidays, Instead, he told me he would have it ready in a couple of days. I dropped it off on a Friday and picked it up on Monday. I was so pleased with the work and the customer service that I will return when I need more cushions repaired or replaced. Nelly's is not a fancy shop, but the work is good and affordable.

Great! Pedro was wonderful. He had delightful phone personality and made it easy for me to explain what I wanted. He worked us into their schedule in a reasonable amount of time (I think three weeks or so....compared to other local upholsterers which were saying 3 - 6 months). They offered to pick up and deliver the chairs for a reasonable fee (I think around $125 ish). On pick up and delivery day, they were very good at communicating their schedule and any traffic delays so that I wasn't just sitting around wondering. They were also very polite and courteous and respectful of my chairs and my home. After they picked up the chairs, it took about one month for the work. When I inquired about progress during the work, Pedro texted me photos of the chairs. He was as excited as I was about the project, which made it fun. I must say this is likely the best experience and customer service I have had from ANY home improvement project. The price was very competitive. We are thrilled with the results and would not hesitate to enthusiastically recommend Nelly's Upholstery. Thank you so much!

I went to Nelly's to have some cushions recovered and I was absolutely pleased with the staff and with the service. The cushions were so perfect and so beautiful. I have recommended Nelly's to all my family and friends. I will go to Nelly's for all my upholstery needs from here on out. Thank you for such an awesome job!!

Wow these people are absolutely the greatest...beautiful job...very professional and finished before the date given. The chairs were ready sooner than promised and the work was expertly done. The fabric was matched for each seat and the piping was expertly finished. We are one hundred percent satisfied with the work done at Nelly's Upholstery!

They were prompt in what they did. They did exactly what we expected them to do.

They did a good job. part of the foam was not glued properly but that was work done by a 3rd party. They took ownership and glued it for me and sent me home with a can of the glue should it happen again.

This is my third experience with Nelly's Upholstery. It is not possible to rate the shop any less than my highest recommendation. The owners are honest, hard-working, personable, and helpful. It is quite apparent that they have set very high standards for their workmanship. Projects are completed in a very reasonable amount of time, professionally, and with a very high level of craftsmanship. Due to previous experience with this company, I trusted the owners to make some decisions about the finishing of the project. I am quite happy with the results!

An appointment was made for 4:30 pm the day following our call. Nobody showed up or answered the phone when we called them. Pedro finally called at 8 pm that night. We decided to give him another chance and new appointment was made for the next day. Pedro informed us on the phone that the in-house estimate would cost $40. We offered directions but he refused them. When he showed up, even though he had the address and could have looked up the distance, he immediately said that because of the distance he had to travel, the cost of the estimate would be $60. He could not give an estimate for the materials needed for reupholstering, only a broad range. The quote he gave for labor was, in our opinion, very high. When he was asked the cost of pickup and delivery, we were told $300, although he called back on his cell later and said maybe $200. This company is too disorganized and unprofessional for us to trust, especially when Pedro told us how much he enjoyed tearing up our private gravel road with his car. Roberta Gray and Cecil Givens

It went beautifully. Updates were made to the upholstery and I am completely happy with their expertise and customer support! They go the extra mile to make the customer happy.

What a great Find! They did such a great job with very personalized service. They used our fabric (although they could have gotten the fabric for us) which had a complicated pattern and the pattern on the two chairs match perfectly! We've only had the chairs back for a week but the quality of workmanship seems excellent. I highly recommend.

Nelly's Upholstery did a great job. They reworked the sofa a bit to make it more current and did a beautiful job on the upholstery.

Very professional, courteous and brought chairs out f my suv and when finished took hem out to my car. Carefully exclaimed how they would do my chairs. Fnshd my chairs when they promised. This is a thoroughly competent establishment. I have alteady referred people to them and plan on sung them again son for all of my upholstery needs
