I have spoken with the technician concerning your chimney inspection, and as far as we know or can recall it has been 9 months since he was there. I think we had you quoted for a wood stove insert, and we will review that proposal. We would like to keep you as a customer and will do the best we can to make any and all adjustments, to include the price of that install if we possibly can.

Description of Work: I have not had a chance to schedule an appointment . We have had other workmen in our home for the past month doing our wood floor and painting. Will try to schedule the chimney sweep in the near future, when the others have completed their work. Finally was able to schedule Richie Baxley for April 10. He was extremely professional. After using his camera to check the interior of the fireplace and going up on the roof to check the exterior of the fireplace, He told us in detail, using photos of the areas he examined, about a few minor problems with our chimmney, but assured us that nothing needed our immediate attention. He said he would be available to us if and when we chose to address those items. He also removed the ashes from our last fire.

Description of Work: Richie and his helper cleaned the exterior bricks of our chimney that were black, green, moldy, and gunky when we moved into the house a few months ago. There was mortar missing inside the fireplace where the logs are. The entire ntire fireplace and chimney should have had a BEFORE and AFTER photo. They pressure washed the exterior bricks -- wow! they are a beautiful red brick color now, they sealed the bricks to prevent deterioration in the future, replaced the chimney cap with stainless steel, repaired the missing mortar inside the fireplace -- did a wonderful job. They are most pleasant to have around, cleaned up after themselves, and were truly professional. He came recommended and I can see why. Hire him to do your job...He's the B E S T!!!!!! Needs a tutorial in phone manners.
Description of Work: Called company to inquire about services. The person who answered apparently lost patience with my questions and hung up on me. Their basic fee of $175 is comparatively high. I found a different company.
