Felt they did a half-ass job. All the other companies I talked to said the only way to do this job was from both ends, inside and out.

The men that came were quick and professional very polite Which is so refreshing. When I called to schedule I actually hit a real person on the phone and they were professional as well

Not very happy with the service or attention to detail. I was not impressed by the guys who showed up. After the cleaning, unfortunately, used a cheap shop vac in the fireplace, which did not need cleaning, and in doing so blew soot into the whole house. It took several days of running my HVAC just to try and get the gritty taste of soot out of the air and a nightmare getting it off everything in house. Will not be using them again because there was a reason they were the cheapest.

They did a good job

Did not do the work they charged for. The representative was incapable of performing the task. Had to hire another company that did it correctly and professionally.

Pete and the other fellow who came looked and merely confirmed what a previous company had done. They saw nothing else that needed doing. I'd expected a bit more detail in their analysis, but they were pleasant. The five stars isn't applicable since they did no work beyond inspecting.

Quick scheduling and good customer service, but very high price.

I hired Carolina dumpster to come to clean my chimney because it was built up with heavy creosote. The two guys showed up 30 minutes late in a rental van. I showed them the creosote build up in the chimney and then walked off to let them clean. The head gentleman walks up to me 5 minutes later and tells me that it is stage 4 creosote build-up and there is nothing they can do about it but it will be a $175 inspection fee (for 5 minutes of work). I told them if they are going to charge me $175 then I will pay the extra $50 to have them clean it. They went to their rental truck and got out a shop vac, spent 20 minutes cleaning some of the creosote from the immediate chimney opening (not up the flue) and told me that was the best they could do. They charged me $225 and left within 45 minutes of arriving. Would not hire again. How are they a home advisor approved contractor?

Good guys, very attentive and willing to do what it takes

Do not hire this company!!! Only did half the job and refused to finish other half because the job was too high up. The manager is a complete ass when I complained about service he refused to send someone- out to finish the job and refused to take my calls until I told him I will be filing a complaint with BBB. Asshat said he is going to call the BBB.I will be filing a report with the BBB. I hope anyone seeing this takes heed to my warning about this unprofessional company.

Pete did the work and he was very kind and professional. I really appreciate the job he did. Also this company has great communication. This whole process went extremely well. I Highly recommend Carolina Duct masters and would recommend Pete to do the job. Christine

I would give them a perfect rating except I took off work the first day they scheduled with me, but they didn't show. They called at the end of the day to reschedule for two days later.

Austin and Cody did a great job cleaning out our vents we had no idea how bad our ducts were we are breathing much better now and donâ t wake up all stuffy anymore

Crystal did a good job as far as I can tell. I was worried about a puncture in the flex line, but based on what i saw of the small brush, it seems it couldn't cause much if any damage to the lines. She did tell me that much of the dust came from construction and our hardwood floors. As far as the money goes, I now that Stanley Steamer wanted $575 for the job, and that was a $150 more than I paid Ductmasters. Time will tell on whether the job was worth the money, but I think it will be appropriate based on what i saw. Came early to appointment, nice woman.

I hired and paid for an inspection for my homeowners insurance. The paperwork they gave me was unprofessional and in the end not acceptable. I called, emailed and sent the insurance questionnaire. THEY WERE UNRESPONSIVE! I must now hire a professional have redone
