There wasn't a category for cleaning a brick chimney, furnace flue, wood stove chimney and dryer vent cleaning but those are the four different tasks we had Carolina Ductmasters perform. Dwight was the technician that did all of this work for us. He was WONDERFUL to work with and extremely professional. He showed up early, worked quickly, did a very thorough job cleaning and inspecting all four items and even did a smoke test to make sure that everything was working properly. Dwight left no debris after his work and left the work areas as he found them. He even replaced the clothes dryer exhaust tube that was clogged up at no charge. I would hire them again in a heartbeat (and request Dwight) and will add them to my phone book reference as our new chimney sweep. The chimney sweep we had used for 15 years to clean our chimneys couldn't book us for two months and Carolina Ductmasters scheduled us for two days from the day of the estimate. The company responded quickly to my request for an estimate from Home Advisors and Marshall Adams was very patient with all of my phone calls and questions. Don't even think of hiring someone else. Carolina Ductmasters is the best and the most reasonably priced.

They were fast, efficient - on-time. They were neat. I was expecting to have chimney dust all over the house - I didn't get any. They vacuumed as they worked I have a word burning stove and the pipes have to be taken apart in the house! Not an issue! Great service. Very pleased!

tech showed up alone explaining that he would not go on roof without co-worker. I had been VERY SPECIFIC when scheduling that I wanted chimney cleaning & inspection. Did all cleaning from inside house, not on roof. It started sprinkling after he arrived, but stopped shortly. He reluctantly got on roof but it was obvious he was uncomfortable. The missing co-worker was likely the roof man. My husband held the ladder & stayed with him. The tech was very nice and very young. He did the job, but I didn't have much confidence in how well. Called down 4 different measurements for a chimney cap. Now my husband, who is afraid of heights, will have to get up there to double check. I expected more and from a more experienced tech. I could have done what was done. Will call someone else next time who has more experience with chimneys and fireplaces instead if ductwork and dryer vents.

Very professional company

On time. Friendly. Didn't need to be cleaned, yet still charged $100. Should be a different fee schedule for that.

I appreciated that they called me when they were held up in traffic, to let me know they would be late. They were thorough and professional. My only negative comment would be that I thought they should have worn covers on their shoes, and they left dust and dirt on the floor around the vents which I feel that they should have cleaned up.

They were prompt to respond and schedule. They did the work as promised for the agreed upon price. Can't ask for much more.
