I got a call from a knowledgeable lady in under 5 minutes from my computer request for dryer vent cleaning. On the appointed day, two hours prior they asked if they could start an hour early, which I gladly accepted. Professional, clean, explained what they did. Price was at the midpoint of what I expected, the service exceeded what I expected. Wholeheartedly recommend them. And I love these rating services - you can evaluate which companies are good and reward the best companies with your business. Excellent!

Carolina Ductmaster is one of the most professional services I have hired. Our house was sick after having one of our heat/air units replaced as the better airflow blasted junk into the atmosphere making me sick for about two months (turned out to be mold spores). I first talked with a lady at Carolina Ductmasters about cleaning my ducts, and she was very professional and knowledgable. The two gentlemen that actually did the cleaning arrived promptly on time. They were professional and took my concerns into consideration. I did have one problem; however, it was due to a miscommunication. I was concerned about the upstairs ceilings being damaged as we just had new textured ceilings put in last year. They took that into consideration and did most of the cleaning from the attic. However, that evening, we had blowback after the air was turned back on. I called Carolina Ductmasters, and they returned my call immediately the next morning (which was their day off). They promptly came back to my house the next week and removed vents and thoroughly cleaned the ducts again (just 9 of the 26 vents that needed it). While they took my concerns into consideration (as they didn't want to tempt any ceiling damage), it was really my fault for not checking that cleaning was actually complete. They drove 90 minutes each way to fix the problem, and went above and beyond by throwing in a dryer vent cleaning to make up for the miscommunication. I truly appreciate their service and would definitely recommend them.

Dwight and Jason arrived on time, introduced themselves, and went right to work. Once finished, they sat down with me for a moment and asked if there was anything else they could do for me. I highly recommend Carolina Ductmasters for cleaning heating/air conditioning ducts.

When I called and asked for a chimney cleaning and installation of a dryer duct in the crawl space I was quoted a price of 200.00 for the duct and 100.00 for the cleaning. This was 50.00 less than the usual price since they would be at the house anyway. The technician was prompt and friendly but said that the chimney was clean and only charged me 50.00 for an inspection. Curiously the cobwebs in the fireplace are undisturbed. The dryer duct was installed but the technician used flexible hose to connect the dryer to the duct without asking what I wanted. When I asked about the flexible hose he said that he would have to cut into the foundation to install a duct. I wish that he had asked me because I specifically wanted this done. He could have told me what it would cost and if it required a return trip but he assumed that I did not want this. He charged me 300.00 for the duct without further explanation in the increase in price. All said the duct works well and I am happy with this part of the project but I am now looking for someone else to install the duct from the dryer to the duct under the house. I'm not sure if I trust the chimney inspection.

The Tech was prompt! He completed the job in the time agreed too. Something that is rare these days. I will be using them on a reg. basis to have my dryer vent cleaned yearly. Excellent Tech. and prompt service. I noticed a difference right away!
