We are so happy with the outcome of our new windows and wrapped trim from Masterpiece Windows. We had used another company a few years ago for a handful of windows, and while we were pleased with the windows themselves, the installation was a nightmare. They were not level and had gaps and were not wrapped properly. They came back out and re-installed them to be more level, but it still was a very slapshod job. When we were finally ready to do the rest of the window replacement that our house badly needed I read many, many reviews and finally decided upon Masterpiece Windows and my only regret is we didn't find them to begin with. George is excellent at getting you set up with what you want and need and showing you the quality of the windows they provide. They are one of the few companies that provide windows made in the USA and the quality of these windows is unbelievable. And amazingly, George can provide the high quality and keep the price comparable to what the mediocre, middle of the road companies charge. When it comes to the install, Avery and his team are fast, efficient and professional. My husband was in construction for about 10 years and is very, very picky when it comes to finish work. He was so impressed with the skill Avery used to bend the aluminum trim to wrap the windows, he just could not believe the speed and skill that Avery possesses. Thank you George and Avery and team for a beautiful job at a very reasonable price!

This was a great service! The installers were consummate professionals: had years of experience, were punctual and efficient, and did fantastic work! I'd recommend using Masterpiece Windows for any window or door project! They arrived on time and the whole process from arrival to departure took about five hours. What a wonderful experience. This company is top notch. We were able to get 28 replacement windows custom made for just under $13K. The installation was separate. Best price and quality around. The project went smoothly from estimate through installation and cleanup. The windows provided were very high quality at a very reasonable price including installation. George, the owner, explained the features of the windows thoroughly and answered all my questions my satisfaction. He was courteous, flexible to my needs, available to me throughout the project and always punctual. Likewise Avery and his installation crew were punctual, courteous, skilled and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. It was a real pleasure working with Masterpiece. I would recommend them highly and would go with no other contractor should I decide to replace additional windows or doors. My hat's off to Masterpiece.

Masterpiece windows was nothing short of excellent. The owner and only salesperson George is engaging, honest, fair and above all 100% focused on his customers. George spent several hours on a Friday night explaining the features, quality and value of the Simonton windows (Made in the USA) which he sells. He fully explained his sales model and the options to buy 1 or as many windows as we wanted. He did not try and sell me or my wife on anything simply showing why the windows he sells were the best value and why there were certain features he was unwilling to sell the windows without even if it meant they cost a little more. Through all of this process I truly felt like George had our best interest at heart. Once we went through all the measurements and George fully detailed the cost for every window in our home we settled on a little more than half of our home's windows (all of which needed replacing) that we could afford for this year. It took just a few short weeks for George to get his installer Avery over to re-measure, check every window, order from Simonton and get them delivered. Avery and his installation team were also nothing short of excellent. Avery works with a small crew of other experienced gentlemen. Unlike other businesses that send 1 person to your house to measure and review who has a lot of experience then during installation time a totally different crew shows up Avery is there every second of the job. Like George, Avery and his team were honest, professional and 100% customer satisfaction focused. They all arrived early on the day of installation, were friendly, worked hard and did impeccable work. They cleaned up after themselves as they went and installed every window perfectly. They even went so far as to install all the new blinds we purchased for us for free. I cannot say enough about what a pleasure Avery and his team were to have at the house and the work they did was second to none. On the second day of the installation work George came back to our house to review everything with us. Again he was so pleasant to have over it felt like a family member was visiting. George sat at our kitchen table with our 3 girls and drew special pictures for each of them (they were all excellent, he missed his calling as an artist) talking to them like they were his own grandchildren. I cannot recommend Masterpiece windows highly enough. My wife and I are thrilled with our new windows and in just a few short months have already noticed the difference in not only how much better our home looks but in how much better they are doing at insulating the house. Don't let anyone else sell you windows until you have called George at Masterpiece Windows and invited him over to show you what honesty, integrity and great customer service really look like.

Very professional and very fair on prices. Good guidance on design and window specs. Installation was top notch. Follow up on satisfaction was detailed and professional.. Also finished a window started by a big box installer that was poor quality work. Highly recommend and will use them again when we do the total house.

George is extremely courteous and the pricing is absolutely the best in the area. Avery and his crew installed 11 windows in just one day. They took down and re-hung all window treatments, so there was no prep on our end at all. We'll definitely hire Masterpiece to complete the windows on our house.

Masterpiece did an amazing job with the installation of all my windows including replacing rotten wood trim and wrapping everything. The price is affordable and the windows are attractive, of great quality and easy to use. Everyone was punctual, reliable and professional. Prepare to be wowed- this is great company with a strong work ethic.

We had a fantastic experience with George and Avery. We had a Pella window in our upstairs bathroom that was giving us a lot of issues. It was poorly installed and was leaking. George came to our house and spent an hour giving the full demonstration of the Simonton windows that Masterpiece windows sells/installs. George is such a nice guy. He did not try to pressure us into buying more than we needed. He was straightforward with his pricing and his business practices seem solid and honest. Avery, the window installer, really seems to know his stuff, too! He put in our new window and he noticed that our other upstairs window didn't have a drip cap (I think that's the right word?!), so he put one on while he was here. He and his crew were fast and professional. The new window looks great (window and installation). It hasn't rained since the install, but I no longer dread future rain showers!!! After having 7 different quotes around the Triangle, my husband and I decided to go with Masterpiece Windows. What we have learned through this whole process is that the quality of window is equality as important as the installation. Masterpiece Windows carry Simonton brand which has a good reputation. Avery (installer) and his team's craftsmanship in window installation was the main reason we chose Masterpiece Windows. George (owner) was very informative and patient with our family. The whole process went very smoothly and the windows were replaced within 2 weeks after signing the contract. We would highly recommend this company.

The measurement and installation went very smoothly and ahead of schedule. Avery and his crew were super fast and friendly. They got all of the windows installed in one day even though they'd thought it would take more than one day. They hauled off the old windows and it looked like no one had been here, but my house looked so much better! One window was supposed to have a film on it because it is in a shower and it came clear. As soon as the problem was discovered, they ordered a new piece of glass and will install it in about a week. They were able to put the new window in so all we have to do is change out the glass. I was very pleased that they were ready to fix this problem right away. I'd highly recommend Masterpiece Windows!

Masterpiece Windows is a boutique operation. If that suits your needs and inclinations, I recommend it without reservation. 'Boutique' doesn't imply that Masterpiece only handles small jobs, because clearly they're able to take on large and complex projects, including unusual configurations. And it doesn't mean you'll pay more: Prices are definitely competitive within the market, and the quality of service and workmanship exceeds what you'll see from larger contractors. But like any good boutique, it focuses on customer service, and on quality over quantity. Masterpiece carries Simonton windows, in the 5050 and 5500 model lines, with some preconfigured upgrades. You can save a little money on the 5050s, but I judge the 5500s to be a significant step up in quality, and aesthetically more pleasing. George Sullivan, Masterpiece's main man, has done a good job of selecting a configuration that fits the local climate. If you'd like to comb through a long list of window lines and individualized features, maybe look elsewhere. For most people, the simplicity of choosing windows with Masterpiece is a bonus. (George is also a heck of a salesman, and a really entertaining guy to talk to. Even if you don't buy, you'll enjoy his pitch, and the conversation in general.) The main limitation in working with Masterpiece is scheduling installation. George depends on his installer Avery, who only schedules jobs on weekends. Depending on your project, you may have to wait a few weeks for installation, although you'll have your date well in advance. In our case, Avery showed up at the crack of 8:30 on a Sunday morning, along with his brothers Bob and Tiny, and completed the installation around 2:30 that afternoon. Workmanship, retrimming the windows, and cleanup were all top-notch. Over 20 years, we've replaced windows on several occasions in two different houses, and this project was the most trouble-free I've seen.

I went very well. I ordered my windows the 14th of April and Mr. Avery came and installed them on May 7th. The did a great job and completed the job in one day. The windows are top notch, it is so great to have double hung windows.

We had Masterpiece replace windows on our 20 year old home. We had been looking into replacing the windows for quite a while but good quality windows were always more than our budget could afford. We met the owner, George, at a trade show and were immediately impressed with his dynamic personality. We made an appointment for him to come to our home to give us an estimate. He brought samples of Simonton windows so we could see the quality and we knew right away those were the windows we had been waiting to find. They also have a lifetime transferrable warranty which is a great benefit if we decide to downsize in the future. The best part is that George only charges a small amount above his cost for each window making them affordable for us. The installer, Avery, came over and measured each window and it only took a few weeks for them to be ordered and installed. Avery and his crew did an outstanding job. He is a perfectionist and each window fits perfectly. They did an amazing clean-up job when they were finished. George recommended that the old casement window above my kitchen sink be replaced with a slider and I absolutely love it. It is so wonderful to have easy opening windows that don't require a muscle man to open. You won't go wrong purchasing Simonton windows and working with George and his crew. I am pleased to give Masterpiece an A+ rating.

I contacted George to get a consult on replacing our old aluminum windows. George set up an appointment within several days, arrived early, and did a phenomenal pitch. This is where the story takes a turn. After receiving a very competitive bid from George, our project was put on hold primarily because of some other renovation priorities. Over the course of 1 1/2 years George helped us consider other window solution alternatives, brought out samples, provided design advice, and let me know that whenever we were ready to move forward to just give him a call. When we were ready to move forward with the windows, George returned again to make sure we were comfortable with the window accessories, and reviewed our paperwork and measurements that were taken a year and a half ago. The windows arrived in timely manner and our appointment was set-up as we were promised. The installers were amazing and did a fantastic job to say the least. To give you some context, we had a contractor tell us that we would have to rebuild every window in order to "make it work" in the framing. This rebuild would've cost us over $30,000! Avery, miraculously installed our windows without rebuilding anything. I feel like we live in a new home already and we haven't replace all our windows yet. The beauty of working with Masterpiece Windows is that they truly care about their customers. it's not just about a sale, unlike most window estimators that make their pitch. You never feel pressure to buy anything and that's an important consideration when you're choosing a window company. George and the entire Masterpiece Windows team do a top-notch job. There's no doubt that they will be my go-to company for future window and door projects.
