They did a fantastic job. They had a team of approx 6 people and it took approx 5 days. Very thorough and tidy.

These guys are awesome!! Wesley met me at the house to discuss this and another project. He is super knowledgeable, trust worthy and communictes very timely!! Arturo did the work fast and perfect! I am super impressed and will certainly use them again for the complete reside this next year.

Excellent customer service! Very responsive to issue I had with paint color not matching--they re-painted area with out even being asked to do it. Quick to return calls or emails about estimates or service. I will definitely use this company again.

They were very professional, very fast, very polite, delightful. The project supervisors were on top of every detail. My husband is a super handyman and 'back in the day' we would have done this work, but at 75, he and his knees are happy to let younger people do it. He watched every move, knew exactly what they were doing and why. He was also very impressed by the quality and speed of their work. The materials were tops rated, the work was top rated. A+++++

Wesley was our contact from the start, and was fantastic to work with. Not a "salesman" in my mind, but rather someone who wanted to help you get the most for your budget and work with you every step of the way to make that possible. He provided us a few quotes based on criteria from us, then worked through each one and eventually the final one we selected to help us stay within budget. Our job was moved up slightly from the original schedule date, but that did not impact the quality of the job at all. The team was extremely professional, and thorough during the dismantling, application of new siding and eventual cleanup. Only minor damage occurred, which Wesley deducted from our final bill. I stress minor because these were really incidental things, and should not reflect on the overall quality of their craftsmanship. We ran into a couple hiccups along the way, but worked with Wesley and our project manager to address these along the way without any major issues or increase to budget. Bear in mind that we were quoted nearly double the cost by other service providers in the area for the same project, and so I was a bit hesitant at first when they came it at almost half. That being said, the whole process was more hands on, customer friendly and professional than we saw from the more expensive locations. In the end, we are not only extremely satisfied with the job, but will be keeping these guys in mind for future projects as well.

I am a firm believer that you can only ever get a project done with at best two of the following attributes; fair price, high quality, or quickly. The team at Carolina Exteriors Plus proved me wrong and nailed all three. Work began in early July and finished before the end of the month just as discussed. The team was highly skilled and expertly handled all the tricky angles and overhangs of my home. The Project Manager Lewis was checking on progress face to face almost daily and he was always quick to return a phone call otherwise. While it is impossible to perform a job of this magnitude without some disruption, the team did an amazing job of cleaning up every evening so my family could go about life as usual. All of this at a price that was better than the other two quotes I recieved. Every question or concern I raised during the project was quickly answered and the punchlist from the final walkthrough was immediately completed. As with any job on your home, I recommend being engaged in the activity and ask lots of questions. We are very happy with the choice to use Carolina Exteriors Plus!

It went well. I was impressed with their work. The only thing that was not perfect was the clean-up. They did leave some of their equipment. Otherwise it was great!

We received estimates from 3 different companies but the decision to go with Carolina Exteriors Plus was an easy one. When Clifton showed up to do the estimate he took the time to walk around the entire house with me while I pointed out our concerns and answered all of the questions I had about our siding. He then spent another 20 minutes going around the house by himself looking at everything and taking notes and then prepared an extremely impressive proposal for us. After we had time to look over the proposal he came back out to go over the proposal with us in person and showed us all of the areas that he had mentioned in the paperwork and then gave us options on how we wanted to proceed with this project. The project took about 9 days from start to finish and everyone from the project manager, to the crew, to the office staff have been nothing but spectacular. They were always on time, extremely friendly and took the time to answer any questions that we had as everything moved along. Our job is now complete and it looks great! We will eventually have to do the other 2 sides of our house (just wasn't in the budget at this time) and will definitely call them when we are ready.

Our house was built in 1991, and was sided with Masonite siding. We researched various fixes for the warping siding and decided to make the investment to completely reside our house with James Hardie (Hardiplank) Color Plus siding. We contacted several companies for estimates and reviewed each proposal carefully. We boiled our choices down between two companies. Both listed in detail the scope of work, time frame, etc. We ultimately decided to contract with Carolina Exteriors Plus based on pricing, company references, Angie's List reviews, and by visiting some of the homes that were recently resided by Carolina Exteriors Plus. We also were very impressed with Wesley's (Co-owner of Carolina Exteriors Plus) knowledge of construction practices and attention to detail. The job started with a walk-around review of our house with the company's foreman, Wesley and myself. The evening prior to the job starting, the materials were delivered to our house and stacked neatly in the area that we designated. The following morning, the crew showed up and got right to work. It took around 2 weeks to remove and replace the siding and about 3 days to finish the trim work. We requested that the majority of the job be completed prior to the July 4th weekend. The crew worked extra hours to make sure that all of the siding was installed prior to the holiday weekend. Every evening, the crew would clean up their work areas and neatly stack all the materials and then cover them with their tarp. They always took time to address our questions and would always let us know when they were leaving for the day. Needless to say, we were very impressed with quality of their workmanship and their attention to detail! Near the completion of the job, the foreman, Lewis, came out to conduct a walk around with me to inspect the job as well as put together the final punch list. The punch list was wrapped up quickly and we signed off on the job. A few days after the crew completed the job, I noticed a couple of small items that were overlooked in our final walk through that needed to be touched up. No problem!!! Lewis was back out to our house on the day we made the call to take care of the remaining items. That is great customer service!!! All said, we are extremely happy with the quality of work from Carolina Exteriors Plus. Our house looks great and we have received lots of positive feedback from our friends and neighbors on the new siding. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking to have their siding replaced!! Thanks for a job well done!

The work was performed as scheduled, given weather conditions. All work was perfomed in a workmanlike manner, including repairs that involved pulling the deck away from the house. There were two crews; one for the carpentry, and one for the painting. Both did an excellent job, and pointed out needed repairs, which were agreed upon and finished.

Great, prompt service. The owner is very caring about the work that is company provides. We are very happy with the results and would use this company again.

Overall, we are very pleased with how our house looks. Clifton does his best to be professional and provided a thorough, detailed job description and also follow up materials. The crews that worked on the house (siding and painting) all worked extremely hard and were very friendly and polite. We got four estimates for this work and picked Carolina Exteriors because of their reviews, the completeness of the estimate and their competitive price. Our only general complaint would be the lack of attention to detail and adequate supervision. We picked up buckets of nails and debris that were left in our yard and garden beds and my husband is still finding places (e.g. the side of a window frame) that weren't painted. Clifton only visited once during the work cycle and the project supervisor seemed to come by infrequently. The job ended up stretching out for an additional couple of weeks because the project manager and crew thought they didn't have enough siding. While additional product was on order, we waited with the trash dumpster in front of the house and siding still missing. After the extra siding was delivered, we discovered enough materials had been sitting the driveway under a tarp and some trim pieces all along! Not a huge deal, but frustrating. A minor issue arose because the metal flashing which was pre-finished at the Hardie factory just didn't match the siding. The painters were able to easily take a siding sample to the hardware store and match the color and then did just a few minor touch ups where the difference was noticeable. We were surprised to be charged extra for this work and when we questioned the charge, Clifton - to his credit - promptly refunded the money.

Carolina Exteriors Plus was excellent! We had an issue with birds pecking through the wood trim and siding to nest inside the house. After receiving estimates from 3 companies, we decided to hire Carolina Exteriors Plus after speaking with Wesley. We could not be happier with the work! They were punctual for both the appointment for the estimate and for the work to be done (weather was limiting step). They finished the work in two days which encompassed a large part of our exterior wall. They were very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and even some from another company doing a different job. The work looks phenomenal, you can't tell any work has been done to the house minus the fact the birds holes/nests are no longer there. I would recommend Carolina Exteriors Plus to anyone. The were fantastic!

Everything went well. The roof replacement was done with a specialized crew in under one day (2500 sqft 2-story house). It looks great (I switched to architectural shingles). A smaller crew came in and handled the wood repairs to the trim and deck on another day. There was a small issue with closing a side door (they added weatherstripping where there hadn't been any before, which would normally be a good thing), but they immediately came back out and took care of it. A third crew handled the gutters and were able to eliminate an awkwardly-placed downspout in the old configuration by using larger downspouts in the new configuration.

They were very willing to do as much or as little as we wanted. Carolina Exteriors was the ONLY company we could find ( we contacted 5 other companies) that would pair the job down to a manageable size for us. When we made changes on the fly, they were very accommodating. The work was completed very quickly, as well. I would highly recommend Carolina Exteriors.

I was very satisfied with the whole experience from the initial meeting to final review. I had questions concerning the color of the gutters and Carolina Exteriors promptly answered my questions and provided a website link to color choices. Gutters and rain barrels look very nice.

We had woodpecker damage to the siding and trim on our chimney and suspect a leak in siding and/or roof in that area. They came out to take a look at the siding and at the roof and gave us a detailed estimate, breaking out various parts of the project so that we could decide what was within our budget. We decided to just get the chimney done, as that was the more pressing matter, and signed the contract for the job. We were given a start date pretty quickly, but because of the bad weather lately, there was a delay in getting materials delivered and the job start. We were kept informed of the delays and the reasons why (it's not unreasonable to not deliver materials in an ice storm!) at every step of the way. Communication was excellent. The workers came out as scheduled - maybe 5 minutes early even. As they were doing the tear-down of the old siding, they discovered two problems. The first was a hole in our roof right where it meets the chimney, and the other was wood rot and insect damage in the chimney frame. They took lots of pictures, and our project manager was in touch fairly quickly. They also worked with us while we contacted our exterminators to determine the type of damage and if our contract with them covered the costs of replacing that part of the chimney (it wasn't termites, so no - that's another review). We got a new estimate for the extra work, approved it, and work continued. The whole thing took 2 days. This was tear-down, re-framing, wrapping, siding caulking and painting of the chimney as well as the repair of the hole in the roof, and came in as quoted. In all, working with Carolina Exteriors Plus was a great experience, I was happy with the price, the way things proceeded, and plan to use them again for more work on the house.

Job was delayed because of weather (snow) but workers worked through 20's temps and completed job on large house in 8-9 days of work. Siding and paint looks perfect!

The estimate and planning process was great. Wesley was very professional and responsive. He answered all our questions, stopped by our house to answer my husband's questions and even gave us his cell phone number if we had additional questions. Beth (who was very pleasant) and Wesley kept us up to date with a project start date. When the day came the crew showed up exactly on time and got to work. They even brought out additional men to complete the work before the bad weather came. The crew was very polite and careful in the yard and around the house. All debris was picked up and the siding looked great! I would hire Carolina Exteriors Plus again and would recommend them highly.

It was a huge undertaking that spanned the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays along with some very wet days, but the team maintained continuity in their work and communication about their progress. From the start Clifton and Lewis were always available for questions and came in person to assess the work and address all of the questions that we had. Special attention was given to unique circumstances, including the crawlspace door that needed a special insulator attached to maintain a closed crawlspace. Not only would we recommend Clifton's team to others, we look forward to hiring them again for any exterior project we have in the future.

They replaced the wood frame surrounding exterior window.

The work was done within the time frame discussed, it was done beautifully with great attention to detail. Lines of communication were always open, there were no hidden fees or add-ons at the last minute. The work was done with no impact on our daily life, it was as if nothing were happening at our house. We would hire them again in a heartbeat; they are professional, on top of things, competitively priced, and provided a service exactly as promised. We couldn't be happier!

Clifton and team could not be more professional. We did a walk through to discuss the project and their experience helped us organize and plan the job. Each walk through was followed up with an email from them recapping our conversation about the project. Communication was consistently good. Action was prompt. The site was prepared with a dumpster and needed materials. The team arrived on time and worked hard all day. Their attention to detail and craftsmen ship was outstanding. Our mountain sage colored siding shows no nail holes, nor our arctic white trim. Everything that needs it is caulked, painted and wiped clean; shown at its best ( these guys take real pride in their work!) No piece of siding was attached without a special Hardie wrap before it. Our house looks better than new and we would definitely hire them again if needed!

Clifton and his team our great. They have done multiple types of work on two different properties I own. They offer a competitive price and get the job done right the first time all in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Clifton and Carolina Exteriors Plus.
