Apex Lock and Key Locksmith

Wonderful people to work with. Kept me informed about their schedule for that day. They were running late and so in addition to the Angie's List discount, they gave me a discount for the delay in arrival. The gentleman got right to work and finished in a reasonable amount of time.. Job well done. Keys work great! Sorry it took me so long to write the review.

They did a really nice job. I called them and made an appointment. He was going to be a little late, but they called me and informed me. He did a great job and did a great job with no more. They gave me a decent Angie's List discount and I would highly recommend them. He is a very nice and professional man.

Luke showed up exactly when he said he would. He was incredibly professional, went right to work and had the job finished in 15 minutes. I would not hesitate to call these guys again, or recommend them. Very, very impressed! Thanks for the great work, and the same-day service!

They give Angie's List members a 10% discount and five free keys with this service. All of the keys worked in the new locks. What I especially liked was that one of the guys showed me why the deadbolt was a little hard to turn on one of the doors: the deadbolt was not completely aligned with the hole in the doorframe; the door appears to have sagged a little bit. He worked a little on the hole in the doorframe so that the bolt goes into to make it work more easily. Also he showed me something that I never knew: if the bolt is not fully extended, a small amount of wiggling can make the deadbolt retract and unlock the door!! So now I know to make sure that the deadbolt is completely extended when I lock the door.

Luke was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He re-keyed two locks and tested all six new duplicate keys in all of the locks in our house. He made an adjustment to one of the locks where the new keys did not work. I highly recommend Apex Lock and Key, and especially Luke, for doing an outstanding job while being courteous and professional.

I recently purchased a home and hired Ape Lock and Key to rekey the house on moving day. I had no trouble making an appointment. I called on a Wednesday and was able to schedule an appointment for the following Saturday. They were on time and very professional. They worked diligently and quickly in the chaos that is moving day. The total bill came to exactly what I was quoted, and they honored both their advertised special as well as an Angie's list special. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Our spare key was stolen and we were concern about the security of our locks. We called Apex Lock and Key in the morning and they came out that afternoon.

It went extremely well. I got an appt the day after I called (I couldn't fit them in the day I called, but they would have been able to come the same day). Benjamin showed up on time, was professional, polite and friendly. He showed me what was wrong and explained what needed to be done. The work was done quickly and neatly and the lock has never worked that well for me. He also offered to lubricate other locks, but I'm in a townhome that only requires a key for the front door.

Luke was right on time. Very professional and polite. I would call them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend them!

They were very prompt, and conscientious. They provided everything I asked for. I don't remember exactly what they charged, but I remember it was reasonable. We have used them since.

I used them because I had an Angie’s List coupon. The price was competitive. From the Angie’s List ratings I figured I would get decent service from these guys. They were very accommodating and they did the work. They were very careful not to marrow the face of the deadbolt locks. When I called he was very willing to make the appointment when I was going to be available. They were very punctual.

They were courteous. They cleaned up their mess. They were very good and professional.

He was really good and came out to fix the issue. He gave me suggestions on what other things I needed. He wasn't forceful about it or trying to sell me anything. He also went around and did extra service on top of it just to make sure all the locks were in working order. It was expensive but it was on target from what I understand. I would definitely use them again because they were really good.

I found this company on Angie's List and was very satisfied with the service I received. I had an appointment for 2:30 this afternoon and there was an opening earlier and so the technician called and asked if I wanted them to come out early. I did and the lock set was replaced and keyed to my existing keys very quickly. The replacement lock set appears to be of much better quality than the one that was originally there. I was impressed by the professionalism of the technician.

I found the locksmith through Angies List, and I was 100% satisfied. I had to re-schedule the date of my appointment, and he was able to accommodate me without any trouble. The man arrived and was very professional. We walked through the house so he could see what I wanted done. He removed the cylinders from the locks, and moved his truck to a flat road to re-key the locks. He came back and re-installed the cylinders, then we tested all of the locks. Overall, the locksmith was very professional, and I would certainly call him back.

I thought they were going to end up having to re-key the whole house and I’ve used them twice now. So each time they’ve come out, they’ve done sort of the least invasive and least expensive repair work to get the problem fixed. There were times that we’ve had them and they could have said that we would have to re-key the whole house, and I would have no way of knowing whether it’s true or not. They were prompt and they arrived when they said they would. They did the job very quickly and there was no mess. They’ve always been reasonably priced. I think each time I ended up paying just the basic service amount. We will use their services again in the future.

William arrived right on time. Re-keyed the four locks and disabled the two knob-locks. I never would have thought to disable the twist knob locks, but he was so right - too easy to lock myself out! Made new keys for me. I am completely pleased with both the service and the price. Definitely would recommend him!

Excellent response and service. Locksmith arrived within one and a half hours of call. Was able to fix the dead-bolt portion of the lock so that the door could be closed and keys could open the door.

The guys were very friendly and did a great job ; giving us their suggestions as to what would work best for us . They rekeyd all the locks in the house and the in-laws suite so that now everyone has one key to get in and out andour house is more secure. They also were quick and very friendluy and professional. The locksmith arrived at the scheduled time and understood the work that was required. The lock that was malfunctioning was repaired very handily and the other exterior locks were lubricated by the locksmith as a part of the service. The locksmith suggested additional work that should be completed, but did not press me to have it completed at that time. I will schedule the work at a later date and was glad to have the suggestion. All work was completed efficiently and as requested. Excellent experience!

I lost key to alarm box. Apex Lock & Key came and put in a new lock with new keys.
