Apex Lock and Key Locksmith

I called them for a whole house rekey move in, but after discussing my needs they said they did not service Pittsboro. This is strange because they list them selved as servicing Pittsboro.

John and Luke were a pleasure to deal with. They were both polite and friendly from the first phone call to the onsite visit. Luke was punctual and very knowledgeable. He happily answered all our questions, even those of my young kids. He was very thorough and respectful. He even wore shoe covers inside our house. He made sure that all the keys and locks worked perfectly before he left. I called a few other lock smiths, even some of the other A rated ones in the area. Apex Locksmith prices were lower than the other quotes. I would highly recommend Luke and John for any lock related matter. They will be the only locksmiths that I use.

After reading the great reviews, I called up Apex Lock and Key.They came out even though I am slightly out of their service area, which I appreciate. Luke was exactly on time. He repaired a broken deadbolt lock at my front door and it works better than it did when it was new! He also installed a new deadbolt lock at the back door and made sure all my exterior doors could use the same key. He left me with shiny new keys. Because one lock was repairable, my cost was less than the estimate, a pleasant surprise! Luke carefully cleaned up as he went along and he was friendly but very professional. I highly recommend Apex Lock and Key.

Their installer was professional, explained everything and even came back out when we had an issue with one of our doorknobs (didn't even turn out to be the lock). I would definitely use them again. Price per lock was comparable to the other services and they didn't charge an hourly rate, which made us feel better about using them for a bunch of locks.

They were very prompt, even early which I liked. The technician was very professional and nice. He re-keyed the front, back and storage doors. I would use this company again.

John informed me that Luke would be coming at 9:30 on Friday. He quoted me the costs before hand. Luke was on time, very professional and performed the tasks as quoted..I can't say enough. This company was wonderful and I would definitely use them again.

They were excellent, on time, very honest, gave me discount and very courteous. They were very professional; they will give you a good price and an idea which is something that I like.

My experience with Apex Lock and Keysmith was great. Luke arrived promptly, within 1 minute of the appointment time. Luke was very courteous, professional, friendly and willing to answer my questions. It took approximately 1 hour for Luke to rekey three locks at our house. We had a coupon from Angie's list for 5 free duplicate keys, which he honored. I was also told over the phone when I made the appointment that there was also a coupon for 10% off the trip charge. Luke honored both coupons without question, which brought the total bill to $100.25. I thought this was very reasonable. Luke also suggested adding a dead bolt lock to one exterior door that doesn't have one. I agreed. Luke will return at a later date to add the dead bolt lock, as he did not have the style and finish of lock in his van to match the locks already installed on all the other doors. This was my first experience with Apex Lock and Keysmith, but I would definitely hire them again and would definitely recommend them to other people in the Cary, Apex, Holly Springs area of North Carolina.

There is nothing to say that this was beyond excellent. Why can't other businesses be like this? John, the owner, answered. He told me Luke would be there in a couple of hours. A cancellation happened. Luke was here in an hour. The work was perfect, so reasonably priced, punctual, courteous, warrantied for 30 days. I could not dream of another business being so well run. Well, maybe mine. But really, this was a fantastic experience. Thanks, Luke and John!!! Thanks.

They were okay. The price is the only thing that stands out. The reason I got them because they came out really quickly. I called them about one o'clock and they came out at five, the job was done by six.

This was my second visit from Apex Lock and Key. The first was a few weeks before, when I had the cores changed on all my exterior door locks. Obviously, I was satisfied, since I called them a second time. Luke came to my house for the second visit, to open a padlock on a garden shed for which the key was lost. He was friendly, professional, and efficient.

The person arrive right in time and complete the job very quickly, price was lower compare to others.

We called for an appointment and Apex Lock and Key came out that same day. On their first trip, Apex Lock and Key came out and diagnosed the problem and said we needed to order the part from Baldwin. They did not charge us for this initial visit since they could not fix the problem. Once the part came in from Baldwin (Baldwin did not charge us for the part), Apex Lock and Key came back out to fix the lock. They were easy to work with, flexible in terms of time, punctual, friendly and knowledgeable. A winning combination!

The young man was respectful but a tad bit lax in vacuuming all the debris....It was understandable since I had a lot of secure stuff in the location. His boss interrupted him during the service by driving in with some stuff for his next service. He also showed up a tad bit late but did call and let me know. The charge was a tad bit more than what I expected. Overall though I would recommend this locksmith.

Luke was prompt on the day of the appt. The work was done very quickly, done correctly the first time. Luke was also willing to answer questions about my home locks. Great service. Not sure how pricing compares to other companies, I called Apex first given their good reviews. Luke did offer a discount for finding him on Angie's List and I didn't have to ask for it. Will call them again if I need a locksmith.

This was an overall great experience.

We recently moved into a new house, and the company replaced all our locks. They were extremely responsive and had a person at my home within 3 hours of my initial call. The person was extremely respectful and knowledgable. This is the second time I've used the company, and I'd use them again.

Apex was very helpful and we handled everything over the phone. The home is for rent so there was a lockbox on the door. Apex let themselves in and took care of all the work, leaving the new keys where we could find them on our next visit. The new keys and updated locks all worked great. Apex gave me both discounts listed on their Angie's List coupon. They took my payment information over the phone and emailed a paid invoice for my records. A very smooth transaction. I wish they were all so easy to work with.

Repaired the door lock. Very prompt and quick service. Completed the work in 15-20 minutes. I would rate them high on everything except the price. I think its little high but not sure if that's the standard for this business.

I have had Apex Lock and Key come to my house to replace a deadbolt lock and a door handle twice in the past couple of months - once for my back door and once for my front door. Both times I called, they answered right away, were able to make an appointment the same day to come to my house, arrived exactly on time, and performed the work in a superior manner. I couldn't be happier with their service, and I am so glad I called them!!

I called last week to make an appointment to get our new home re-keyed, and they were able to offer me the date and time I wanted. Today I received a call about an hour before our scheduled time saying that the technician would be able to be early if that worked for our schedule. We were out but headed home, so told him he might beat us there and he said that was fine. He was there when we got home, and got right to work. He used shoe covers while inside, and had our locks re-keyed and keys made within an hour. I was running around assisting the movers and unfortunately did not get his name, but the technician was polite, professional, and efficient from start to finish. He made sure I got the Angie's List discount and also applied the discount offered for nurses. Overall very pleasant experience and would definitely use again. He even gave us advice about a lock we were not having re-keyed and let us know which brands were compatible.
