Description of Work: We had set an appointment for Monday. They gave us a 2-4 timeframe. We had to pick up kids from different schools during that time but would be very close by and only gone for a few minutes, if at all. So, my husband called and told the scheduler the situation and asked if the service provider could call ahead...so that he/she wouldn't be inconvenienced. As it turned out, we never received a call nor did anyone show up! And, because my neighbor offered to bring home one of the kids, there was someone home the entire timeframe...so i know we didn't miss a knock on the door. My husband had planned for a general landscape maintenance guy to come out the following day thus figured that he'd ask him about the sprinkler head concerns. Anyhow, Thursday rolled around...and my husband received a call from this company's service man asking if he could stop by and check out our sprinklers! Really? Now, we understand that "things happen" but all it takes is short phone call to communicate. After no contact on the originally scheduled day and now he wants to do us the favor of stopping by three days later? A very odd way of doing business. If you choose to work with this company you may want to ask that they actually show up and/or communicate.

We apologize for any inconvenience this customer has suffered. Our scheduling software dates every entry which allows us to check up on scheduling issues that may arise. We do admit that there is human error our scheduling from time to time, but not in this incidence. This customer was scheduled for Wednesday on our schedule and our technician did call ahead per the customer's request. He actually called earlier in the day to bump up their appointment, but was told the work has been completed by somebody else. We understand that customers shop around and may call numerous companies before scheduling and appointment. It is however up to the customer to write down the correct day and time next to the company they have decided to schedule with. We pride ourselves in customer service and will make things right when given the chance to do so. However, we feel this customer decided to spontaneously act on frustration with this negative review before giving us an opportunity to make it right regardless of who is at fault.

Description of Work: I was starting up my sprinkler system (very late in the year), and ball valve water turn on was broken. I called Advanced Irrigation on 5-23, the appointment was scheduled for 5-25. Service was provided within scheduled window, gentleman was pleasant, professional, and very helpful with siggestion. I actually need valve replaced, we discussed cost and options- no hard pressure to getexpensive job done, actually helpful suggestions to delay an expensive repair. I will call this company for any future sprinkler system needs. I have used others, and was not as satisfied as I am with Advanced Irrigation.

Description of Work: I called them to add a sprinkler head to my landscaping bed. They came, and told me that honestly, my current system would be fine for the plants I was putting in, and that I didn't really need another head. Since they had already been near the area anyway, he considered it a consultation, and didn't charge me. It's rare these days to find such service and honesty. I will definitely call them next time!
