We choose not to continue that service with them because we were not satisfied so it's been so long ago. We had a service agreement with them but they were suppose to come out twice a year I believe that our debit card was deactivated by the bank because of a breech of security and they never contacted us to let us know that they were not going to be coming back out or they were not able to bill us so we stop using them after that. If I remember correctly they were not easy to get in touch with and we had a hard time try to getting the billing issue resolved with them so I would say that those two things would be, I wouldn't recommend them.

It is rare to hear this as we have a call center, and people in our office work after hours to ensure all customers are taken care of. Our records show that your card was deactivated, BUT our office manager Josh still called to schedule regular maintenance in July of 2015. We sent our technician Kenny put to service the system with new paperwork for you to sign to rejoin with different payment information after the job was complete. Unfortunately, you had to leave the house before the job was done. We called once after this to renew your agreement, but received no return call from you. we truly appreciate your past business, and would love to be your go to HVAC company again. Eddie did an excellent job in putting together a proposal which met or exceeded my specs and made value added recommendations based on his years of experience and industry knowledge. The installation team was professional, courteous, and efficient. I hardly knew they were around. Everything from the initial visit to assess our old system to the installation went as planned. We were given details as to what would happen when and those details were satisfied. Their price was very competitive with other vendors. They had installed a previous system for our upstairs. We never considered any other service.

I have never written a testimonial before, but I felt compelled to share my experience. As homeowners, keeping up with repairs can be a challenge. Not only can it be costly, but which company to choose can be daunting. I have dealt with many businesses over the years. Some have been ok and some have been awful (which is why I have learned not to jump at the 1st one that promises me things). If your HVAC unit has ever quit working, then you know that these systems are not cheap. I troubleshooted the problem, thinking that I could fix it myself. However, this was too big (even for me who has taken on the role of handy-woman). After I realized that I could not ?fix? the problem, I called around to get a quote. One of my many calls I made was to 72 degrees heating and air. Josh was very professional and prompt when answering my call. When 72 degrees president, Eddie Blanchard, called I told him about going with another company. He suggested that he would like to come out in person to check out the HVAC system. I was impressed, so I said sure. He came out and explained the many options available to me. I decided to go with 72 Degrees, and I have not regretted my decision. I talked to Bill and he helped me get approved for financing, which was ½ the battle. It was not an easy installation, to say the least. From the furnace arriving damaged during transit, a faulty compressor, a switch replacement, and a faulty coil, the technicians stuck with the job until they got the system installed and running properly. Meanwhile,during the 3 visits it took for the HVAC installation, (the 1st day was 10 hours long!), I was able to utilize 2 AC window units (courtesy of Tim the supervisor). Brandon, Matt, and Jimmy deserve my special thanks for their perseverance throughout this ordeal. They were knowledgeable and very patient with me and my many questions. My contact with 72 Degrees did not stop after the installation process, however. About a week later Eddie Blanchard?s wife (Heather) called me to ensure that the HVAC unit was functioning properly. Everyone?s work ethics and dedication are top notch and I would recommend this company to anyone (which I have!).

Our A/C quit working and we placed several calls on a Monday morning trying to find someone to fix it. 72 Degrees the only company that could help us that day! They came out and evaluated the problems and got us A/C. We then decided it was probably time to replace the whole system due to age and rust of some major parts. We got many quotes and 72 Degrees was not the lowest but one of the most reasonable and we were very impressed with their responsiveness, courtesy, and professionalism. During the days of getting the quotes our air "froze up" again, leaving us without air for many hours. During that time my husband asked them many questions (which were during non-business hours) and got quick response. 72 Degrees was able to get us scheduled for replacement of our system within days, whereas other companies were telling us it would be weeks. We are very pleased with our new system and would absolutely recommend 72 Degrees!

The owner and staff of 72 Degrees went above and beyond what would have been expected of a Heating and Air Company. They helped to repair my current home which was under contract and at the same time helped me figure out and negotiate the proper repairs needed on the home I was about to purchase. They were professional, courteous and timely in all requests and repairs needed. It was an extremely stressful time and finding an honest reliable company to work with under a very tight timeline was a gift! I can't say enough.....I would recommend them to family and friends with no hesitation! Great experience.

I'm glad I went with 72 Degrees as the entire experience was both professional and personable. From the first meeting to the install, everyone was great to work with! Top notch job, and while probably not the cheapest I could have gotten one thing I've learned is that cheap tools always cost more on the long run! The unit we now have is top quality, and the job they did replacing our duct work was fantastic! I think the entire job was done in two days. Even got a couple of follow up calls just to make sure everything went well. Highly recommend contacting 72 Degrees if you have any HVAC issues!
Description of Work: In the dead of winter our HVAC unit died on us. As a short-term fix I had a service person try to get the unit back up and running, but all he could do was put a patch on it to hold it over while I looked to get a replacement. After talking to a couple of companies, I called 72 Degrees and the owner came to the house and spent about 90 minutes with me, much more then any other company I spoke with, and gave me a ton of information and education! They not only replaced the HVAC unit, but all the ductwork in the house as well. MUCH more efficient and effective now!

The guys that came out were friendly and professional and always took care to wear protective footwear in the house. They explained everything in detail and diagnosed the problem on the first try. I have been pleased with our relationship with 72 Degrees Heating and Air.

With an old house, the A/C unit needed to have maintenance performed. After cleaning, tech checked for air flow coming through the vents. Noticed it wasn't meeting standards. Tech went back to unit and noticed an after market fan was wired incorrectly. Tech rewired and A/c unit is working significantly better. very thorough job performed.

72 Degrees were very professional, always on time and completed the job on budget. My wife often commented on how courteous the crew were at the house and how hard they were working. Since the work was performed, we've had one issue and the team were very responsive and fixed the problem quickly which we find out wasn't even an issue with the 72 Degrees work, it was an old issue with the upstairs system - so they really helped us out. Overall, really good experience.

Mark showed up on time and after a phone call letting us know he was on his way. Explained what would be done and that another person (Scott) would be there later to assist him with the plenum work. Mark laid out all the parts to be used, explained what they were and what would be done. He installed the compressor start assists and sweeping trap with safety and removed the old plenum on his own. Scott showed up shortly afterwards and assisted Mark with constructing and installing a new plenum on the upstairs unit in the attic. Once complete, they checked out the entire system to ensure everything worked, showed what they did, cleaned up behind them and then asked if we had any questions or concerns. They had to make numerous trips up to our attic and were very careful not to track in dirt. We paid the invoice once the job was complete and received a detailed receipt via email. They were working on a system that was installed by another company about 3 years ago. It was evident to me the company that originally installed our HVAC system did not do a very good job insuring the plenum on the unit in the attic was appropriately sized. I was very pleased with the work done by Mark and Scott at 72 Degrees. I decided to enter into a maintenance program to have them check my system twice each year and plan to use them should I need any future HVAC maintenance.
Description of Work: After a complete check of our A/C system, 1) installed a compressor start assist on both our lower and upper systems to reduce in rush amperage to compressor to appropriate levels, 2) installed sweeping trap with safety on upstairs air handler system and 3) increased the S/A plenum from 2" to 4" to improve airflow and enable cold air to more efficiently get off coil.

After doing a great deal of research both on and off the web about HVAC companies in our area, I went with 72 degrees Heating and Air for my HVAC replacement. I was impressed that my initial contact was with the owner (Eddie Blanchard). He came by to see what would be involved in the old HVAC removal and the new one installed. He answered all of my questions completely and clearly. I reviewed his proposal against four others I had obtained and his was the beat overall. The installation was done over a two day period because of the age of the house and the issues that came up during the install. I was greatly impressed with the professionalism of Wayne and Mike of the install team. They were both clear and concise with me of the "goods" and "bads" of the options they had and what they would recommend for this install. Having been in a customer service job myself for over 40 years, I found this to be refreshing in today's environment. When they ran into a problem getting the circuit breakers for my old electrical box, they did not try to "make due" with some that might have done OK. They ordered the correct ones after an extensive on-line search. Others such as Bill and Josh were very helpful when I called with additional questions or requested additional info via e-mail. IN ALL: I would recommend these people for any type of HVAC issues you might be experiencing.

The unit is in constant need of serve and only after having the unit for 1.5 years, we have had at least 5 service calls. Unit is still not working correctly after the the last visit just a few days ago.

My name is Eddie Blanchard. I am the owner of 72 Degrees Heating and Air Conditioning. We have documented in our database that we have only had 2 service problems. The first was a faulty Honeywell thermostat and the second was a faulty auxiliary heat kit. When Mr. [Member Name Removed] had us install his 5-ton system to include a complete new duct system we talked about the warranty that would be provided. The warranty is a 10-year parts and a 1-year labor warranty. He agreed that that was what he wanted. I explained to Mr [Member Name Removed] that we did not make the thermostat our the auxiliary heat kit. Once the labor warranty was up it now required labor and warranty processing for any part that could possibly fail. If we were to include an in-house labor warranty to protect in the event a manufactured part should fail we would price ourselves out of the market. All clients are given the opportunity to purchase an extended labor warranty at the time of purchase. All systems just like any other appliance, they are man made and can fail. I don't like it when it happens but we can't be the manufacturer and pay for the failure when it happens. After a couple of attempts to personnally contact Mr. [Member Name Removed], I still don't understand the details of what is currently wrong with the system. It could be that on a 15 degree day, that not every room in his home is comfortable. He has a very large single level home with one thermostat controlling the system. It can get pretty difficult to maintain the temperature throughout the home under extreme conditions. I have explained to Mr. [Member Name Removed] that we would send our senior technician out to investigate the problem and if there is anything causing the problem due to installation we would fix the problem at no charge. However based on all the evidence it appears to be coming from either a power surge or a faulty part. I will do all I can to help. Thank you.
