Description of Work: Mr Rooter replaced the sewer line from the basement 12 feet out towards the alley with pipe burst method and reconstructed the concrete that had been removed to complete the process. The plumbers did an excellent job and kept us informed throughout the entire process. |The concrete guy they had finish the job did a very mediocre job. He washed soil excavated from the hole, required for the pipe burst, back into the hole with a hose which left a muddy mess and caused a two week delay before the pouring of the new concrete could occur. The finish work on the concrete both on the driveway and in the basement was far less than satisfactory. If they had used someone more skilled with concrete replacement Mr Rooter would have gotten an A+ from me.

Description of Work: I received an honest consultation from Chance, plumber for Mr. Rooter, in regards to a purchase of an older townhouse. He carefully diagnosed existing possible plumbing issues and looked at potential future plumbing issues due to ageing. He will be providing me with a written "pyramid" of issues to replace/repair in order of importance, so that I can have repaired/replaced what needs to be done, as my budget allows and in a time-frame that is convenient to me. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. There was a little snafu regarding the charge I was quoted, but after talking with their office personnel,it was immediately corrected and applied to my account for future work/repairs, as I requested. Excellent customer service.

Description of Work: Awesome service and the plumber who came out was pleasant and professional. He put on the little booties so he wouldn't track through the house.

Description of Work: Reinstalled a enery eficient hot water heater that that not installed properly by plumbing company hired by big box store in town. The other plumbing company come out and said it installed properly. We needed to have a plumber come out and look at our pipes. We then called Mr. Rooter plumbing company based on Angie's list ratings. Mr. Rooter sent a master plumber who was punctual and stayed until the job was done - about 4 hours. He called the appliance company to trouble shot the problem and had them send us spare equipment for the heater in case needed in the future. It has been working beautifully since. You don't realize how much we take hot water for granted until you're without it for several weeks. Upon receipt of my call, Mr. Rooter had a plumber in our home the next day and the problem was resolved. I highly recommend them and greatly appreciate the time and effort of the plumber who ensured that the job was done right.

Description of Work: Replaced a large, cracked, very old cast iron pipe (some of the line was exposed and also went up the 1st floor from the basement), replaced a toilet, cleaned out an old drum trap, replaced faucet in tub, installed new pvc lines. We really thought these projects would be much more costly but found the service and work excellent. I would highly recommend this company, super friendly and professional staff. I was also able to use a coupon which saved about $140.

Description of Work: Mr. Rooter's team of qualified technicians rescued our home's plumbing from my well intentioned two year old who thought it might be interesting to see what happens when he flushed his diaper down the toilet. After trying to free up the problem with a plunger I realized I was in need of professional help. (I've been in need of professional help for some time now). The employees were good natured people who'd been obviously in the trade for quite a while. Their professionalism was exemplary, but what really stands out (and this may sound cheesy) is their commitment. They all were genuinely engaged in solving our problem, and expediting the resolution of the problem with both efficiency and expertise. I will definitely call them again. Look no further. It's always a beautiful day at Mr Rooter.

Description of Work: this time they helped out my son and daughter in law. I have used them for several years. that is why i continue to call them. they open clogged drains . both our houses were built in the 1950's. they keep of open. they are great.

Description of Work: Mr. Rooter installed an infrared water filter for us because our water well had been compromised and was showing bacterial contamination. They did an excellent job of installation, and the water tested subsequently passed with no problems.

Description of Work: We had a toilet that wouldn't flush. We called on Monday, they came out on Tuesday, as scheduled. They were courteous and professional. They gave us several options to fix the problem and, once we decided which option to take, they promptly fixed the problem. They gave us a 10% senior citizen discount without us even asking for it. They were only here for about an hour. We will definitely call them again when necessary.

Description of Work: Great company! Absolutely professional from the person who answered the phone on my first call to the prompt arrival (only hours later!) of the service tech. He assessed the problems and replaced our toilet. He went straight back to the warehouse (this was at 3:00 pm) and came back with the toilet and installed it. We will always use Mr. Rooter from now on.

Description of Work: Had a sewer backup. A National company quoted about $2000 to fix. Called around for more bids. Cold weather, and the ground was starting to freeze, frost line was about 10" down and I was afraid it would only get worse. Sewer pipe had to be uncovered, and replaced.
