Description of Work: Returned call promptly and sent someone out to access what needed to be done. Not real quick on returning call with an estimate. His estimate was to pull figures out of the air and quote worst case scenarios on each step of the way and tell me that a project let that could "explode" price wise. I told him to get me some real estimates and he never called back. Two firm quotes I did receive were around $4500. This guy had it as high as a $10,000 project.

Description of Work: Numerous projects including one under bid. Simply put, this company has done such a good job for us that we keep calling them back and yes, we have aid them plenty of money but all of it has been well worth it. You can't go wrong with Round Da House. Just be careful when dealing with the owner Mike Woodson cause throughout it all he maintains his sense of humor and he's crazy as a loon.

Description of Work: I bought a dishwasher from Lowe's, the hook up was not included in the price and I was having a difficult time scheduling an appointment through Lowe's. I'm glad I called Round DA House, it was not an easy installment. RDH showed up on time, hauled off the dishwasher, cleaned up after themselves, and took the time (and patience) to correctly install the dishwasher.

Description of Work: They installed a pre-owned air conditioner unit in my home. It works great and I haven't had any problems with it since. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything they were doing. I have used them before on other jobs in my home and I will continue to call them whenever I need something fixing.

+ -1 moreOverall we were pleased and would hire Mike Woodson again to do repairs round da house. Mike and his emoloyee came when they said they would and worked every minute they were here. They attended to the work, cleaned up, then left. They made themselves unobtrusive while on the job.
Description of Work: Mike Woodson and his employee did carpentry work in three bathrooms that involved ceililings and walls. They also smoothed the walls for painting. Mike repaired rotted wood and threshhold around our patio door (nicely done). They removed huge mirrors glued to the bathroom walls without breaking them so they could be recemented (which saved us money) once they completed the rewiring and hanging of new light fixtures. While working in the attic they found water leaks coming from the pipes that exited thru the roof and replaced the boots. We appreciated that kind of attention to our unknown needs which in this case saved us future costly repairs to our ceilings. There were a lot of little details which they took the time to do so that the work was done right. We were pleased with the work done, the time in which it was done, and the attention to details. Mr. Woodson was courteous and did go out of his way to help us. We trusted his judgment regarding the home repairs he did. I felt his price was very reasonable.

+ -1 moreThe work turned out fantastic. We have actually gone back and used him again. He did a whole lot of different stuff around the house as we are getting our house ready for sale. He always calls back which sounds retarded but there are a lot of people who don't. He always keeps in contact and he does good work. He keeps us up to date with what is going on. We would definitely use him in the future.
Description of Work: The home repair company came out a couple of weeks ago and did some carpentry, a little bit of plumbing, and some tile work, in general some handyman work.

They arrive when they say they will arrive, they keep you posted if they are going to pick up materials or going to lunch. Mike will tell you what he thinks the job will cost, what they could find that might alter that price and is fair. He will tell you if it's a job that requires a specific professional. He will recommend ways to achieve the desired result that could save a homeowner money. He and his assistant are trustworthy and conscientious. I have no problem leaving them to work in my home if I am not there, I can think of few others I can say the same of. I will hire Mike and Dorsey for all of my future projects, without a moment's hesitation.
Description of Work: Round Da' House has done a wide range of projects for me heating and air conditioning evaluations, plumbing repairs, painting, removing an outdated house fan, repairing drywall, repairing doors, moving a thermostat, and installing electrical outlets. He has also installed ceramic tile and renovated a home which I had listed.
