Description of Work: My Terminix technician has been coming to my house for almost 17 years now. He is always punctual, courteous and takes the time to get my dogs accustomed to his presence and is always willing to return early if there is a problem. He spends time both inside and in the yard, especially where my dogs play. I know that I can count on him to do what needs doing, and I love that I get the same technician every time.

Description of Work: Terminix was chosen by my wife and myself because of there termite repair warranty. Terminix is a very large company but I feel that there is a lack of communication with their customers. You call into a central call center and can not talk to a manager or technition in a timely manner.

Description of Work: We live in Biloxi, MS and bought a new home some 8 years ago. Because we are in a termite zone we hired Terminix of Gulfport to do an initial inspection and treatment of our home at the cost of over $1200. We also obtained an annual service for $250.00 a year (for the first 3 years). After that it went up to $310.00 a year. We have been faithful customers and maintained the Terminix service for over 8 years. We are in the process of selling our home and are required to have a termite report. I called Terminix to have them do this inspection and provide the report. To my amazement they said it would cost me between $100 and $150 for the report. I was just blown away and dumfounded that a company that maintained the property for the past 8 years would have the audacity to charge such an inflated price just to fill out a different piece of paper for the purpose of a home closing. I explained to the person I was talking to that we were regular customers and this was not the first inspection. I asked if there was some sort of customer discount for this inspection, or if they could do the inspection and count this as the annual inspection. I was told NO. Even after explaining to the clerk that I was told by my Real estate Agent that he had a person that does this type inspection for $60.00. That did not in any way change her mind. I informed the clerk that I would not be using their service and take my business else ware. I for one will never use Terminix again. In our new home I will seek out another company that can be fair and support return business. I get the feeling that Terminix Corporate sets the policy on pricing. Well CORPORATE chew on this for a while – you just lost a customer for life. It’s not only termites that can tumble your house or should I say business. Their price really bugged me enough to join Angie's List.

Description of Work: Terminix pre-treated the ground where my home was built before building. I decided to maintain a contract with them after that. They come annually for inside and outside termite inspection. The annual cost includes inspection for both formosan and subterranean termites.

Description of Work: I use Terminix for termite control. They dug a hole and put some bate in it for the termites to eat and also dug a trench around the house where the pored gallons of poison for the termites which should last for several years. They come out once a year to monitor this.
