I am so appreciative for the service I received from Mize Plumbing Service today. They responded within an hour of my phone call. They were extremely professional. Most importantly they looked assessed the problem we were having, looked at the overall installation of our hot water heater (which was the cause for the leak), and explained what was happening as a result of the poor installation by another plumbing company. I will use Mize Plumbing for all of my future plumbing needs, and I highly recommend their services.

Heat Pump Issues: After three weeks of BELOW FREEZING temperatures (with us freezing, too), six ineffective (charged) trips from Memphis by the heat pump's manufacturer's service people, we gave up and called Mize Electric. We were freezing, and worried for the pipes. The previous 'service' men in desperation finally had required our pulling a new lead to the thermostat, which meant getting an electrician. Mr. Mize brought a local expert HVAC repairman. In an hour they identified the problems with the unit. Thermostat was FINE. They repaired the unit shortly after and fully restored heat. We then turned off the gas fireplace, the stove top water pot humidifiers, the 3000 watts of newly purchased auxiliary heaters, and permitted the repaired HVAC unit to do its job! You rock, Mize Electric!

A call went in around 1pm and he said he could come out later that evening or the next day. Called about 30 min later and said he moved his schedule around and was able to come out immediately. Checked the circuit breaker and wanted to be on the safe side and check the wiring. Cut a small hole in the pantry to reveal the wire that had been shorted. Fixed the problem, put the drywall back in and also helped to put the shelving bracket back. Was very professional and also gave us some ballpark pricing on potential future work. I would recommend to others.

Great. He was very nice and professional and he even gave my son a ride to work so he wouldn't have to walk or take the bus. I don't know what he charged because I'm renting and my landlord will pay his bill.

When other plumbers said they could not retrofit my gas line through the attic for a new gas stove (I have two attics, and the line had to run through both of them), Bubba Mize knew exactly what to do. He and his crew took care of it in one visit. They also returned the day that the stove was delivered to switch out the 220 circuit for the 110 required for the gas range. It was all done very professionally, Bubba even returned later, at no charge, when I had a question about the gas service.

1) For the first job where they added an outlet, they did a great job. They were quick and did exactly what I wanted. 2) For the second job where they were investigating an electrical issue, the electrician didn't get out to the house quite as quickly as I would have liked. I first reported the issue on Wednesday afternoon, and the electrician came by on Friday afternoon. He did correct the issue for a reasonable price.

Showed up same day and started the job right away. Job was simple enough and no issues occurred. Home sewage pipe was clogged nearly 100 ft away from the house, but Mr Mize's jet machine took care of it right away. Would have preferred a bit more containment of mess, but that could be asking a lot for sewage work.

Friendly response on the phone with prompt service visit. Because I was not onsite, he called to give me an update and explained the situation. He was thorough in his explanation and recommendations, gave a price quote and was comfortable with me taking time to discuss with others. There was no pressure to complete additional work but when asked to do so, he was able to complete the job within the week.
