Outstanding. Very personable and professional. Showed up on time and cleaned up after the job was complete. Great follow-up on minor details. We were very satisfied with quality of work.

It went very well. This was for the repair of a leak in the shower. There was a continuation of the leak after, but the owner returned in a timely manner to find and fix this problem.

Mr. Griffith was professional, prompt, pleasant, honest, fair, and his work was of the highest quality. I would recommend him to anybody.

I supplied the tile and grout. The job Jeff and his guys did was just unbelievably outstanding. The tile I picked for kitchen, extra room and hall was 12 x 24 which had to be laid in a brick like pattern and flowed from room to room. The way Jeff laid it made rooms look larger. It was beautiful. I had two tiles for bathrooms. Jeff laid the 18x18 light beige in half bathroom floor, beautiful. The surprise came when Jeff showed me what he had done to my custom bathroom that we had arranged for my handicapped husband. We had removed tub and extended shower floor out and had Jeff build him a bench. Jeff first off had to tear out someones else's inferior work and start from scratch with building the shower. I am so thankful because what Jeff found under that persons concrete floor was a shame but Jeff had warned me ahead of time of what he might find,thanks to his knowledge. But my surprise was that he took the two colored beige tiles and mixed them making a really pretty custom shower. He put 3/4 way up the shower wall the lighter 18x18 tile then two rows of the darker beige 12x12 tile, topping it with a row of the lighter 18x18. I wish I could post pictures. It was absolutely beautiful and a surprise to me. I wanted to hug his neck that day but didn't. But on the day I met him at bank to pay him for completion of job I could not hold back, I hugged his neck. The job was worth every penny and I am getting him back to do a mural backsplash behind my stove later. They were always so polite as well every time they saw me while on the job. Jeff and guys are number ONE.

I was very nervous about remodeling my master bathroom, because I changed the plumbing around, tore out the existing shower and refaced everything with tile. I had a design in mind for the shower with many tile variations and decorative horizontal touches. Jeff helped me make choices with my tile selections and helped guide me thru the process. He suggested the larger floor tiles that matched the shower tiles and so the whole room just flows and looks beautiful. The large walk in shower now has a gorgeous design including inset shampoo boxes, shelving, bench and pebble floor. The coordinating tub surround looks beautiful next to the shower and he continued the horizontal design (from the shower) as a backsplash on the tub. As the project progressed, there needed to be adjustments here and there, sometimes including tear outs and redoing. Every time there was an issue, Jeff calmly and professionally handled the problem for us. No questions asked, no hesitation, no problem----what a pro! We also had him tear off the construction grade tile that was on the front of two fireplaces and replace it with marble tile. It looks amazing! He does a beautiful job. He's very consciencious and takes pride in his work---as he should. He took very good care of us in this project as it was a huge learning curve, having never done anything like this. He and Brian showed up on time every day, worked very hard all day, and then cleaned up quickly and nicely when they were done. He was very attentive to our needs and detail oriented on the project. Everyone who has seen the master bath and have said it's the prettiest bathroom in the entire Memphis area!

Jeff Griffith gave a good price, met the project schedule (the work was completed over 3 days), and most importantly, the workmanship was of the highest quality. Jeff was a pleasure to work with and always very courteous and professional. The shower was torn out and everything replaced including the pan . My husband has Parkinson"s and Jeff assisted us in making the shower safer for him by putting in a bench and safety bars. He also put mosacic tile in the floor of the shower and around the shower which really made it pop. Jeff and Daniel, his assistant, were always on time, efficient and did beautiful work. They were very considerate of cleanliness in the house. We plan on having him do another bathroom for us. Would highly recommend.

the tile company emailed me to perform the service on a Saturday which was inconvenient for me. I rescheduled at his request for the following Saturday (June 20). He never showed nor contacted me for another reschedule. I am pretty upset and wish my money returned for service not performed

Jeff is pleasant,polite, clean cut and prompt. It was a pleasure having him and his assistant doing work in my house as they were clean, respectful of everything, and didn't mind my dogs barking at them from behind closed doors. Jeff and his assistant Daniel did a fabulous job on all three of my bathrooms. They tore up the old tile and carpeting, replaced the wall board with dura rock or some kind of cement wall board, made sure everything was level and neat. He didn't balk at using my .80 tile and my need to stay with in a budget. He made cost saving suggestions, which I appreciated! He was always checking to make sure I liked the work they were doing, and was good to come back after the plumbers needed some just-laid tile removed so they could replace a valve in the wall. In the midst of our install process his daughter was hospitalized but this didn't keep him from showing up for work. He has a strong work ethic, basically saying that he needed to support his family, and that he did it by working. He was willing to come on weekends, and I trusted him and Daniel enough to leave them in the house while I ran errands. I wish he did more than lay tile, he is a fantastic worker and a nice guy all around.

l Mr. Griffith appeared on first day with his help, tore down the old tile and shower, that was fine. He appeared on second day and rebuild drywall, placed the pan and cement in the bottom. The plastic pan wasn't really the pan, it was plastic sheath that can underlies the floor, less than ideal - buyer beware. Still, within reason. On third day, Mr. Griffith and help redid the tiles, which is when the problems started. The door size wasn't correctly measured - they made the door frame narrower than door by about 1/2 inch. Second, he used shlutzer edging, but instead lining up shlutzer edge to the tile (see company website), to save time and effort, he used paper to space out shlutzer with the tiles (see pic with remnant papers:)), that's not how it should be installed. When we approached him about it, he stated he will 'just grout the spaces and make it look fine', which in a doorframe would fall apart in time with thermal and physical stresses. We asked him to redo it correctly, but he wanted us to cover costs of material. We said no, he installed it incorrectly, he should cover the costs of material. After back and talk conversation, he reluctantly agreed to fix these things. He redid the door to correct size with correct shlutzer installation, however, he didn't grout or finish the door that day, install shower head/knobs, install the door. He wouldn't leave the house until he was paid the rest of money, my wife wouldn't agree to that, she paid him part of the money so he would leave. My wife was concerned he wouldn't show up on fourth day to finish the job. Sure enough, next day Mr. Griffith showed up with a bill for another $1100 - explaining that he now needed to be paid for shower pan, shower head installation, door installation, etc. All of this was agreed upon in initial price assessment, we have it in electronic form. My wife wouldn't pay him for that, told him to do what he agreed to do and be paid the final $400 or leave. I exchanged phone call with him and reiterated the same. Mr. Griffith left. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. If you end up hiring them because there is no one else: I. Sign a contract with specify amount of money and duties. II. Only pay 1/3 upfront, 1/3 upon completion of job if you are satisfied, 1/3 upon end of project - otherwise he can walk out on you.

Mr Griffith was timely and professional. The job was done to my and my husband's satisfaction. If I have needs for tile work in the future I will use him again!

Found Jeff on Angie's List. He came over and provided excellent price for installing tile on my kitchen floor. I purchased the tile and grout from local floor store and scheduled Jeff to install. Jeff and his assistant arrived on time and went straight to work. They moved out the furniture and did prep work first. They were careful to remove quarter round floor trim with no damage. Tile install and grout work was perfect and looks great. They came back next morning and finished up. Very happy with the results and will use Jeff again if needed. We highly recommend Jeff for floor installation. Happy to have found him.

Had to reschedule due to personal matters, but was very prompt and eager to reschedule and meet my needs. Very nice and professional. Provided expertise and an economical plan. Did not try to up-sell me, just wanted to meet my needs and give me real prices.

Jeff and his assistant did a great job with our bathroom. He was punctual, communicated well about any changes or difficulties, and very affordable. I'll definitely use this business for future jobs.

Jeff was very professional and friendly. Jeff and his crew did a fantastic job on replacing my old bathroom floors and removing the 30 year old toilets. Not only are they punctual, they are reasonably priced too. I am planning to continue with them to do ceramic tile in my entry way and installing laminate in my living room.

They were fine! There was an issue the first time they were scheduled to come. They called and told me this. When they were able to come out for the job there were going to be some additional fees for the work, but they waived that in light of the scheduling problem.

It is going great and hope to find the tile this week so I can get this remodel over with and quit getting emails from Angie EVERY DAY asking me to please rate Griffith Tile and Flooring ! Mount Electric , on the other hand , the other service that I purchased , have not heard from in over a month ! I guess I can write them off along with my $79.00 !

They were excellent and I would refer them to anybody. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and in a timely manner.

The work has yet to be performed. I am going to have save up for the repair I need done.

They were awesome. They were great to work with and I will be having them back. They were very nice and I love the floors. They got the job done in about and day and a half. They cleaned up absolutely everything.

Mr. Griffith and his associates were very professional and punctual. They completed there work in a few days and his quote was very close to the actual cost, the only reason it was off at all was because of some water damage i had under the floor ( which to be honest i expected before he got under there, so it wasn't a shock ). He removed and hauled away all of the old bathroom tile and the old bathtub and over the next few days installed the new tile and it looks great. My wife and I are very happy with the whole process and the end result. I would definitely recommend Griffith Tile and Flooring.

They came out in January and I had to pay for the materials which wasn't something that initially budgeted for so I spent about $127. They ended up giving me a discount. So they added $56 for cleaning solution and premium sealer. But because of the screw up in them not calling me back thy gave me half price. I'd say they did a good job.

I called Jeff and scheduled a time to get an estimate for the work. He arrived on schedule, was pleasant and professional, and I had an estimate all within 24 hours of my initial call. When we completed our countertop installation(a different company) and were ready for the tile installation, we called Jeff. He was available the following day! We couldn't believe it! It was even a Saturday! We had planned on installing some lighting under our cabinets before the backsplash installation so we attempted to finish this the night before. We did some damage that resulted in having to call an electrician for an early morning visit. We had to call Jeff the morning of the installation to let him know there was no lighting in the kitchen but an electrician was on the way to fix it. Jeff was quite understanding and patiently waited while we fixed our mess. We put him about an hour and a half behind schedule but we heard no complaints. When they got to work they asked questions and verified design plans as they went. The estimate Jeff quoted was accurate. They cleaned up the mess and gave us instructions on sealing (which we planned to do ourselves) and care of the tile. A stressful 24 hours on our part resulted in exactly what we wanted! We talked to Jeff about some future bathroom tile work and will be calling him again.
