Services was very good they came out right before 5:00 PM and did not charge me extra they have a flat price per job done which can or can or can not go in your favor. Also the plumber told me about a product call Drain Care to prevent further blockage problems from grease. It is best to pour hot grease in a metal can and then throw it away or put it in a clean can so you can store it for reuse. Pouring grease down the drain is is a exellent way to stop up your drain!!

It was around 3:15 PM when I called, and was worried that I would have to suffer another night with no drains to use in the house. The nice lady that I talked to assured me that someone would be out within an hour, and a tech did show within the hour. He got right to work, looking for a cleanout that we were previously unable to find. He ended up getting his camera out, climbed onto the roof, and ran the camera down. He assured me that there must be a cleanout because of the kind of connector at the base of the vent pipe. So we went back down to an area that me and others previously had looked for a cleanout, and we (okay, I), found a cleanout. He then got his auger (snake) out, ran it through the line, and had my drains cleaned out promptly. He was most courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and an asset to the company. My only two complaints, and they were minor, were (1), he didn't have a new drain cleanout plug to replace the damaged one that he removed, but my wife picked one up on the way home (around $3.00), and (2), the base pricing for the service call is a little on the steeper side compared to others. In defense of the technician, he said he was using someone else's truck and either didn't know where the plugs were, or perhaps they had none available on that truck. Regardless, I was delighted to provide my own plug, and I was equally pleased to pay the price considering my earlier experience and the lateness in the day. I would not hesitate to call Roto Rooter again.

We were having issues with the main line on our sewer backing up periodically, about once every one to two months. Over a period of several months, we had Roto Rooter out on a few different occasions to clean the line out and investigate the problems. They provided us several different explanations as to the problem, each more costly than the next (kids had put junk in the pipes, roots were growing into the line, the main line was cracked). We spent several hundred dollars to Roto Rooter until they finally gave us a very large estimate ($2500) to make major repairs on the main line. We decided to wait until the next time it plugged up and called a plumber we found using Angie's List. This plumber indicated that the problem was simply that not enough flow was going through the lines, and adjusted the flow on the toilets. This issue alleviated the problem more than any of the much more expensive issues Roto Rooter had worked.

They were one of the few plumbers that I know that take credit cards. They were very responsive and punctual. They were very professional. I would recommend them.
