Description of Work: I have an annual service contract ($175/yr - $15 coupon) and I get 2 visits per year to clean, replace filters and assure proper function of my heat and AC. Both visits have been very professional - the first visit averted problems with my AC condensation pan being about to overflow in the attic! I intend to keep this company for my annual service. No problems at all and they even called to remind me it was time for my winter check-up. Not since I left Atlanta have a found a Jackson company that was proactive like this. It makes life much easier to have a service partner!!

Environment Masters was prompt and responsive to our needs. We would recommend Environment Masters to all our friends for their plumbing needs, as well.
Description of Work: Environment Masters helped us so much when our garbage disposal went out. A serviceman came out promptly and evaluated the problem for us. He then told us we would have to replace the garbage disposal. He was extremely helpful! He even told us if we bought the garbage disposal ourselves, we would save money. So, we purchased the garbage disposal and the serviceman came out to install it.

Description of Work: I called Environment Masters one morning after seeing they were the top rated Air Conditioning company on Angie's List. They were at my house in a reasonable amount of time, fixed my air conditioning, and charged me a VERY good price for the work. The man from the company was professional and polite. + -1 moreThe serviceman arrived promptly, listened when I told him my concerns, and set to work. He was finished in about an hour, and I feel assured that the problem has been resolved.
Description of Work: Our 15 year old AC unit needed mainentance and a leak in the attic portion of the unit needed investigation and repair. The serviceman changed the filters, cleaned the pipes, checked gauges, and freon levels.

He found a freon leak in one. The one needed freon and said that it would need to be replaced since it is very old.

+ -1 moreI called Environment Masters after my AC failed on a Saturday. They came out on Sunday and determined that the fan motor had failed. Unfortunately, it was out of warranty and they did not have the part available,so it had to be ordered. I paid for it to be shipped overnight, and once it arrived they came out and got it installed immediately. In the end, they charged me about $100 less than what they initially gave me as an estimate, and did not charge me for the overnight shipment. A few weeks later, the AC fan started making a similar noise to what it was making right before it died originally. I called Environment Masters, and they were out that afternoon. The tech discovered that a small piece of the bad motor must have come loose when it failed, and had gotten left behind and caught in the new fan. They ordered another new motor, and came out and replaced it. Obviously, this was all free of charge. They were prompt, courteous, and efficient. I would definitely recommend them.

The technician worked on my unit for four hours without break and had the unit fixed by 5:00. The estimate given to me was very close to the final cost. I was very happy with the service provided by Environment Masters and would use them again.

+ -1 moreThe tech was very friendly and got right to business. My only complaint is that was already well into the job when I went out to see what the "damage" was going to be. I usually expect to be told what I can expect the cost to be prior to work being started. In reality I would have paid almost anything to get it fixed because the temps had been hovering close to 100, but it would have been nice to have been nice to have been given an estimate first. In the techs defense, I didn't specifically request an estimate, I just took it for granted because I've always been given them before. Most importantly though, I have no complaints with the service and my a/c is now working perfectly! I would definitely call Environment Masters again.
Description of Work: Technician replaced bad condenser fan motor and 7.5 mfd capacitor. Also added 2 lbs of freon to a/c unit.

+ -1 moreNoticed that the AC was not cooling properly - thermostat set on 73 and was not able to keep it below 76. Found this company on the list including a $25 discount and well rated, so called them at mid afternoon. They had a tech en route within about 2 hours (called first to let us know he was coming). He was very professional. He told us that there were no obvious problems with the AC, that it appeared that the AC just needed routine maintenance performed to it. He did everything within about an hour, and the AC has been working great since.
Description of Work: They performed basic maintenance on the AC unit - new filters, cleaned the condensers, and other general cleaning/maintenance.

Description of Work: When I purchased my home in 2006 I had a home inspection done to make sure everything was in good working order. I was told I needed to contact a local company to verify my heat/ac was working properly so I called Environment Masters. They have been a local business in our area for a long time and have a good reputation. The unit needed freon and everything else appeared fine. More recently my unit decided to freeze up during the night completely cutting off my air conditioning. I called Environment Masters to see if they could check out my unit since they had looked at it before. I spoke with Warren Duvall, a comfort specialist for Environment Masters, and he scheduled a time that very day to check out my unit. It had thawed out and was working again, but not cooling very well. My unit needed a coil replacement. Warren also went room to room checking to see if the ceiling grilles were positioned correctly. I didn't realize this could make such a difference in cooling my home. Within a couple of days my unit had a new coil and was working good as new. They also installed a ventilation fan to pull out the hot air in the attic. I have to say the company did an excellent job. They were prompt, considerate, and get an A+ for customer service.
