Description of Work: The quality of work was good. I don't like the way they bill for work. They billed me for time that the serviceman wasn't at my House. They billed me $90.00/Hr. from the time the serviceman left their shop, to include travel to my house, until he finished the job. I was billed for time that he took to go and get parts. I don't think that's fair and I won't be using them again. I was billed for four(4) hours but he only worked Three hrs. and 10mins.

Description of Work: Inspected and tested a second floor bathroom that had leaked in the past. Renovations provided us with an opportunity to inspect the plumbing from both sides because the first floor ceiling had been removed.

Description of Work: My regular plumber was unable to unstop my kitchen sink with the equipment he had. He recommended a service that had more comprehensive equipment, since he thought it was further down the drain line. We talked at length, and he mentioned Pierce Plumbing. He had worked with them years ago, before he opened his own business.

Description of Work: Most recently had water heater develop sizable leak. Called late in afternoon. They asked if water could be shut off to heater and I told them I had already done that. They were there at 7:30 next morning with a replacement. Repair was completed promptly and professionally. The price for heater and labor very reasonable. I have used Pierce the last 25 years for both new construction (x2) and repairs. There have been middle to the night emergency water leak repairs. Always excellent service.

Description of Work: We have a kitchen sink that is hard to unclog. Their first worker couldn't get the job done with the equipment he had with him, but he got another worker their shortly who fixed the problem.

Description of Work: We had copper pipe in our concrete slab. The pipe had a leak inside the slab. We had to reroute the water supply overhead.

Description of Work: Mr Pierce came out to service my washing machine that was under warranty. The manufacturer had scheduled another company that I had had an unpleasant experience with and they didn't show up. Mr. Pierce was here the next day and quickly found out what was blocking my machine so that it wasn't draining and then showed me how to do it the next time. He also gave me advice on some other things having to do with my washer and dryer. Very nice and I felt comfortable with his work and his advice.

Description of Work: I was having problems with my ac leaking and I wanted to find a company that would and could come out as soon as possible. I signed onto my Angie's List account and found Pierce Plumbing and I sent them an email. (Granted I did that the day before Labor Day) and by Tuesday I had a response in my inbox my Tuesday morning (Thank you Mary- you were great!) I was able to explain my situation and wanted to set up a time to have the coils on my return system cleaned. By Wednesday I had set up a time with Mary to have the guys come out on Friday, Sept 7th. Just like clockwork they arrived on time, were very nice and professional, came it assessed the problem and took care of everything they even cleaned and check my freon on the outside of the unit. I am so happy I found this company on Angie's List and YES, I would recommend Buck Pierce and his partner to come out and assist you with your ac needs. Description of Work: Our back bedrooms bathroom was unclogged and flushed thoroughly. Also, outside, the pipes were power flushed to the city line.

Description of Work: They replaced the water line from the kitchen sink to the cut off valve on my back patio. They had to cut a two foot section of the slab.

Description of Work: Pierce has done a number of jobs for me over the years. They have installed plumbing fixtures, including a new shower drain and a new shower valve. Most recently, they installed a new sewer cleanout at the street. They do a great job for a fair price. You will not be disappointed.

Description of Work: They unclogged our overflow valve in our air conditioner unit and fixed a leaking sink.

Description of Work: We found out that we had a broken drain pipe under our slab. Pierce Plumbing came highly recommended. We called them, they came out the next day, assessed our needs and got to work on the job the next day. They had to open the slab, fix the pipe and repair the slab. They were very careful to preserve as much flooring as they could and even cleaned up the worksite each day before they left. The two guys who worked on the project were very friendly, knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right.

Description of Work: I needed to have my gas hot water heartier vented to the outside, it had a double insulated pipe but it was not connected properly. The plumber came over assessed the problem went to Lowes to pick up the correct pieces and in minutes he was back and the job was one. The second problem I had was a leaky faucet in one of my bathrooms all it needed was a seal. Very simple jobs for the right amount of money. I would recommend and use Pierce again for any of my plumbing needs they were great, timely and very friendly.

Description of Work: Our plumbing developed a new problem. THIS time, INSTEAD of leaks, the entire house's plumbing QUIT draining and our washing machine backed up (by-passing our kitchen's drains and another full bathroom's three drains) spilling raw sewage into our master bathroom's bath tub, and also backing up through our master bathroom's toilet onto the floor. Daniel again came out and after some serious digging in our front and back yards, cleared our drains of extensive/massive tree root growth, replaced a couple sections of underground pipe, and had our home up and draining in short order! Not only did the repairs come quickly, but upon completion of the repairs, when back-filling the excavated plumbing pits, hardly any sign of the pits remained!

Description of Work: I did not personally deal with these people, my wife did. But she was very enthusiastic in reporting her experience to me. Other than having to postpone the appointment, which they called about, everything was excellent. The people showed up on time, found and fixed the problem, and did it without any 'extras'. By this I mean that they did only what was neccessary to fix the problem and did not do anything that was not needed. They took care of our issues with much simpler repairs than I thought it would take, saving me countless $$. I cannot recommend Pierces Plumbing in Hattiesburg, Ms. highly enough.

Description of Work: THIS COMPANY IS GREAT!!! Our home had a 'COLLECTION' of on-going plumbing issues and problems, the least of which was a triple monthly water bill. Given our experiences with our home, I had NO DOUBT the repair(s) would at the very least require half of our home to be re-plumbed. If not that, then at least the buried water line to our in-ground pool would have to be replaced; anyway we looked at it, the plumber's visit was going to be very costly!!! We were SOOO wrong!!! My husband and I are thrilled the fixes were so fast, so inexpensive, and so complete! We had one out-door faucet replaced, another out-door faucet only needed to be tightened, both toilets had the interior tank's parts replaced, and after 10 months of next-to-no-hot-water-pressure in our master bath, a simple minor plumbing fix returned our hot water pressure to it's former glory. All this work, accomplished in under an hour, and our home is working 100%. 'Daniel' was the responding plumber and he answered all of my questions clearly and with great sincerity! This is a great company to do business with; and when we get around to up-dating our bathroom(s) to "spa quality', THIS is the company we will use! These people are extremely well-priced, professional, timely, and a pleasure to do business with!!!
