Joe communicated with me regularly after I purchased 2 Big Deals for his services. He asked my advice and I asked his on which doors to get and how to enhance the look of the top of the door area (he brought casing with end caps, which look very nice and help obscure the tracks). I had hired him for a total of 6 hours, including the time involved to pick up the doors etc., which I could not do for myself, so I had some "handyman" types of work for him to complete the time. He helped me get done 3 other items I've needed for some time, plus he was up front about what he could and could not do for me. If I need true remodeling at some point, I will definitely keep Joe's Premier Home Design & Remodeling company in mind.

Great. The project did require a trip to the hardware store before we got started, but we had everything ready and the project was completed very quickly.

Joe Moehlenhoff was very prompt and courteous. We spoke the day we purchased the "Big Deal" and found a convenient time for us both. He called to let us know he was coming, was prompt, and stayed over the time we purchased to finish the job. We had some baseboards to put in and caulking them. He was very good at it, worked efficiently, and we were very happy with his work. He was willing to do any of the last details that we needed to finish up our basement. Very pleasant and great to work with.

The experience was a very positve one. The work was started, Joe was very professional, he was on the job site to over see every step of the project from start to finish.

Mr. Joe Moehlenhoff arrived promptly and was courteous, friendly and professional. He charged about $300 less than any other contractor and we were grateful to get the job done for under $1000. The old appliance was a combo wall oven and microwave and we decided to get a higher quality single wall oven and put in a shelf to hold a counter top microwave with a trim kit to have a "wall mounted" microwave. This required a bit of adjustment to the cabinet, a shelf to be put in and a receptacle to be installed to power the microwave. He really went out of his way to match the wood trim perfectly. There was a point where we did not see eye to eye and he stopped, listened, stated why he thought it was best, listened again then accepted my objection an fixed it. I appreciated the exchange. He was very professional. All in all, I would say anyone would have a positive experience with this contractor. Thanks Joe!

We have been wanting to finish the lower level of our split level home since we moved in. First, we wanted to make sure we wouldn't have a flooding problem. He got us a waterproofing estimate. However, he was able to tell us that by changing our gutters, and installing another downspout, we could divert the water away from our house more effectively. This saved us a lot of money. We didn't have a lot of space to work with, but Joe and his team did a great job at maximizing our space. By finishing our lower level, we were losing our indoor storage. Joe built up the floor in a section of our garage so we could use that space for storage. We are thrilled with the way our lower level turned out. It is very warm and cozy. Joe was great to work with. Always professional, punctual, and receptive to our ideas. We couldn't be happier with his work. If we ever need a contractor in the future, we plan on giving Joe a call. We look forward to spending a lot of time in our newly finished lower level.

The remodeling of our kitchen went well. Joe's strength is suggesting ideas to enhance overall design and working within budgets. I would recommend Joe to anyone looking to remodel or upgrade as his experience and creativity are strengths in any remodeling project. We were pleased to find a contractor who could walk us through the kitchen remodeling process, making suggestions along the way. He is conscientious to customers' needs and is good in the area of custom service.

They are one of two final companies that we are working with. They are still in the process of working with us. Joe was fair, innovative, professional and agreeable and that is why he is still in the running. They have been out more than once. The only drawback in working with them is that he always insists on sitting down with both my husband and me and that can be difficult logistically. We have five children and it is just really difficult to try and get both of us together at the same time for an extended period. That is how Joe insists on doing it and that is really the only drawback, and he is the only contractor that has insisted on doing it that way. I can understand why he doesn't want to put in a lot of work and then have us tell him that it was not what we had talked about. It is a perfectly reasonable thing and you don't want to be doing the work three or four times because the husband and wife are not in agreement on what they want, but it has just made it a little harder to schedule Joe at times. We find that he is very amenable to listening to listening to ideas and is flexible on the design and tries to steer us towards things that would help add value to the home as well as meet the needs. He is not as familiar with options for adaptive building as another contractor seems to be but he has been really great about trying to find things out and be flexible. I think that we would have picked Joe real quick if it had been a straightforward project. The project is still evolving and we are leaning more towards another contractor because he is just so innovative and thorough in his research of different special needs options.

They are going to do a total remodeling of my two bathrooms which will include new plumbing fixtures, a toilet vanity, a ceramic tile flooring and painting. They gave us an estimate for that about a month ago. Joe Moehlenhoff is the owner and I was very impressed with him. He was upfront, made suggestions and kind of let us in the right direction on what would be best for the size of the rooms. We just needed to go and pick up the fixtures.

Joe Moehlenhoff of Premier Home Design recently completed my last remodeling project which was my master bathroom. As in the past, he did an excellent job always being meticulous in everyway. Joe walked me through every step of the project from choosing my cabinet style, counter top and shower base color, floor tile, bath fixtures, shower enclosure, faucets. Joe is the most honest and caring contractor I have ever known. The quality of his work is excellent and I couldn't be more pleased. Joe has now remodeled my guest bathroom, an office/sewing room, complete kitchen and last but certainly not least my master bathroom and I have enjoyed every project. Thanks to Joe and Premier Home Design my home is absolutely beautiful and I am truly proud to show it off to my family and friends. I highly recommend to any and all home improvement projects.

Joe did a wonderful job, as always! He is incredibly meticulous; really paying attention to every detail. He?s not cheap, but not at the top either. He?s also great about following up. He?s happy to come back to address anything, if necessary. I will happily continue to work with him. I?ve recommended him to many others with great success!

They had good customer service and their price was competitive. They were one of the lower quotes, we just ended up going with someone our real estate agent recommended. They were very nice over the phone and competitive in price.

Joe was so wonderful to work with on my kitchen design and remodeling project. He spent many, many hours on my design to be sure it was exactly what would work the best for me. Joe's work is beyond perfection, he did so much research on my appliances, cabinets, lighting, flooring & backsplash,plumbing, and electrical specification to be sure they would all fit properly and all the installations would go smoothly. I now have the dream kitchen that my husband and I had started planning years ago, before he passed away. I still have one more project that I need to do and I guarantee the only contractor that I will ever consider using will be Joe Moehlenhoff.

My bathoom has never had any work done to it in 30+ years. The wall tile was falling off and there was mold behind the walls.Joe Moehlenhoff and his crew came in and completely tore everything out of my bathroom. He helped us pick out all new fixtures, faucets, bathtub, toilet, sink, and cabinet. He is very professional and the work was done in a timely manner. He always cleaned up and made sure everything was in order before he left everyday. I would highly recommend Premier Home Design& Remodeling LLC for any work you need. He is great to work with and work is done in a timely manner. I am very pleased with my new bathroom and will use Joe Moehlenhoff in the future for other remodeling.

We interviewed 4 different re-modelers. One never got back to me, Joe Moehlenhoff was one of the remaining three that did. Of the 3, Joe is the only one that offered ideas above and beyond what I had in mind giving me options, the others basically were working with what I had originally told them. All 3 bids came back and were roughly equivalent, but based on the responsiveness and interest Joe took in the job, we decided to move forward with him. The work consisted of updating a 25 year old kitchen that for the most part was in pretty decent shape. We were looking to add a bank of cabinets in an open area and to convert a tiny pantry closet into something with more storage. My existing cabinets were in good shape, but I had an enclosed area for our refrigerator that I wanted to expand to allow for installing a new larger model. Our countertops were laminate and we wanted to replace them with some kind of stone (quartz, granite). We were also looking to update lighting in the area. Joe was very amiable in suggesting options for what we wanted to do. He was the only remodeler who suggested going with a pantry cabinet rather than just creating a larger closet. He had us deal directly with his suppliers so we knew exactly what we were getting and would not be surprised. The job was originally scheduled to take roughly two weeks, however due to supply problems beyond Joe's control (longer lead time on cabinets, out of stock on tile), the process took quite a bit longer. However, during this time, Joe was in constant contact with me to keep me up to date and ensure that I wasn't being "forgotten". His quality of work and attention to detail were exceptional. As an example, he was not happy with the drywall work where a new wall was added. He had the work re-done by a second individual to ensure the butt seam is not noticeable. Ultimately, the completed kitchen is about as much as I could have hoped for. Joe brings in qualified people to do the specialty work, he's responsive to all concerns and very flexible in working with you. He's on site when he says he will be and leaves a clean work area at the end of the day. I would highly recommend him for work and would not hesitate to use him for a future project.

He does an outstanding job. Even if he subcontracts work, he is constantly checking in and makes sure everything is going well. My son has also used him for a very extensive remodel, which is how I heard of him. I am very pleased with all of the work that he has done for me, and I have recommended him to my neighbor for a 3 room remodel project. The crown molding that he did in the past included painting the ceiling and was a very involved project because of the size of the room.

We had significant water damage that involved front door, entry floor into subflooring, (leaking into basement with harsh directional rain) beneathe the door. Complete removal damaged flooring, sub-flooring, entire door entrace including framing and sidelights. Door unit replaced and caulked thoroughly. Choose ceramic tiling for new flooring instead of wood floor. Have had numerous compliments on how nice the door looks from the curb. The tile guys did an absolute beautiful job and I love the ceramic entry way. Joe Moehlenhoff is very professional, thorough, complete in cost estimates, and knows the business. He is not done until the customer is completely satisfied with the job and results. Would highly recommend his work.

Joe Moehlenhoff did an absolutely superb job from the beginning of the project all the way to the end. His workmanship is extremely meticulous, every detail has to be perfect and it truly is. Joe is always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have while the project progresses and you never have to wonder 'where is my contractor today?' because he is always available either my phone or in person. His pricing is reasonable and his entire work ethic is phenomenal. I highly recommend Joe Moehlenhoff for any home improvement project because I believe that every project he does is done as if it were in his own home.

The job proceeded just as Joe described. No surprises. Managed in a very professional manner. He was right about the sub-floor needing to be partially replaced due to water damage over the years. The destruction went fairly fast. He was always conscious of picking up and leaving the area neat. He kept me informed of the progress which I appeared. The change was incrediable.
