My wife and I really appreciated Joe's knowledge of the Of all construction And design protocols. Joe's active interest and participation in the project were very evident with his daily contact and follow-up an explanation of all the things that were being done and needed to be done. I It was evident from the first day that Joe took ownership in the project. he always had great suggestions and uses good judgment and presented great options available to us that were helpful in making decisions. Wonderful experience in dealing with Premier homes would highly recommend them to other homeowners that are considering projects and want a real quality job and real quality company and a great guy to work with.  + -1 moreThe service and quality of work were excellent, as we have come to expect. This is the third time we have used Premier, and we were just as pleased this time as we have been in the past. We were planning a party, and really needed the kitchen floor to be ready in time. He went above and beyond to make sure that happened.
Description of Work: Our refrigerator water line broke and our kitchen was flooded. The floor was destroyed, as well as the ceiling in the basement underneath. Joe and his crew pulled up the old floor in our kitchen and replaced it. They also repaired the ceiling and dry wall underneath.

 + -1 moreJoe did what he said he would do, Communication of plan and progress and what to expect were good. He is very personable and very easy to reach. If they were any problems (even small) he made an effort to correct them quickly to our satisfaction. Some of the subcontractors he employed did make some messes (carpet) and floors and he made a point to make sure it didn't happen again. Unfortunately now that the work is done we will have to have dining/living room carpet cleaned. Our time line was a little bit longer than we thought because by the time our counter was installed we had to wait a little longer for the tile man to be available. Joe was very good at establishing trust with us early on and we felt like we could be honest even blunt with him if necessary.

 + -1 moreAfter a great deal of work because it involved a great deal of work, the wiring that he had completed was actually not satisfactory. At some point I'm going to have to redo it. He was very pleasant, it was just that he'd been here for how many hours doing the work and to the very last minute, I asked what should have been a pretty obvious question to explain that he was going to put in an electrical plug and wiring to a cabinet ironing board. He did that but he did it in such a way so that you have to turn on a light switch in another room to get it to work. I wanted it to be continuous voltage to the outlet of the ironing board and to fix that would have required another hour or so of work. Although he did get me halfway there, it wasn't where I want it to be.
Description of Work: I used Premier Home Design & Remodeling LLC. He put in an electrical outlet for me.

 + 0 moreFirst off I would like to say I cannot say enough good things about joe Moehlenhoff he is by far the best contractor I have ever dealt with. He was very good at everything he did, when we needed changes to the plan he never complained he just did it. We were dealing with another contractor who was just tons of problems. That held up joes work he never complained about that which I know had to be a pain. Joe even went as far as to help us with all the issues the other contractor had, he gave us very helpful advice. But best of all his work in very nice and neat and looked very nice in our house. Joe also worked around our busy life which I know has to be a pain, but as always he is nice and very helpful. Take it from me this is a contractor u want to work for. I have had many bad contractors and was so very pleasantly surprised to find joe he made up for all the bad one's. He will be doing all the work to our house in future.

Joe also gave us a bid for replacing some of our vinyl siding on the exterior of our home and we were pleased with what he offered in terms of price and suggestions.  + 5 moreJoe provided excellent and outstanding support during the entire course of the project, from inception and conceptual layout, all thru final installation & clean-up. He paid special attention to the smallest detail and very through in every step of the planning and execution of the project. Joe is the consummate craftsmen, with a wealth of experience and project leadership skills, and it shows throughout each of the completed projects. He went above and beyond to make sure all elements of the project were coordinated, particularly knowing that we were on a tight schedule with multiple second and third tier sub-contractors needing to execute flawlessly. Joe maintained a very clean and orderly project site throughout all phases, and was always present or available. His use of highly skilled and experienced artisans, particularly the ceramic tile installer and painter, were visibly demonstrated by the professional and glowing results of the final project. Joe was ever mindful of cost, schedule and quality, and made sure that all (3) were balanced equally when making critical decisions. Would personally trust and have high confidence in Joe to perform ANY future home remodelling project, no matter the size or cost.

Our doorway renovation involved ripping out a sliding glass door track that used to separate our living room from an exterior porch and replacing them with a beautiful oak threshold. Because of the dimensions of the doorway, Joe needed to custom build the threshold and patch sheet rock along the walls. He also installed some trim around the top of our kitchen cabinets. Because of some unexpected problems, Joe had to come out an additional time to finish this job. He put in a lot of work and was very professional throughout the whole project. The final products looked great - we are very pleased with the work!

 + -1 moreMr. Moellenhoff from Premier Home Design and Remodeling called and set up a date to do the work. We went over the tasks I wanted and I thought I had the supplies available. After he arrived he noted we needed some other things and he went to the hardware store for the proper supplies. He quickly completed some minor jobs, but with the 2 doors and large window frame he painted he did an excellent job and cleaned the entire area. He walked with me to identify what I wanted done and after completion we walked through to make sure the work met with my approval. Mr. Moellenhoff was pleasant, courteous, prompt and most efficient. I would hire him again for whatever jobs I want done.
Description of Work: The jobs Mr. Moellenhoff did for me including putting up a clock, fixing a sliding drawer in the kitchen, putting a cover on a closet ceiling light as well as painting a 2 doors and a window frame. He was meticulous.

He was very prompt, very professional and courteous, and extremely competent in assessing the required repairs, materials needed, and then carrying out that work. Before meeting at the work site on May 7, Joe was in contact with me both by phone and e-mail. I cannot say enough good things about this company, based on my meeting with Joe and while he was completing the repairs. My husband and I will definitely contact Joe and his company in the future for our remodeling needs.
Description of Work: Contractor and owner of Premier Home Design & Remodeling, Joe Moehlenhoff, assisted me in purchasing the correct materials needed to do all the work requested. Before beginning the work, Joe performed lead tests as required by law. He left the Lead Warning pamphlet for occupants (this is a rental house). There were 2 areas of work performed at this house. Removed/replaced rotted wood around bathroom window; sealed with caulk. Cleaned the work area thoroughly after finishing, and instructed me about how & when to paint/touch up the replaced areas. The front storm door of the house was not closing properly. Joe took the entire door off and basically rebuilt the frame which had shifted severely. He showed me that the storm door and wooden frame had been improperly installed (by former owner), and he very carefully re-worked the entire frame areas and re-hung the door. The storm door now works beautifully. Joe was a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt, very professional, and extremely competent in assessing the required repairs, and then carrying out that required work. Before meeting at the work site, Joe was in contact with me both by telephone and e-mail. I cannot say enough good things about this company, based on my meeting with Joe and while he was completing the repairs. I know we will definitely contact Joe and his company in the future for any remodeling we will be needing.

 + 0 moreI purchased 2 of the 3 hour deals. Joe removed my old paneling. When he saw that we needed drywall he referred a drywall guy and tape guy who did outstanding work. He also noticed that my step was broken and he got the custom wood needed to repair it. He worked on things that were not his specialty, but he did a good job and I would use him again.

Joe was very personable and professional from start to finish. He called me within a day of my purchase of the deal to introduce himself and ask how he could help. We spoke on the phone at length about the project, and then we set a date for him to look at the closet in person. On his way to my home he gave me a call and then arrived right on time. He laid out all the options (material, etc) and then was able to complete the project that very day within time budget. Great result - the closet turned out exactly how I envisioned! Will definitely keep the company in mind for future remodeling projects.
