I was so pleased with the work. Paul was knowledgeable of what needed to be done to resolve my issues. He and his crew were professional yet very friendly and efficient. They were able to complete the work in a timely manner, and even though I expected clean up after the project I was pleasantly surprised at how clean they left my house. Last winter I had a frozen pipe due to lack of insulation, and Paul has given me peace of mind going into this next winter that I will not have any more issues with it. It was a pleasure doing business with him!

Mindy contacted me within in the hour when I looked for insulation installers on homeadvisor. I decided to go with them but wanted to wait until I received my tax refund. I called Mindy last night and she called me first thing this morning and we got scheduled and everything was the same as my quote even though it's been almost three months since I first contacted Peterson.

I did my investigation and found Peterson energy, thru Angi List (HomeAdvisor). I left a request for two companies and Mindy called me within the hour to setup an appointment to see the work I needed. It wasn't a simple put in new insulation. It was major racoon damage. Paul the owner came out and was a little early to look at the job. Paul is very knowledgeable about the whole process. Once we agreed on doing the work Paul's team spent a lot of time setting up the work area to make sure my wood floors and steps leading upstairs to the attic entrance were protected very well. As the crew was working Paul found some areas that needed to be protected from other rodents getting into the attic which was preventative work (install screening where there were small gaps rodents could get through, and reinforcing the soffit) to keep them out in the future. The team took care of these and other items that weren't discussed initially.

The owners of the company both said that they would physically check in at the home during the install, but neither ever showed up. The crew was mostly friendly to work with except when I questioned a couple of things that did not appear to be as agreed. Once I discussed with the owner of the company via phone we were able to correct the issue but then one of the crew became slightly belligerent. Ultimately the job was completed satisfactorily but doing so without the attitude from the one crew member would have been better. The owners, Paul and Mindy, were very nice to deal with, but would have been nice to see them check in at the site during the work.

They replied immediately and set up a very detailed estimate. They were the same price as a competitor, however, they were careful enough to note that the canned lights should NOT touch the insulation and so they boxed them out to separate as to not cause a fire. For that reason I hired them!! Did a very good job and thoroughly cleaned up behind them.

Efficient service

Mindy arrived on time and did a complete inspection of our attic and took photos to show us the work that needed to be done to make our home more energy efficient. The installers arrived on time, did the necessary repairs, installed the insulation and cleaned up when they were finished. They also took photos showing us the completed job. A bonus that we didn't expect is that the house is much quieter! They are extremely professional and I highly recommend them!

Talking with Mindy and Paul with Peterson Energy was the best decision we made this year! We struggled with keeping the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter since we bought our home in the fall of 2017. Assuming we only needed insulation, I called for a quote and met with Mindy within a couple of days. Using their expertise, we found out that we had a more significant problem and found no airflow in the attic. Additionally, the attic was not sealed and had improper insulation. They showed us the impressive hot temps in our walls on their heat camera and explained what is causing the issue. The suggested a gable fan, sealing the attic and new insulation. We went forward with the work, and it changed our lives! We went from an average of 78 degrees in the summer with the thermostat set at 72, to having the house at 72 degrees and without the AC on 24/7. LIFE CHANGER. They are honest and good people wanting to find a solution, not quick fixes. Great crew, professional and clean!!!! Thank you!
