G&P was one of five bids we got on taking out our existing patio and laying pavers. They followed up with a call and a thank you card. We went with someone else because they had more creative ideas.

The experience was fine but we had a few issues after they first put it down. I called him and he came right back out within a day or two and fixed it.

They were very, very professional. The way they did the garage floor was just perfect. They didn't cut any corners. They cleaned up after the job & pricing was great. I would definitely recommend them.

It went Excellent! It was a complicated job all the way through.I made last minute changes which Shawn handled with no problem.He & his crew were up to the task at hand. Shawn pretty much answered his phone & adressed all my concerns with out incident.Shawn is honest , good to his word & easy to work with. As with any large job of this nature expect some glitches,what separates an average contractor from a professional contractor is the manner in which they handle the glitches.I would recommend to be on job site to make sure there is no miscommunications. Mat the estimator was extremely knowlegable & made suggestions that never would have occurred to me which ended up enhancing the overall job!Thank You Mat! Craig was the crew leader and very good to work with, he offered suggestions on design and placement that were very helpful. Crew was prompt and professional. I got two bids, this was not the low bid, but pricing was competitive and I had much more confidence in their ability to do the job professionally. Very happy with the results.

Took care of getting all of the permits and inspections. The weather cooperated and the job was complete on schedule. The crew arrived on time. Everyone started working immediately and they were a team. I went from having one of the worst driveways in the neighborhood to having the most awesome driveway in the neighborhood. The guys hauled all of the old concrete away, put the sod back where they found it, cleaned up the street and my yard and all I can say....absolutely amazing. I love my driveway and sidewalk. I received 6 bids. They were not the lowest or the highest, but with the materials they used were the best. I can't imagine being happier. The owner sent me a list of references. I stopped by one night to look at a driveway and patio that was poured 2 years ago and the man came out of his house and started telling me how happy he was with the end product and described his experience. Him and his wife seemed to be on a high talking about their driveway and patio and how happy they were and how professional the crew was. For a minute, I thought he must be related to someone at the company. I smiled and asked him if he was related and he said no. I totally understand his enthusiasm because I have also experienced it and highly recommend them. After seeing the end results, 2 of my neighbors and 1 man I work with are all interested in getting concrete work done. Lots and lots of compliments from the neighbors. A big thanks goes out to Shawn and his crew.

They did an excellent job on the patio. They arrived on time and completed the work on schedule. We are very happy with our new patio and stairs.

We selected G&P after interviewing 5 companies from Angie's list with an A-rating. We met with Shawn twice before the work began. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. With my engineering background, I can be a bit anal (as my wife would say) and I asked him a LOT of questions! He had a lot of good suggestions that were very helpful, especially with the stamped concrete. We made several adjustments along the way, like the size of the back patio and the radial steps, and found Shawn very easy to work with. The first day Shawn's team came and tore out the front porch, driveway and sidewalk. The second day, they poured the front porch and half of driveway. The third day, they poured the second half of the driveway and the back patio with stamp and release. This was a large job, and all concrete work was completed and cleaned up in 3 days! A few days later, Dwayne came over and completed the knock-down overlay on the back porch. The following weekend Shawn and another gentleman came out with a half-dump truck of topsoil and the 3 of us filled in around the new concrete. He then laid grass seed and straw. All of this this is was done FOR FREE, which I felt was a nice touch. I did my homework about materials online, and I was very satisfied with the workmanship and materials used. Shawn and his team are very professional and concerned about quality. His team was very careful about saw-cutting and removing the front porch concrete near our large living room windows. They were very careful around the garden area adjacent to the front porch as well. Everyone I've talked to that has had similar work done, felt that the price was very good. All along the way, Shawn was checking in with us to see if we had any concerns or changes. At the end of the job, we paid with a combination of check and credit card. They were very flexible with this. My wife and I couldn't be happier and would recommend G & P Concrete to anyone!

Very professional from the start. The men were pleasant, helpful and most important careful with our property and skillfully performed their services. I would (and have) recommend them to anyone. It was a delight to have a company whose main concern was doing a job for a fair price and constantly making sure I, the customer was happy with their work. They made my home feel like my own private resort. It did not take long for the excitement to wear off and for the disappointment to set in. We do not under any condition want to be responsible for an unsuspecting person to use this contractor due to our glowing report. The pictures were beautiful and from a distance they still are but up close it is a disaster. The sealer has bubbled, the concrete is cracked in numerous places, there is discoloration with white patches and pink dots. We have had promises that it would be fixed but the owner now resorts to blaming product companies or others for the problems. G & P was the company we hired and paid and no other. It is the company's responsibility to make sure the products they use and any contractors they bring in meet the expectations given to their clients. Please with drawl our praise and recommendation for G & P.

They arrived right on time. A crew of 5 broke up the old porch and hauled it away. Forms were set, re-bar etc. was put down and the concrete truck arrived a little before noon. 3 hrs. later, all was cleaned up and done. We were very pleased.. The concrete truck broke one slab of our sidewalk and it was hauled away and repoured before the crew left.

The company rep arrived on time, was very professional, and very pleasant. Provided good honest answers and was not pushy or over selling. I was very close to using this company except their bid was competitive, but they were significantly out bid by another Angie's List provider who has similar very strong ratings and postive feedback. I have nothing negative to say about this company.

The team showed up on the morning they were scheduled to arrive and knocked out the entire project in one day. We quoted six contractors and G&P had the best price. Fortunately, they also delivered a great result on time. We will definitely be calling them again and recommending them to our friends.

Shawn the owner, personally came out to bid on the job. He also worked very hard. Overall, the servicemen were excellent. They answered all my questions and they were willing to go the extra mile. They were never rude and cleaned up the site.

The crew arrived promptly at 6:30 to start the process, once the old patio was removed along with all the dirt they started the getting the area ready for the concrete. The crew was great at keeping the area clean and kept all the tools out of harms way and did a great job of cleaning up once they were finished, there was nothing we had to do after they left. They all were very polite and they did a fantastic job putting in the patio and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs concrete work done.

They did a good job. They were very courteous when they were here. They were consciousness to do the work and make things work for me. I would use them in the future.

I didn’t have any issues with them or anything, but we went with someone else because I liked them better. They were very punctual and nice, and they were quick with the bid; he drew it up on the spot.

The estimate went well, they were on time & responsive & professional. They arrived to do the work on the day they promised they would be here. Unfortunately, only a couple of hours into the job, they hit our in-ground sprinkler line. I was hoping that they would at least work with us on it (maybe split the cost of the repair), but its written in their contract that they are not responsible for this type of damage that they might do. They weren't willing to budge on this. I will say in their defense, I did not physically flag the sprinkler head, although it is right next to the driveway & quite obvious. One of the things that was attractive about this company to me, was that they took credit cards (nearly all - and it was clearly advertised that they accepted major credit cards), but when i went to try to pay with a credit card, they hassled me about it. They first just tried to talk me out of it, saying, "no one ever uses credit cards". They told me I would be charged a service fee for using a credit card (although this is not written anywhere in the contract). In the end, they agreed to not charge an additional fee. I would say that overall, they did a fine job on the concrete itself, but simply they just weren't as accommodating & professional as I would have liked. It will cost about $200 to repair our sprinkle line; and I just feel that when a contractor damages something on the job, they should repair it.

I cannot say enough good things about their work and professionalism. After receiving several quotes and doing some online research about driveway replacement, I came up with a list of about 15 questions about methods and materials used. I emailed this list to 4 of the contractors bidding for the job. They called me right back to say they would be in touch with me that evening to go over my questions. They called that evening and spent about half an hour on the phone answering my questions. One contractor never got back in touch with me and one did email me 5 days later saying to contact them if I wanted the questions answered. One of them sent me an email several days later with very brief answers to the questions and made no further follow up. I had more questions and wanted to go over more details about the walkway and they were glad to come out again. At this time we signed the contract after reviewing everything. Pricewise, they were very reasonable for the quality of work. Their bid was not the highest, nor was it the lowest. They used the best materials and methods that I had read about. They showed up as scheduled and were even early. All of the workers were extremely professional and courteous. They completed the work as scheduled. They cleaned up well and did everything as specified in the contract. Our new driveway, porch and walkway look beautiful! I would not hesitate to recommend them and would use them again!

The overall process went very well. G-P was by far the most professional company to give us an estimate. They were also the most reasonable priced. I went with G-P based on their good rating on here, their professionalism and the price. They provided literature for the stamped concrete process which is more than I can say about the other companies. They have a pretty good website which offers some ideas. They could improve upon the color selection process. It is difficult to envision how the colors and release work together and if they had some sample to show that would be good. The guys arrived on time and were very professional. I have two little boys who love to watch construction work. The guys were very nice to the boys. They completed on time and did everything they said they were going to do. The only issue they had is they knocked off the handle to my water faucet. They replaced it before they left.

After we decided to use G & P to do the work - Shawn came out with the contract and he went through it with me, then we sign! The work date was agreed on and the crew showed up and went right to work! They knew my husband was coming home from Afghanistan & that I wanted it all done for his return home. They had it all done in 3 days and they even did the grass seeding around the concrete for me! They kept me posted on each step and I took photos. They were very nice and explained it all to me as the process went on..... I think they did a great job and did not mind me in their hair watching & making sure it was done the way I wanted!! Oh yea, they also sealed the walk way & driveway! They look great - I went from a one car to a very large 2 car drive way, and to a 4ft walk way from a 3 ft one. Everything was done on time and the crew cleaned up after all work was complete. It was one of the few companies I have had to deal with that it turned out to be a great experience, NOT the stress I thought it was going to be!
