Everything went fine until the end of the job. Contractor got mad at the end when I ask him if he going to haul away the extra dirt that was dug up, which I asked to have it all removed before the job was done. It all came done that him and I haul it and put it in a pail in my back yard where it still at to this day..

It went well. When I had a question about a drain pipe they'd installed under the sidewalk, he came out to make sure everything was working, even though the job was totally finished and paid for.

The company completed the driveway on-time without major issues; however, shortly after installation there were several micro-cracks. I've had a number of concrete professionals look at the driveway and note that a lower quality concrete mix was used, causing a significant amount of micro-cracks. As a result, I expect the useful life of the driveway to be shorter. Overall, the driveway (now 3 years old) has not experienced any major cracking except one moderate support crack and the micro-cracking.

Recently we had G & P Concrete do a driveway tear out and replace with exposed aggregate stone performed at our Log Home. The crew at G&P Concrete went above and beyond our expectations delivering value added service coupled with courteous and prompt communication. Our point person was Shawn Primeau, who guided us through this entire process starting with a very competitive bid and helped to ease our concerns during the construction process. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and have received multiple compliments on our new exposed aggregate driveway. I can't say enough about the speed, quality workmanship, and dedication to total satisfaction, Shawn and his crew exhibited. I will most definitely call G & P Concrete for future projects as well as refer to friends and family.

We are very happy with the whole process. Shawn took time to explain everything he did and listened to my concerns. He even replace a small section of concrete along side my driveway that was not included with the bid. It was poured by another company a few years ago and had cracked after some very cold weather. The driveway looks wonderful and we appreciate the hard work and clean up. Thanks!

Actually, I would have given this company an overall rank of "very good," but that was not an option. Shawn is a super nice, friendly person. He was present and worked along with his crew on this project. The work was completed over two consecutive days. The driveway looks good but has dried to a very light gray in color. I know that when I first met with Shawn I told him that my neighbor's driveway is too light and shows everything. My driveway is just as light in color. However, I never mentioned this again and it was not noted in any of the paperwork so that's my fault. As far as the clean-up, I was told that when they were finished I would not be able to tell that they were there. However, I felt that they did leave me with a bit of a mess. There were a few spots where concrete had spilled in the yard, along with some small scraps of plywood. And there was too much dirt, sand and dust from the rock dumped on the street in front of my home left behind, which I had to clean up and hose down. I would still recommend Shawn to anyone seeking to have concrete work done.

crew and Shawn the owner where very professional and work together like clockwork. Shawn and is crew are very easy to get along with and they are all passionate about their work.

We just had two patios, a driveway with extra pad for a trailer, and a sidewalk replaced. We chose G & P Concrete. They didn’t have the lowest bid, nor the highest. However, Shawn made us feel the best and most comfortable when we met with him in person. Did we ever make the best decision! Shawn (the owner), was right there the whole time working right along with all his workers. They did a fantastic job. Everyone on the crew was courteous and helpful. They worked together like a well oiled machine. You never saw or heard someone say, “That’s not my job.” They all did everything, and helped each other. Their only concern was to get the job done, and done right. No short cuts! The job wasn’t finished when the concrete was poured either. They went above and beyond on the cleanup of the site. They filled and leveled the dirt around the concrete. They also dug out the culvert under the driveway so it would drain correctly. They also powerwashed the house to remove the dirt and splatter off the house . This is how contractors should work. It was a A real pleasure to work with these guys, and we would hire them again without hesitation. (There are some pictures of the finished job. I only wish we'd have taken a few before shots, just to show the huge difference.)

Shawn was awesome... he told me it would take three days to put in the new patio. They started on Thursday we're finished by Saturday afternoon. The new patio is gorgeous and all of his workers were very professional and it looks amazing. I would highly recommend G&P for all of your concrete needs. I also had five bids and he was extremely competitive.

They did pretty good. I might use them. I would definitely check his prices.

All done in less than 2.5 days! Started on the day scheduled - no delays. First day tearing out prior driveway and patio - placing dirt, gravel, rebar and forms. Day two concrete poured and installation of French drain along driveway to help with drainage as I am located at bottom of subdivision hill. Day 3 morning - removing forms filling in dirt around the edges of new patio / driveway. Also put area of cyclone fence & gate that had to be moved to access the backyard back in place before they left. Very careful not to damage with their heavy equipment my underground sump pump and underground downspout drainage pipes and pop up discharge. Left no trash or mess behind. Looks beautiful. They provided the requested lien waiver after work was completed.

Sean and his team were fantastic! Extremely professional. We could not be happier. What we really appreciated was how he understood our concerns, especially with water coming down our driveway.

Shaun was very responsive and provided solid design ideas. The work was delayed due to rain but as soon as it broke they got to work and finished in under 3 days. The qulity was excellent, the price was right and the crew was great; what more could we ask. Thanks Shaun and sorry for the belated review. You are definitely on our contractor A-list.

I am very pleased with my beautiful new patio! It took a bit longer than expected to get on the schedule, but it was worth the wait! Shawn came out and did an estimate and told us when they could get it done. They showed up right on time and got it all done in TWO DAYS! I've never seen a crew work so hard or do such a great job as long as we've been homeowners. And when they were done, they cleaned up spotlessly. We got a concrete driveway with a border, and it looks great! And we've seen quite a few people slowing down to look at our beautiful new driveway. Two of our neighbors came by to ask us about it and it was so obvious they were jealous. One even said that we shouldn't have spent that much money on a driveway. I told him that "It's only money!" Little did he know just what a great deal we got. We just can't tell you enough how much we love the job Shawn and G and P Concrete, Inc. did for us. Shawn and his team did an amazing job for us. We had our drive way replaced and front sidewalk, along with a new patio in the backyard with a side walk. Shawn was so easy to work with! He was positive, upbeat, and professional every step of the way. Where we had the patio placed was in a tough spot for Shawn, electric and irrigation pipe wise, yet he was very careful while using heavy equipment. His concrete work is like Art! I had the Picture Frame and brush finish, and it was done with such skill it looks stunning! Shawn makes a point to give you the paperwork from the concrete company for every truck that comes, so you know for sure that you are getting the right concrete. I highly recommend G&P concrete! This family run business, treats you and your home like it is their own. P.S. - With any big project using heavy equipment, please expect to do some clean up afterward. Shawn was careful to put down plywood so the equipment did not damage the yard, yet they are working with Dirt, stone, gravel, etc. and you will need to do some sod work to fill in the areas next to your new, beautiful, driveway. Concrete work is a big project, so be prepared to do so work afterwards.

It took a little longer than expected to get it done, but it was worth the wait! This was a pretty large job. Shawn and his crew are all very professional, courteous, and nice. They all have an excellent work ethic. Our project was extra complicated, due to we have a lot of water run off in our yard...but G&P Concrete handled it like a champion.

They did a great job of working around the existing landscape to lay a sidewalk that started at the front of the house and wrapped around the back.

Shawn came in right on time the day he came to give us a bid. He gave us a bid within 15 minutes of finishing measurements. We had received bids from 3 other concrete contractors. We decided to go with G & P concrete because of excellent reviews on Angie's list and also because he presented some excellent ideas. Shawn was easy to work with. Our City on the other hand was difficult to work with. Shawn dealt with them in a very calm and patient manner. After we received approvals from the city, Shawn accommodated to our schedule and needs and got the work done very quickly. He and his crew did excellent quality work and left the street and work site in a neat and clean state. He was nice enough to set up my son's basketball hoop as well, even though this was not his core competency. All in all, I would definitely hire him again. He is a very pleasant person. A pleasure to work with.

We are very pleased to give a firm recommendation to G&P Concrete Inc. G&P recently provided for us a new over sized concrete drive and a curved walkway. We were very impressed from the start with our dealing with Shawn Primeau. The communications and cooperation were excellent from the start. Each member of the crew knew exactly what to do. Although they worked well as a team, each one also knew their job, acting individually on occasion. Although we made a few last minute changes, Mr. Primeau readily accepted them and worked them in. G and P Concrete did an amazing job. New concrete slab, drain, basement steps, rebuilt basement retaining wall that was cracking, new back porch support pillars , redirected draining water , and repaired front porch steps. Back yard regrade , grass seed and straw cover all in 5 long days. My sons agree and say it's an amazing finished product It's really great to have someone you don't know of except through Angie's list take such pride in doing a job so professionally and with such pride Highly recommend them Tried using a local concrete company but after a number of attempts decided to try this company and they didn't disappoint but impressed would highly recommend Shaun and G and P Concrete

Shawn and his crew are very good at their work. The patio is free form and the edging is smooth and the stamp design with 2 colors came out very well. The number of staff was larger than I thought it would be. The layout of the patio shape was reworked several times while a friend and I kept stating our preferences. Shawn was accommodating to our suggestions. The patio is smooth and looks great.
