After reviewing several duct cleaners on Angieslist, I narrowed it down to three. I was also having a humidifier installed, so I asked the HVAC company we used who they recommended for duct cleaning. They named two companies, and Ductz was already on my short list. I called them and another highly rated company. Ductz came to my home and inspected the system before giving me an estimate. The other company gave me an estimate over the phone after asking several questions. At first, I was put off by taking the time for an in-home estimate because we are so busy moving from out of state, but Mark was very personable and explained things as he went in such a way that I felt very comfortable with him and his integrity. Both companies concluded nearly the same thing in terms of what would need to be done to best meet my needs. Ductz was quite a bit more expensive than the other company (over $200), but having a recommendation from the HVAC company (who also exceeded my expectations) and the experience with Mark personally led my husband and I to use them anyway. The day of the cleaning, I was even more pleased with having chosen them! The two workers were great! They worked diligently and kept the rest of my house clean while they worked. When they were finished they showed me before and after pictures. Something they told me as they were explaining how things went was new to me, so I asked for further explanation. They took the time to show me what they were talking about and how I could make my system more efficient in the process! Mark came by toward the end of the process to see how they were progressing and make sure I was happy with their work. I would definitely use them again!

The owner, Patti Clisham, came promptly to provide an estimate. The crew of two arrived on time to do the work which took approximately the estimated time. The crew took precautions to protect the floors and wall corners and did not leave a mess. The crew took and showed us before and after pictures of inside the ducts. For our smaller house and not a lot of dirt in the ducts, the price seemed a little high but other bids were not obtained to make a comparison. Most importantly, the job was done well and in a timely manner.

They were just awesome! It was incredible how clean they got things, and what a difference their service made. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Two men performed the work. They were courteous and professional. Work took about three hours. They were careful and cleaned up after completion. Patty, the owner, visited to estimate the cost of the work and gave us a precise breakdown of cost. I had occasion to call back about an issue with filters and Patty returned to our home and provided two replacement filters. I am pleased to recommend Ductz.

They were outstanding. I gave their business card to a friend who is a realtor who doesn?t have a resource for ventilation cleaning. They were wonderful. They were the best. I have cat allergies and we had to do a total cleanup of my entire ventilation system. Patty Clisham is the owner of the company. She is the best to work with. She came out quickly. There was very little wait time. I spent $1000 which is the going rate. I live in an old house in this city and I have zone heating and air conditioning. The problem in old buildings is that the ductwork is not right angled. It creeps and crawls all over the house. They have to work with what they have and that of course makes it take longer. I knew that it was going to cost about $1000 and that?s exactly what it cost. They spent as long as it took. They were clean, neat and tidy. It was very nice to have them in the house. I can?t say enough about them. I would use their services again in the future in a heartbeat. It?s like a savior for anyone with cat allergies.

They did a great job. They were exceptionally professional and did a great job of keeping everything clean. They covered the carpeting before they came in and made sure that no dust or dirt was left around within reach. We have noticed a significant drop in dust in the house since then. We called one day. They came out here the next and were gone within two hours. They had a state of the art quite vacuum system compared to a lot of the other companies.

It was a very positive experience. In the past, we had our ducts only cleaned by one of the budget duct cleaning companies that simply ran a vacuum down the ducts. We just had a new furnace and A/C system installed (by Jerry Kelly, a very positive experience as well) and wanted to make sure we got a thorough cleaning this time. We asked our HVAC installers if they had a recommendation for duct cleaning and DUCTZ was the only company they recommended. Mason Klippel of DUCTZ was very easy to talk to as he answered all of my questions and was detailed as to what the service actually included. The two man service team was very polite, professional, and fast. The service guys came in with several pieces of equipment to attach to our system in order to force all of the crud they were stirring up in the ducts to go to a single collection source which also returned all of the air back to house after it was passed through a high grade HEPA filter. They cleaned the main trunk, the return, the furnace (which was new anyway), all of the duct runs to the registers, and took the registers themselves outside and cleaned them as well. They then sanitized the system and showed my wife the before and after pictures. Overall, my wife and I were very pleased with the service. The only downside is the price since it is higher than the budget companies, but based on what we researched, you definitely get what you pay for and we were very happy paying what we did for a thorough job.

The house my mother bought was 56 years old and I don?t think the duct work was ever cleaned and it was unbelievable. They came out and cleaned it and had to even put in extra time and it was a really good experience all around. Their prices were a little on the higher side, but for the work they did and the kind of dirt they got out, it was worth it.
