Description of Work: Kevin changed my thermostat and heating element on my dryer. He was excellent. He did the job and charged me a reasonable rate for fixing it along with a reasonable rate for the part. My dryer was a newer Kenmore, and it was so much cheaper than buying another one. I really had a lot of confidence in Kevin, because he was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: Replaced a computer board. It took two trips, which was not unusual. What was unusual was that the repairman had trouble working on the unit and had to call in a second technician. During the diagnosis, repair and re installation of the microwave unit three of the four corners were cracked.

+ -1 moreI called him in a panic at 4:30 and he said that he could come that night and he wouldn't charge extra. He was totally clean cut, personable and intelligent. I found his work to be excellent and his explanation exemplary. He answered all of my questions and also said that he warrantied his service for 30 days. While he was there he also changed a furnace filter and checked on my furnace for no additional charge.
Description of Work: New switch for the compressor.

Description of Work: my dryer was making a bad noise and seemed to be not getting the clothes dried--it took like 4 times,,,i called a few people he was the first to respond, invited him out after my work hours, he arrived and it was great he was very very nice, and fixed the problem and did not try to snowball me at all yes i would use him again

+ -1 moreThe service was very prompt and friendly. He explained the options I had and suggested to try the cheapest way first. When that didn't work he did not charge another service call to come back out and replace the control board. Again very prompt and friendly service.
Description of Work: Our refrigerator was not cooling when call was placed. Repair man showed up that afternoon to look at fridge. He replaced some relays and an overload switch. He said this could fix it but might not, If any poblems call him. as it would require replacement of the control board..which it did.

+ -1 moreExcellent! I admit that I am skeptical when a service provider says how honest he is, but this was one experience where it was true. Thanks, Kevin.
Description of Work: We had a problem with a built-in GE wall oven. The control panel would flash "door locked" and oven wouldn't work, but there were no "problem codes" showing. The oven was fourteen years old and it had given us good service. GE customer support was no help, they just wanted to send their contract service provider. Kevin was very prompt and reset the electronics but warned me that there was probably an underlying problem. He was right. The oven failed again. He came back and did some electrical diagnostics and said the problem was most likely a temperature limit switch. He ordered the part from his wholesaler, I agreed to pick up the part and install it myself. I did so and the problem was solved! As a senior citizen on an Army pension and Social Security, I appreciate Kevin's concern about costs and reluctance to replace big and expensive components. Kevin likes to talk so you may have to steer him to the task at hand, but the result speaks for itself and besides, he likes cats. He is one of the good guys.

+ -1 moreMade the call and the repair occurred the next morning: excellent prompt service from a pleasant person who explained all of the options and allowed me to make the choice which was best for me.
Description of Work: My refrigerator stopped cooling and I expected to have to replace the compressor. All Appliance Repair fixed the problem without me having to bear the cost of a new compressor - I believe that most repair services would have gone for the more expensive option.

Showed up between that time and started right to work testing and determining cause of problem. Fixed relay and overload by installing new part. Refrigerator and freezer now working fine. 30 day warranty on parts and service.
