Structural Restorations Systems

From first contact for an estimate to the last day of work, everything was done promptly and well. While waiting for our starting date Jeramie answered our e-mail questions the same day, and gave us two weeks notice of our starting date. Everyone on the work crew was polite, friendly, and respectful of our home. They worked hard and did the 7 piers in 2 days, and cleaned up every last bit of old concrete and dirt. We are pleased with the work and happy to know that our piers are resting on bed rock! We would highly recommend SRS and would use them again.

On the first visit to do the work, the crack in the wall was seeping water and too wet for them to work with. We agreed to monitor it and let them know when it was dry enough to work with. They would install the new sump pump at the same time. Soon after, our existing sump pump died. I called them and let them know that the sump would need to be replaced regardless of the condition of the crack and they immediately agreed. Fortunately, they were able to do all the work at the same time. Excellent work performed very quickly.

It went great. Jeramie, the SRS owner, was very responsive when I called for a quote. He explained all of the options for fixing my foundation (which was leaking and moving). I obtained several other quotes, but they were either non-responsive, much more expensive, or it was obvious they didn't have a good quality solution. The team doing the work were very professional, explaining what they were doing along the way. They took steps to try to keep the basement as clean as possible (for example, moving materials in and out of a basement window instead of hauling them through the house). They cleaned up the mess before they left. Jeramie visited the work site every day to check on the workers and review progress.

We just moved into this house in Feb 2012. After we moved in we discovered there were three leaks in the basement. All companies except for SRS wanted to bust the concrete and putin a drain line with sump pump. Only problem was while there was a leak it was not enough water to trigger a sump pump. Jeramie recommend drilling out the cracks and use an epoxy with carbon fiber to replace the leak. Recently we had about 10 inches of snow and about two weeks later a extremely heavy rainfall. I hired Jeramie again to repair three newly discovered cracks. About a month ago I also hired SRS to replace interior floor at the front entrance to the hall that was about to disinegrate. I cannot say enough good things about SRS. I am 63 and have dealt with contractors for both personal use and in my job as a purchasing agent. SRS is a top notch company. The entire crew is friendly, respectful, punctual and professional. I highly recommend them. I do plan on having them back again later this year to caulk sidewalk slabs in the back of the house. Only reason I don't have them do it now is I just had a new roof put on. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend SRS to anyone.

They were quick to call me back and schedule an appointment. Jeramie was right on time. He went down to the crawl space and very thoroughly investigated. Seeing no issues, he determined it was not a foundation issue but likely an issue with the load bearing wall itself. Made complete sense based on the crack pattern. Also told me I'd be far better off calling in a builder to do the simple pier work as opposed to them. Appreciated his honesty and not wasting either of our time. Jeramie seemed to have great intergrity and knowledge. I called off the other companies and called in my builder instead.

The day of installation there was a really bad storm and my basement was leaking, so SRS could not fix the basement while it was wet. Jeramie was great and we were able to reschedule with only a 24 hour notice, which was great! The guy that came out to do the work was knowledgable about the repair and very professional. The repair only took a couple of hours and everything was cleaned up after he was done. Their work comes with a transferrable warranty if you ever decide to sell you house and will give piece of mind to the new buyers that the basement is dry. My basement turned out great and it actually rained the day after with no water getting into the basement. Structural Restorations Systems is a professional and affordable company that I would recommend to anyone. Keep up the great work!

It went well. It took them a couple of days longer than anticipated related to the hardness of the ground. He charged us what he had quoted us even though it took longer.

This house is a 1930 bungalow. The flooring at the front entrance was sagging. Having called Handymen, Construction companies and Flooring companies, none said it was within their scope of work. So I called Jeramie at Structural Restoration (should have did that first). Jeramie drilled two holes, one on each side of the flooring and was able to determine the floor joists were rotted. THese joists are not accessible from the basement due to the construction design of the house. He sent Chris out to do the repair work. Once Chris removed all the flooring (about 3'x4') we discovered there was an open "pit" underneath about 6' deep. He also discovered fungus part way down on the brick. So he stopped work and recommended I call Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration as he felt this was now a health hazard. Spectrum was able to get two guys out here about 6 p.m. and cleaned out the debris from the bottom. Chris came back the next day to finish up. I also have to thank Chris as he put a heavy sheet of plywood up to block the hole so the dog would not accidentally fall into it. I have used Structural Restoration before and cannot say enough for this company. Call them first!

Jeramie was amazing. I have contacted many different companies regarding our basement and he gave me honest advice even though it did NOT involve me paying for any services from him. I really appreciate his honesty after receiving an $8,000 quote from a different company. Thank you Jeramie.

I called about getting an estimate to repair a leaking crack in our foundation. They said they didn't need to come out to look at it and told me the cost. When I asked questions about how they repair foundation cracks, they did explain what they would do and directed me to their company website. However, I decided not to use them because they didn't know, and hadn't seen, the size/width of the crack when they quoted the price.

Unlike others who provided an estimate, Jeramie at Structural Restoration Systems performed a thorough investigation (including extensive use of laser leveling) and determined that he would be doing us a disservice to recommend any work! This, to me, is a sign of superior customer service and someone who wants to treat others as he would like to be treated rather than simply show up and push a sale. Their honesty saved me thousands of dollars. Without a doubt, I will go to them if I ever need future work and I will always recommend them to anyone needing an estimate or work performed. Well done!

Jeramie came to the house, evaluated the situation, and e-mailed us a contract with his proposed solution. He seemed knowledgeable and professional. When I responded with questions, he answered them promptly. He was quicker than any of the other companies we got estimates from. He continued to follow up to make sure everything was addressed. We received 3 quotes and although we didn't go with SRS, I feel they would have done a good job had we selected them.

Great work done by Jeramie and his team. I have had bad experiences with work done at my home in the past with other companies. So it was such a pleasure to have a great experience with this company. I highly recommend the company based on the work performed at my house,

Jeramie was very responsive and exhibited sound knowledge of the problem to be addressed. His piering proposal was the same as most of the other companies I received proposals from but his cost was the lowest. I checked all his references and they unanimously vouched for the quality of his work. He was also the only one that could accommodate my extremely tight schedule. His men were extremely professional and cleaned up very nicely after they were done. Would definitely hire again.

Very informative and told me about the cracking in the basement. Said that he would e-mail the contract of which I am waiting for. He told me that there is a lot of problems with the settling. Plan to hit the condo board with all the information.

The work started on time and was completed on time. The work crew was extremely professional and courteous throughout the entire process. The crew did an excellent job an minimizing any work related mess, and the area was well cleaned after the work was repaired. During and after the work, our structural engineer came to assess the work, and he was extremely pleased with the quality of repairs done (and so were we). Prior to the repairs we had water issues, but since the repairs were completed, we have had no sign of any water in our basement despite having several rain storms. After several weeks, we had a small birthday party for our son in the basement. One of our neighbors who previously had the exact same foundation issues was there. She commented that she wished the company that repaired her foundation and walls had finished her job as well as our job was finished. If we ever move and find that we have the same issues, SRS will be the only company we would call. It is so refreshing to work with an honest company that puts quality and their customer first.

Due to the recent drought, my foundation was experiencing problems. I noticed new cracks in the drywall as well as in the foundation and even the basement floor. Then some of my doors started sticking, not opening or closing properly. After searching Angie's List for reputable foundation repair companies, I scheduled 4 of them for estimates. The first company recommended installing 5 piers. I was less than impressed with the man who came out to look at my foundation. The second estimate was from Structural Restoration Systems. Jeramie came out to look at my foundation, the drywall cracks, sticking doors, etc., and just overwhelmed me with his thoroughness, complete and immediate understanding of the problems my home was experiencing, and the time and effort he spent assessing the situation and explaining it all to me. He recommended 6 piers, and also noticed (which the first estimator hadn't) that there were clear and obvious problems associated with one of my support posts. I was so impressed with him that I cancelled the remaining two estimates and hired Structural Restoration Systems on the spot. The work took place on October 2 and 3. I have never witnessed such an incredibly hard-working group of men in my entire life! They showed up promptly both days, with all of the equipment and manpower necessary to tackle the job. All of the men were professional, polite, friendly, and respectful of me and of my home. They worked practically non-stop both days, only stopping briefly for a lunch break. They were very knowledgeable about their respective jobs, and their teamwork, dedication, and incredible work ethic enabled the job to be completed in just 2 days. At the end of each of the 2 days, the crew cleaned up the work area, including my yard. No trash, debris, or anything was left behind -- only a much stronger foundation and my complete and total peace of mind.

Jeremy came out and he was bright and professional. We thought he had a handle on what the situation was. We had several other companies come out. We chose a different company. All of the companies offered a lifetime warranty on the work that was transferable to the new owner. This company is only two years old so we were a little nervous with a company that wasn't established giving us a lifetime warranty. Had it not been a small company that hadn't been in business for a long time, we very likely would have gone with them. We were not unhappy about anything he told us. The experience was really good but afterwards he emailed us probably twice a week to see if we were going to have him do the work or not. It was a little frustrating for us; it may have been a touch unprofessional but maybe in that line of work you need to continue to contact people to find out their plans. We told him that we would contact him and he still kept contacting us. I asked him a question or two about what another company had said and it seemed that his response was a little curt but you never know when reading an email. All of my other experience with him in person and on the phone was good. He had suggested 3 piers and another company had suggested 4. He was perfectly lovely and his quote was reasonable. He had background but the company didn't so we went with another company that was more established because of the lifetime warranty. He was on spot with the other companies that we contacted. He was almost too responsive. We emailed him to let him know that we were going with another company and we never heard back from him, which was a little unprofessional.

My past jobs have allowed me to work with different contractors. I have not seen any company or it's employees such as those with SRS work as hard as this crew did. Even my wife was impressed. They were on time and only took time off for lunch. And cleanup, I have not seen any contractor clean up like they did. They did an excellent job in cleaning up when they were done. I have used SR three times now and have never been disappointed. I HIGHLY recommend them. They will explain what the job will consist of and will not quote the most expensive method if they think another option is viable. If I would ever need their type of service again, I will not seek quotes. I will simply call them. Chris and Jeramie are the owners and should be highly proud of their work crew. Chris and Jeramie are also hands on owners. They simply do not stay back in the office.

See above for the story. Job went exceedingly well. SRS is definitely a professional company with professional employees. I have absolutely no problems in recommending them to anyone. I have now rehired them for a concrete job but that will be another review.

Well. They were professional and prompt.

We had four different companies give us a bid. I never got a written estimate but they just quoted me a price. I thought they were going to send me a written estimate so that wasn't very good. They came out and looked at the driveway real quickly. They called me and seemed to be interested in getting the business but I asked for a written estimate and I never got it. I would not use them again because they never responded.

I had extensive cracks in my basement walls, both vertical and horizontal. They sealed and strengthened the wall with apoxy and paitned over that with fiberlock repair. In my vertical cracks, I had a cuple of pinpoints that can lead to additional cracks. Last month, the heavy rain did lead to cracks. They came back to fix that and it has held; their follow up was included in my initial charge. They also fixed the cracks in my driveway. They are reasonably priced, much more affordable than other companies here. I really liked their work.

I found them on Angie's List. This was the first time that I used them and I was very satisfied with their work. It turned out to be perfect. They did the work promptly and there was attention to detail on the finished work. There was no problem with the clean up and anything that was left at the site. They got the work done quickly. I left in the morning, came back at noon and it was done. I would grade them the highest.
