Heat coming on and off in an erratic fashion. First visit they discovered motor mount was loose. Tightened it down and it seemed to work fine. Next day it started cutting on and off despite thermostat setting. When they arrived for the second time furnace was working (like going to the dentist and when you arrive your tooth does not hurt anymore.) But based on my description the technician knew what was failing. Good news, he knew what was going on - bad news, not cheap to fix. Worked perfectly since they replaced the part.

They will give a 10% discount if a repair is needed. They put in an upgraded system 5 years ago. He looks out for us and he knows our system. I will continue to use them.

On 1-1-2013, our tenant told us that the furnace appeared to have quit working in our rental property. The furnace was 20 years old and we had experienced some difficulty with it in recent months. I arrived at the home to find the temperature inside the house in the 50's, and the tenants keeping warm using the gas fireplace insert and space heaters. I spoke with one HVAC company who told me they could replace the furnace for $1,700.00, but could not install the new furnace until Friday January 4, 2013. Because the forecasted temperature for the next two days was near 10 degrees, I was concerned both for my tenants and for my rental property. At 7:40 AM on 1-2-13, I spoke to Russ by telephone at Scott-Lee Heating. He told me they had the right furnace in stock, and could install it that day for $1,600.00. I authorized Russ to proceed and his crew arrived with the new furnace at 9:00 AM. They removed the old unit and installed the new one, finishing by 1:00 PM. By 2:30 PM on 1-2-2013, the temperature was back to normal and my tenants were able to return to the house. The installation crew cleaned up after themselves and you would never know they had been there. The new furnace had to be carried in and the old furnace removed by going through the recently remodeled basement area. The new painted walls, paneling and flooring were undisturbed by the workmen, even though they had to maneuver both units up and down a tight ninety degree turn stairwell. We were extremely pleased with Scott-Lee's attention to detail, prompt response during the holidays, price and professionalism. We would recommend Scott-Lee Heating to everyone.

I had been waiting for someone else to put it in since the end of June, I had been given the run around. It was just horrible. I called Scott Lee on a Friday and they were out in a few days. We had two systems, and because of the other guys giving us the run around, we had been using the basement system and it burnt out while trying to overcompensate for the other system that was not working. Scott lee fixed both systems. I called him at 9:00 a.m., he said he would be out by noon and he was.

It went very well. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them.

They took my call after hours and scheduled a service call for the next afternoon. He arrived at Noon on the dot. He was here about 1 1/2 hours. But when eh left my a/c was blowing cold air. This company installed my unti when I built the house. I only rely on them to take care of the unti.

The a/c unit broke at my mother-in-law's house and we were trying to get some bids or estimates on replacing both the furnace and a/c as they both are extremely old. I called this company on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 in the a.m asking for an estimate on a new furnace and a/c. I was told by the man that answered the phone that day that he would have one of his guys call me back. A gentleman by the name of Sean did call me back in the early afternoon on the same day. He asked me when would be a good time for him to come out and give me that estimate. I told him that today worked or anytime tomorrow. He hestitated and then said that he had an appointment Friday morning so I suggested Friday afternoon. He agreed and we set up a time of 1:00 p.m. On that day, I was downstair trying to clean the area up a little bit when I heard my phone ringing but by the time I got up there it went to voice mail. This was at 12:31 p.m. and it was Sean stating that he could not make the afternoon appointment. Something about a situation that he had to take care of and he inadvertently doubled booked for that time slot and he would be available anytime Monday or any other day of my choosing. I dailed the number in my missed call log right away and it went to voice mail. I left my name and number and asked to be called back. I have never heard back from Sean or his company. This company had a lot of positve reports on this website so maybe this was just a fluke but this was my experience with this company.

We called Scott Lee in the morning to check on their availability for a service call, and set up the appointment when they told us a service tech could come by that afternoon. Eric came by in the afternoon, and quickly found a clog in the condensation drainage line. He detached the line, flushed out all the clogs, and reconnected everything fairly quickly. He also checked the charge on our unit outside. All in all it was a very quick and efficient service call, taking less than 30 minutes from start to finish. Although Eric was a little on the quiet side (I felt like I had to ask all the questions to find out what he was doing), he was very professional and friendly. My only issue with the service call as a whole was the the lack of a clear time window of when to expect them. Let me say up front that I don't pretend to know what kind of logistics are involved with the scheduling of service calls, and I understand that unexpected issues with one call commonly spill over into getting to the next. With that said, when we set up the appointment in the morning, we were only told the tech would be there and quot;sometime this afternoonand quot;. Even after asking for a window, I was given a and quot;guestimateand quot; of 1-3pm. Even though Eric did call to tell me he was on the way, he still didn't show up for another hour. I realize it's entirely possible, maybe even likely, that he was coming to our home from somewhere on the other side of the metro area. Still, the lack of any estimates as to when the appointment might actually take place was a little frustrating, since I had other tasks to take care of during the day. Again, in the grand scheme of things, this isn't a major issue, but something we feel was worth noting. This was our first time using Scott Lee, and Eric was a worthy representative of their service abilities. Based on this experience, we would certainly use them again.

I liked their service. They were prompt and got to us quickly. The technician was knowledgeable and was willing to share his knowledge. He did a good job checking things out and explained what he was doing. He was professional and he didn't try to sell me anything. He didn't do something that didn't need to be done.

I have a service contract with them which I signed up for in January. I didn't pay anything for the last visit as it was under the contract. They were good and everything was fine. The workers who came out were good.

Overall thier service and quick action took care of the problems

They came out and looked at old unit: provided quote including internal air-handler (which was several years newer than the outside unit), which I thought was a little high. Next day they found an and quot;Aand quot;- coil so we didn't have to replace air-handler (which I later found was not straight forward) lowering the price significantly. Picked a time; service man showed up on time, and had job completed as promised. System works great.

They came out and did the appropriate manual evaluation. They came up with the same information like the guy I used for the job. They were very professional and did all the calculations that should do. They didn’t want to put two systems. They came when they said they were going to come.

They came and gave a bid to my husband. It was a good experience. My husband was trying to do some custom work on the furnace. They also told him how to install it for a cheaper price. I would use them in the future.

We do a service contract with them every year. It is about $150. The air conditioner and furnace cost $12000, but that included all the filters, a humidifier on the furnace, and an electric air cleaner. They are very reliable. We always ask for the same technician, and he is wonderful. His name is Randy. In fact, if you ask for Randy sometimes you can’t get like the next day or else you have to wait for a week or two. It is just for general service. It is not like an emergency.

They are excellent. Their price is fine. They have done efficient work. They are very friendly. They always send nice people to do the work. They will be coming to do our air conditioning work. I would use them in the future.

The person came out, did a thorough check gave us a clean bill of health. We ended up subscribing to a service to check the air conditioner and heater twice a year. Overall experience was good, person was professional cost was what i expected.

Poor waranty service, posibly under-spected AC and humidifiers. Hard to get in emergencies, even as a continuing customer. Servie men were excellent when they got there, problems seem to be in central office scheduling and management.
