We have used them for years. We have an annual service plan with them that includes maintenance and cleaning of the system. They come once in the spring and once in the fall. They also keep their appointments and are always within the window they give us.

It went very good. They met my expectations.

It was fantastic. They came out fast and had everything replaced within a couple of days. This was a lot faster that I thought it would be.

I would give them an A for courteous on time service and for completing the occasional repair quickly and without incident.

Mike Schumacher is the contact person there. I have a contract with them. I pay them $120 a year. They show up on time and they are very efficient; they get the job done. I have not had any trouble with them. I will use them in the future.

I called about someone coming out to look at my furnance, explaining that it would not come on sometimes without me switching the on/off switch on, to trigger it. They said that they could not tell me how much it would cost, since they would have to check for the problem first. The repair person came out , and after a few minutes, said that I needed a new flame sensor. Said they had a flat rate, and it cost $185.00. I asked for a breakdown of the labor and parts, and he said they could not give me that. I got the $20.00 discount for using Angie's List. The work was completed in about 10 minutes, and he waited another 20 min. or so to make sure the furnace was going to come on. The service was completed. I felt the price was inappropriate, since I later looked up the cost for a flame sensor, and it was less than $15.00, which means I was charged $170 for labor for probably 1/2 hr. I realized I had the flame sensor replaced before, once I saw the part. At that time, an HVAC person/friend, charged me his minimum fee of $50.00. I was dissappointed in the pricing , and the fact that I was charged a flat rate, which seems totally inappropriate for the job performed.

We have been using Reliable for our heating and cooling needs for several years. They routinely maintain both machines every spring and fall. Possibly because of this routine maintenance we have had very few problems over the years but none the less they have always been as professional, honest, and i hate to say it, RELIABLE, as we could've ever hoped for. This is one of these rare cases where we got lucky and found the right guys on day 1 and were wise enough to stick with them. We will definitely be calling them again.

We called because our air conditioning unit had failed. A technician came to examine it and determined that the compressor was no longer functioning. Due to the age of the unit, it seemed logical to replace it. The furnace was likewise extremely outdated and it would be necessary to replace the furnace in order to replace the AC unit. The technician showed me some options and prices, however he was not able to leave me a list of options and prices to show my husband. It seems that individual homes vary with regard to their HVAC needs, so companies can't guarantee a set price to anyone; therefore, they cannot hand you a published list of options and prices. The very nice technician wrote a few things down (which I had trouble reading) and explained what they meant (which I had trouble remembering). That created a problem in that I couldn't explain every option to my husband very well. The next day another technician was willing to come to meet with me and my husband after work so that he could show my husband the options. We decided on a high efficiency solution that would last into the future. They installed the HVAC units the next day. They were prompt, skilled, and highly professional. The prices seemed competitive and reasonable. We couldn't be happier with the product or the expertise.

my a/c went out at 6 pm on a friday evening, with the hottest days of the summer coming this weekend. i looked up a/c on angies list and came up with reliable. i received a call back within a few minutes. the repairman came the next morning(my choice to wait until the next day) at 9 am, had the work done by 10 am. he showed me all that needed to be done, it was my choice to add the cleaning, was very helpful with advise, no pressure to do other things, pleasant and down to business. he was there for a job and got it done. i would recommend reliable for any heating and cooling issues. i will call them when it is time to clean my furnace.

I called Reliable the morning of June 3rd and they told me the service man would be at our home between 12:30 pm & 2:30 pm. The gentleman arrived at 2:15 pm which was good. He introduced himself and asked what kind of problem we were having. I told him and he looked at our air conditioning unit inside and outside. He did a thorough exam of the unit and told me what part was needed. He did not charge us the $79.00 service call charge since we needed a repair. He had a book that showed the part name and how much it would be and then subtracted my couple from that price. He was done in about one hour. He explained everything to me and my husband very well. We were very pleased and we would use this company again.

We have a Diamond Plan with Reliable, which means they check our furnace in the fall and the air conditioning in the spring. When a service man came to check out our air conditioning for the season he found that the furnace had burned out a vital part. As the repair would be expensive and both furnace and a/c were almost 20 years old, we decided to replace both. We got an estimate the next working day. The man was very helpful in explaining things and helping us decide the best products for our situation. Men came two days later and did the work. They were good at their jobs, polite and hard working. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. We got a discount because of our membership in the Diamond Plan.

Service man arrived on time, spent about 1 hr. checking units and then left. I have had this performed by other companies and it was the same procedure.

Tech didn't try to sell me services I didn't need. He did tell me about some future regular check up plans for a reasonable fee.

A few months ago, Marty came out to provide a bid for a new furnace, A/C, water heater, and humidifier. Marty provided us a lot of great informaton without any pressure. (He didn't recommend a new humidifier - he said it would be cheaper and just as good to fix it.) He helped to approximate our tax rebate if we installed before the end of 2010. And he mentioned that there are usually rebates in the fall. We asked him to call us again then. We contacted them about the rebates. And Marty mentioned rebate offers for 2 different manufacturers. As we were making our decision, he was very available to us and answered all our questions. Ultimately, we decided on a Westinghouse furnace (95% efficiency) and Westinghouse A/C (16 SEER). (No new water heater at this time.) After we made the decision, they were out within 2 days. Three guys came out, and the work was done in one day. And when I thought I smelled gas that night, they came back to check for leaks. (Turns out the furnace's heat exchanger is coated in a chemical that burns off during the first few uses.) I even got a new thermostat that allows me to set a schedule. It went great! They cleaned up well, and I'm very pleased with our new systems.

Our A/C went out a week before my wife was to deliver our little boy. I was frantically trying to negotiate with our home warranty company (NATIONWIDE is Crap!) for a replacement. After figuring out that that road was a dead-end, I had about 5 companies come out and bid for the job, among them Home Depot and Sears. The quotes from home Depot and Sears were roughly the same at around $6500. Reliable and a couple other local companies quoted between $3600 & $4500. Reliable was not the cheapest but they presented themselves well and imbued us with confidence from their pitch and demeanor. We decided to go with them and within 245 hours had financing through them and the unit installed and icing down our house. Thanks Reliable!

A/C went out on Sunday evening. We went to a hotel, called Reliable. Someone called us back to say they'd be out the next morning if that was ok. Next morning they called as promised with 2 hour window of 9-11 am. Tech arrived by 9:30 and found a broken wire and capacitor out. He repaired both successfully. Two days later awoke in early dawn hours of Wednesday with no a/c. Called Reliable around 7, promised a call back and got it with a promise of tech arriving between 9-9:45. He got here a little after 9 am, found a second broken capacitor, repaired it successfully. The only problem we had with the entire service was the repairman mentioned more than once that we really should contact Reliable for a quote on a new system, even after I had told him it just wasn't in the budget right now and to please do what he could to fix our existing unit. He did get it fixed but again, not without reminding us that we really should just replace the whole thing through Reliable. It is an old unit and does need replacing. As I told the tech, we were aware of that before his arrival. I didn't appreciate having the little sales pitch repeated to me more than once after that.

We got some rebates from Lennox and we will also be getting a tax credit through the federal program for putting in an energy efficient appliance. Their pricing was as good as other companies.

They did a real good job. I was very pleased with the work they did. They came in on time. They did the job very quickly; all of it in one day. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional.

I called one morning and they were able to come by that afternoon. He was very honest with telling me that they would be unable to do the work, but gave me the name of a company that could. I was very appreciative that he was so honest and even gave me the number of a different company.

He came on time, performed the work well, and answered all my 4-year old questions with patience.

We have had no problems. He was clean, neat, and very polite while in our home. He was here when he said he would be. They did the job correctly and the cleanup was great.

I have only begun to use them, but I was so happy with their service and the contractors that I will be calling them again every time I need to. They were professional and they know the job and how to do it. They were also very neat.

It went very well. I called, Ron came to look at it within a week. Marty called with an estimate. They were able to do the work within 2 weeks. They did it in 3 hours.

They were able to come out the same day I called. Plus they accepted my credit card right over the phone. With the diamond package I signed up for, I get preferred response for emergencies and a 10% discount on parts.

The service guy was polite and punctual (they actually called me at work to let me know he would be at the house in 20 min and he beat me there). Only issue was the company profile on Angie's List said to ask for the 'Angie's List Discount.' When I called, the Customer Svc. lady said she had no idea about the Angie's list discount and could not give it to me. But she did give me $10 off the order so I suppose they gave me something. Still think I overpaid though...
