Description of Work: We purchased a refrigerator, stove and over the stove microwave and mattress. We have done business with Goedeker's for 15 years but after this experience we will not go back. Appliances were delivered scratched, ice maker stopped working after one week. We reported it to Goedeker's and after 10 weeks of continuous calling the items were fixed. Delivery was prompt but experience was horrible :( I left a message for Mr. Goedeker's but he did not care enough to even return the call.

+ -1 moreIt had been working fine, but then one morning there was water all over the kitchen floor. We had purchased an extended warranty, so they came out to look at the refrigerator, and found that it needs a new compressor, which is a major part. I have since found out that there are problems with the design, and mainly the compressor. They told me they would replace the compressor, but since I have seen there are so many problems, I want them to replace the refrigerator, and they are not willing to do that.
Description of Work: I purchased a double door Amana refrigerator last year.

The salesman and sales manager were very helpful in explaining features, options, price, etc. The owner, Steve Goedeker came over and introduced himself and asked how things were going. Delivery was prompt and installation well done. New hoses and dryer power cord were provided. They took away the old machines at no extra cost. Overall rating was excellent and we would do business with them again.
Description of Work: I purchased and had delivered a new washer and dryer.

Description of Work: WE SPECIAL ORDERED A REFRIGERATOR AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE ONE WEEK AND IT WAS THREE WEEKS, BEFORE IT WAS DELIVERED. WHEN THEY INSTALLED THE REFRIGERATOR THEY MADE A LITTLE SCRATCH ON THE SIDING.

+ -1 moreBUYING APPLIANCES WAS THE EASY PART. WHEN MY FRIDGE DIDN'T ARRIVE WHEN EXPECTED, I CALLED AND WAS TOLD IT WASN'T ORDERED. IT WOULD BE 9 MORE DAYS. THE SURVEY REPORT WAS FAXED TO THE SALESMAN, BUT HE DIDN'T CALL. DAYS LATER, I CALLED AND WAS TOLD THE REPORT DIDN'T HAVE WHAT WAS ASKED. THE SALESPERSON WOULD CHECK. A DAY LATER, ANOTHER CALL TO THE SALESMAN, THE SURVEYOR TOOK A LONG WEEKEND. FIVE DAYS LATER, THE SALESMAN HASN'T CALLED, THE SURVEY RESULTS ARE UNKNOWN, AND THE VENT HASN'T BEEN ORDERED. DURING THIS TIME, I SPOKE WITH ANOTHER SALESMAN AND A MANAGER, THUS THE PROBLEM WAS KNOWN. THAT FIFTH DAY, I CONTACTED THE BUSINESS OFFICE, CANCELED THE ORDER, AND TOLD HER WHY. SHE SAID A CREDIT WOULD BE ISSUED. TWO DAYS LATER, THE SALESMAN LEFT A MESSAGE FOR ME TO CALL. THREE DAYS AFTER CONTACTING THE BUSINESS OFFICE, THE CREDIT HADN'T BEEN ISSUED. MY HUSBAND THEN CALLED AND RECEIVED A CREDIT THAT DAY.
Description of Work: WE VISITED GOEDEKER'S TWICE AND PURCHASED A REFRIGERATOR AND COOKTOP. WE CONTRACTED FOR A SURVEYOR TO VISIT THE HOME TO (A) DETERMINE IF THE OLD VENT COULD BE USED OR (B)IF WE NEEDED TO ORDER A NEW POP UP VENT FOR THE COOKTOP, AND (C) WOULD THE 2 WE SELECTED SIZE-WISE, WORK.
