Description of Work: Winterized and tuned-up lawn mower. I dropped it off on Friday, they called me Saturday to let me know that the bag frame was broken and gave me the price for a used replacement. It was ready for pick up that Saturday afternoon. I've always had outstanding service with Bill's Place and no one has that kind of turn around time.

He picked the mower up within a few days after I called him and he returned it in less than a week. The mower ran well. I am using him again this mowing season. I anticipate all services will be performed satisfactorily. He is a winner.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a lawn mower tune-up. They picked up the lawn mower and serviced it. My husband was ill and they waited until we were available for delivery. The gentleman was very helpful and friendly. I thought that they were very professional and good with explaining the additional work needed. I thought their prices were comparable to what he expected. We have also contracted to have him do other work as well. They were excellent!

Description of Work: Riding mower tune up. Hasn't ran great since tune up. When I made the original appointment, they seemed bothered to answer the phone, so I haven't gone back.

Description of Work: Riding lawn mower would not start. Bill's Service sent someone to pick up the mower and returned it in a few days. Problem occurred again and when contacted the company stood behind their work and took care of the problem. This is a small local company. Working on equipment is not an exact science. They let me know up front what could be wrong and approximate cost to fix. I found the employees at Bills Service to be honest and straight forward. Would definitely use them again,

Description of Work: I scheduled them to do a clean and tuneup my lawnmower ($80 Angie's list special). They picked it up in and returned it on time. I mowed the lawn one time and it seemed to work well but the second time I attempted to mow the lawn I could not keep the mower running. When I called they agreed to return and pick up the lawnmower. They called and informed me that I had a defective carburetor float. I also rise them to fix that for an additional $80; approximate. They returned the lawnmower and it has worked well since. Even though they failed to catch the carburetor problem the first time and failed to leave a receipt, even though I requested one, I would still use Bill's service again.
