When I first spoke to Brian at Bill's Place about buying a snow thrower, he was very professional and genuine in his responses to my questions. After conversing with him for about 25 minutes, I knew he was the one that I wanted to take my business to. We both agreed that "Service after the sale" was much more important than just repairing the item. Which is lacking these days. I also took advantage of the small mower tune up from Bill's Place that was available to me on Angie's list. On Friday the 25th of October, my snow thrower was delivered to me by UPS and leaving it in the box I called Brian and told him it was here and that I wanted to bring it over for him to unbox and get it ready for use. I also told him that I had a small mower and a rider that I wanted him to tune up for next year. He picked up the rider and the push mower that day and took them to his shop. I brought the snow thrower over to him in my truck. He told me I could pick up the snow thrower that afternoon, but the mower and the rider would be ready next Wednesday the 30th. I picked up the snow thrower later that afternoon and was given a complete on hands instruction by the owner of Bill's place, Bill, Brian's dad. I thanked Bill and he said "We wouldn't send you out of here without knowing how to use this". That's real customer service and you won't get that from too many places now days. Today is the 30th of October and as promised, the rider and small mower were delivered around 0930.

Great service, very timely (same day repair) which I didn't expect. Professional and fairly priced.

They gave me a 100% accurate turnaround time and the work they did was good, and they did not overcharge me. I am very very happy with them. It is close to home. They told me exactly what was wrong with it. They were very honest with me and they did not try to find something else wrong with it or anything.

The cable that made my lawn mower "self-propelled" broke. Also, the rope cord to start the mower was frayed and our son wanted it replaced. Bill's Place was right around the corner from our residence, so we dropped it off there. Being summer, I was told it would take about two weeks to be repaired. This wasn't a problem for us, because we had two other mowers I owned that moved with me after my wife died. I was just glad that he would accept the mower for repair. I had been to other places that wouldn't even look at it! Imagine my surprise when I got a call a couple of days later to say the mower was ready for pickup! We went to retrieve it, and I talked to the owner. He said that a couple of his "high school" helpers were working hard to get through the backlog. He started up the mower to show us it worked well now. The cost to repair it was, in my opinion, extremely reasonable. The time-frame to repair it was highly acceptable. Overall, this was a truly great experience!! I know where I'll have my mowers fixed in the future.

Dealer picked up mower from house for a reasonable fee (also drop-off is included in that fee). There current work load meant it would be 2 weeks before mower would be fixed - they finished in 10 days so that was nice. Air Filter/spark plug replaced, mower runs like new. They went out of their way to deliver the mower sooner than promised and dropped if off after regular business hours - greatly appreciated.

No service performed, just helpful contact referral.

Dropped off on a Saturday, by Tuesday received a call that we were 'all done' - the work was affordable, and there was no attempt to sell or do more than needed.

We dropped off the lawn mower were contacted within a couple of days. They provided an estimate for the repairs. The repairs were completed in a timely manner. They contacted us when the repairs were finished. They did a good job at a reasonable price.

They are really good and give personal attention. Their knowledge of equipments stands out about them. My overall experience with them has been good.

Bill's place was able to repair that a family memeber and neighbor carried out, that caused the lawnmower not to work. I was without the lawnmower for about a week and it is still working well. Basically, they (fam member and neighbor) did not put the mower components back correctly when they were trying to get it to work. Bill's Place did not shame us for the failed attempt.

I called Bill's Place to arrange service on my lawn mower. He picked it up that same day, repaired / tuned it and delivered it back to me a few days later. He kept in touch with me as problems came up. He filed the warranty and did much of the work through the warranty so I didn't have to pay. It looks and runs like a new mower.

This was the first time I've used them. I liked the way they dealt with me. They gave me a quote and held to it. They did it all in a timely manner. The price probably could have been a little bit better, but I wasn’t that disappointed in it.

They were a little bit pricy at the time I thought but they provided a very professional service. I have nothing bad to say as my experiences were always very positive.

I contacted Bill's Place to have them look at a lawn mower I thought I had "killed." I could not pull the cord after running over a large piece of wood. I was told that if I could turn the blade, I didn't kill the motor, and to bring it in. The guy in the shop looked it over and said the pull cord needed to be repaired and the blade was bent but not the shaft. Cost, just under $50. Great, since I had just - JUST - bought this used for $75. Got a call 2 days later. No, they missed that the shaft was damaged beyond repair - not worth replacing - well beyond the cost of the mower. I'm not sure how that could have been missed. I didn't have to pay anything. And it all seemed honest and on the up and up. They kept the mower to dispose of.

We have been using them for a very long time, more than 10 years. I like the fact that they are honest, efficient and I trust them. When they say something I believe them. When ever I want to buy a used car I take it to them and they give me suggestions as to should I buy it or not.

Contacted Bill's expecting to have to wait a couple of weeks since it was the start of the mowing season. Had me drop of the mower the next day and I had it back 2 days later. Excellent service!

My lawn mower is self propelled. I found out that the belt had broken. He said it would be a couple of days. The next day he called and said it s fixed, it is only $80. He also does auto repair there as well as small engine repair. They also loaded it and unloaded it for me.
